People are always blaming their circumstances for what they are. I don't believe in circumstances. The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and, if they can't find them, make them.

Desperate Times
(tom snow/barry alfonso)
Never thought it would be so rough
And i wonder if i have enough
To keep from breaking down
No mercy in this town
Every day is just another test
Seems i'm always second best
But you learn along the way
That's the price you have to pay
I try to stay defiant
Be tough and self-reliant
Though i get tired to the bone
Love is just a wish you keep inside
How's it gonna help me to survive?
Looks like i'm in this fight alone
And i'm livin' in desperate times
Being alive's my only crime
Don't care what i have to do
I'll find some way to make it through
Oh, and i'm livin' in desperate times
And it's too late to change my mind
Till these desperate times are done, gonna run
Watch me run
Innocents get taken in
By the promise of an easy win
You start out so naive
So eager to believe
But the glitter of the city lights
Only covers up a lonely night
Of strangers slamming doors
You're hungry and ignored
I've faced the competition
I've made the hard decisions
Will it be worth it in the end?
Taking any chance that comes along
Getting hard to tell what's right or wrong
I only wish i had a friend
And i'm livin' in desperate times
Being alive's my only crime
Don't care what i have to do
I'll find some way to make it through
Oh, and i'm livin' in desperate times
And it's too late to change my mind
Till these desperate times are done, gonna run
Watch me run
And i'm livin' in desperate times
Being alive's my only crime
Don't care what i have to do
I'll find some way to make it through
Oh, and i'm livin' in desperate times
And it's too late to change my mind
Till these desperate times are done, gonna run
Watch me run
And i'm livin' in desperate times
Being alive's my only crime
Don't care what i have to do
I'll find some way to make it through
Oh, and i'm livin' in desperate times
And it's too late to change my mind
Till these desperate times are done, gonna run

What Do You Care
(robert palmer)
Youre such a rebel now can you remember when
They used to think you knew what added up to ten
Youre sick and tired of taking punches to your side
Now youre gonna add it up to any number that you like
(tell me) what do you care
bout what other people think
What do you care
What do you care
bout what other people think
What do you care
You thought thered always be another shot to take
You crave attention now with every move you make
You like to advertise your interest in success
But you dont know on the score of who youre trying to impress
(tell me) what do you care
bout what other people think
What do you care
What do you care
bout what other people think
What do you care
Baby yeah yeah
Everybodys gonna have their say
You cant please everyone
Why delay what you say
Lets decide to name the day
What do you care
bout what other people think
What do you care
What do you care
bout what other people think
What do you care
No matter what you need Ill never be your fool
Do me a favour and Ill do the same for you
Go ahead do what you have to do
Dont worry if you should do it
Tell me you love me now
Oh girl I wish you would do it
What do you care
bout what other people think
What do you care
What do you care
bout what other people think
What do you care
What do you care
bout what other people think
What do you care
What do you care
bout what other people think
What do you care
Baby, yeah yeah
What do you care
bout what other people think
What do you care
What do you care

You And Me(song)
i dont care what people think about me
i dont care what people say about me
i dont care about anything around me
all i care about is you
the thought of being with you makes me happy
your voice makes me tingle all inside
your name gives me this feeling i cant explain
i love you and those are the only words that explain how i feel about you
i dont care what people think about me
i dont care what people say about me
i dont care about anything around me
all i care about is you
you and me thats how were ment to be
you and me thats all we'll ever be
both of us together as one forever
i dont care what people think about me
i dont care what people say about me
i dont care about anything around me
all i care about is you
you give me feelings i cant explain
you make me feel like i never felt befor
i cant seem to get you out of my head
i dont care what people think about me
i dont care what people say about me
i dont care about anything around me
all i care about is you
i dont care, i dont care
all i care about is you

Who will care for the people?
Who will care for the people; lost, confused and can’t find their home
Who will care for the people; raped, striped and left without anything of their own
Who will care for the people; who once had land, cattle and a harvest to reap?
Who will care for the people; who now possess despair and fear that denies them sleep?
Who will care for the people; that served only kindness but were fed a platter of pain?
Who will care for the people; who have been inflicted with cruelty again and again?
Who will care for the people; who for generations were treated unfairly?
Who will care for the people; that are the reflection of me?
They maybe many but I will mention the one that is familiar
This can be none other than the honourable Mr. Hamilton Ratshefola

I see something wrong
Some people care about,
you.
Some people don't care
Would people listen to,
our lies?
Why are people abused
I see something wrong
There are pretty people
There ugly people
People play
People talk
I'm tired of people messing,
With me.
I guess people hate the truth
Some people are bad
Some people care
Others don't
Why do people cry?
This is life
I don't understand
Some people like to talk
Some people like to walk
Why people argue over nothing?
People act crazy
Why are people always cheating?
People that are lost
I admire people that have respect,
for others.
We are the people of the earth
What really goin on?
I really don't know

What's wrong with our world?
Why are people abused
Why are people shot
Why do people commit suicide
Why are people anorexic and bulimic
Why do people care more about money than family
Why do people call themselves fat or ugly
Why are kids kidnapped and killed
Why do people die
Why do people tell you they love you and take it back
Why do people hurt each other
Why are people raped
Why do people cut themselves
Why do people hate their lives
Why do teenagers get pregnant
Why do people call each other names
Why are people raciest
Why are people depressed
Why are people put in mental hospitals
Why do peole do drugs
Why do people cuss
Why do people not care what happens to them
Why do people care what others think of them
What's wrong with our world

Take Celebrity Out
I don’t care about your girlfriends
I don’t care about your affairs
I don’t care how many your wives
I don’t care you divorce with who
What I need is your entertainment
I don’t care about your castles and cars
I don’t care about your new styles
I don’t care if you famous everywhere
I don’t care you know many connection
What I need is your talent
I don’t care about your plastic surgery
I don’t care about your disturbing behavior
I don’t care you run from your rehabilitation
I don’t care you have a fight with who
What I need is your hard work
I don’t care about your orientation
I don’t care about your life philosophy
I don’t care you are a selfish and arrogant person
I don’t care you could move thousand people
What I need is your result

Lonely Locals
It is a bad situation
to be a lonely local
Because your circumstances
Have put you
In a small locale.
Take the way out
That most locals
Take.
Use the internet
And change your circumstances
To move you
Out of your locale.

A Asome Poem About PEOPLE
Some people
Care about you, some people
Don’t care,
Make fun of you and walk away,
Some people,
Run past, some people
Hand you presents,
Give you a pat on the back,
Some people
You love, some people
You don’t know
Some people, some people,
You do,
Some people
You notice, some people
Eat cauliflower, some people
Are teenagers,
Some people walk to restaurants,
Sit down at the counter,
Eat there food, through it at
People,
Some people never notice you,
Some people always look, some people
Want to take you away, some people
Will never exist
Some people are other people; some people are you, some people
Die ever second,
Some people are you

King's Denial
A job so unsteady.
A kid just trying to make it on his own.
The bills pile up.
The desperate get even more desperate.
For some it seems as if their will be no relief.
The commander and chief speaks with a such a smile.
Is he in denial?
Or does he not care what happens right underneath feet?
It is his command.
It is his watch.
So he saysss
The man has no clue.
A puppet with a mouth piece.
Keep telling them what they want to here.
Ease their concern.
For you'll never be able to ease their suffering.
His intentions have been blurred.
People know and are in a stir.
They thought of him as their friend.
Now he turns his back.
Now he walks away.
A parade of nothing but failure and discontent.
Promises were made.
People lives were at stake.
Robbed of all their dignity.
The prisons are already full.
We can't afford any more.
Where oh where are gonna put all these people.
Like refugees they walk the street.
They are hungry.
They are just looking for something to eat.
In the soup kitchens their is not enough go around.
One dinner then on your way.
The doors then close.
I'm sorry we ran out, not today.
A burning sensation in the stomach.
The kind of hate that decimates the human soul.
Do you really blame them for losing their cool?

Do We Accept
Why are there people struggling to live
Why are there people wanting to give
Why are there people feeling such pain
Why are there people with nothing to gain
Why are there people full of greed
Why are there people desperate to succeed
Why are there people with hatred for all
Why are there people not wanting to fall
Why are there people dying each day
Do we accept that this is okay
Quit looking for your salvation from the emotionally stunted people
We forget that we are part of the very core of creation, thus we are an expression of creation. From time to time we incarnate into families that is into circumstances that shame us out of are core, of who we are, this starts from birth, such feelings begin in the womb from the circumstances that surround the mother. The way out of such feelings is in. Own your feelings, they are telling you that the environment that you were raised in was inadequate. Quit looking for your salvation from the emotionally stunted people of your past. Find it in people who are able and willing to own their projections, who are capable of really loving you, that is be with people who love you for you instead of trying to manipulate you into roles that validates their twisted and stunted sense of self.

I Still Hate The System
The country will get want to wants,
but there will be souls with dreams unfulfilled.
Perhaps that is a good thing.
For un-quenched thirsts are fuel for fire in the belly.
A nation with fire in its pits breed a desperate nation.
And desperate men will rid obstacles in their path.
A desperate man has no fear, he has nothing to lose.
And yet he sits there in desperate quiet and frustrated contemplation, still feeling mighty mighty sad.
Desperate Lives
Whats the problem here
Whats the noise
Im just waiting for the man (yea)
Me and the boys
Hes got the goods
Weve got the twenties, tens and fives
Everybodys doing it
Living desperate lives (living on the edge)
Desperate lives
Im stuck in the middle
Desperate lives
My life is a riddle
And Im sure theres a way out
When I want it
Sometimes I worry
But Im no fool
I keep it to myself
Cause you gotta stay cool
Desperate lives
Im stuck in the middle
Desperate lives
Sometimes I feel my life floating away
And times seems so precious
I want to hold you and say
Im stuck in the middle
Desperate lives
My life is a riddle
Desperate lives
Im stuck in the middle
Ive got this friend you know hes real cool
He gave new meaning to the term high school
Sometimes I worry
But Im no fool
I keep it to myself
Cause you gotta stay cool
Desperate lives
Im stuck in the middle
Desperate lives
My life is a riddle
And Im sure theres a way out
When I want it
Momma just looks confused and my daddy said
Ive got this bomb tick, tick, ticking in my head
Im stuck in the middle
Desperate lives
My life is a riddle
Desperate lives
Im stuck in the middle
