The Communist regime didn't consider this to be a shining moment in history and assigned no heroism to it. They classified it as merely an accident.

The last three books are much more a case of a moment of history, what happened almost by accident or coincidence, like being in the same elevator or lifeboat.

One Shining Moment
(vaneese thomas)
Tell me who, what, when,
Where did it start?
Tell me when, where
How did you get in my heart?
I feel your love washing over me
In waves of emotion so strong
I want to say while Ive got the chance
In the words of this song
Youre my one shining moment
You are all my dreams come true
Honey, youre my one shining moment
And if I never have another
Im glad that Ive known you
You fill up for me all the empty spaces
All the pain I ever felt, youve erased it
Is it any wonder? no way
That Im growing fonder every day
Theres a freedom that I never knew
And its all because of you, honey
Youre my one shining moment
You are all my dreams come true
Honey, youre my one shining moment
And if I never have another
Im glad that Ive known you
I wake up with you on my mind
You light up my day
There is nothing better I can find
Oh, my love, Im so proud
That I can say, hey
All my dreams wrapped
Into one under the sun, honey
Honey, youre my one shining moment
And if I never have another
Im glad that Ive known you
If I never have another
Im glad that Ive known you
Shining moment

Shining Light
Oooooh...
Something was pulling me
Without knowing what was leading me on
Your shining light, your shining light
In my darkest hour, the only way to bring the dawn
Was your shining light, your shining light
But youre unaware your shining light is even on
Like with a little glance when you take me by surprise
And I take a chance and I see it all through your eyes
Free me from my history, show me where to draw the line
By lighting up the mystery, and you dont even know that it shines
Im not worried now about flying too close to the sun
Your shining light, your shining light
When december skies are cold
Well, you know I will always run
To your shining light, your shining light
But youre unaware your shining light is even on
Like with a little glance when you take me by surprise
And I take a chance and I see it all through your eyes
Free me from my history, show me where to draw the line
By lighting up the mystery, and you dont even know that it shines
I wont abuse it, so please just let it glow behind your smile
Let me use it, let me feel the warmth like a little child
Who understands your glance, though it takes me by surprise
And I take a chance and I see it all through your eyes
Its your shining light, from my history, and it pulls me out of my mind
Its your shining light, you dont even know that it shines (by lighting up the mystery)
Its your shining, its your shining light
Its your shining light, oooooh
Its your shining, its your shining light
Its your shining light, you dont even know that it shines
Its your shining, its your shining light
Its your shining light, oooooh
Its your shining, its your shining light
Its your shining light, you dont even know that it shines

History
Yesterday is History.
History brings us to this present moment
but it doesn't shape who we are at this present moment.
We can't let our History control us
and who we wish to be.
Our future is our choice,
Not History's.

I have spent all my life under a Communist regime, and I will tell you that a society without any objective legal scale is a terrible one indeed. But a society with no other scale but the legal one is not quite worthy of man either.

The Moment (barack Hussain Obama’s Inauguration)
The moment of Obama’s inauguration
Was a fluke of fate written for the nation
It was a moment to be cherished
For all citizens including the perished
It was a moment that brought glory
For abandoning the discriminatory
It was a moment that scribbled in history
And will be every child’s bed-time story
It was a moment that castigated treason
And brought in for the future, a reason
It was a moment that penalized felony
A moment the history foresaw
It was a moment that put an end to racism
Making every black and white equally blossom
It was a moment for the South Africans
A moment that promised the world would awaken
(written for obama, who will bring a change to the world dominating US)

History Never Repeats (feat. Neil & Tim Finn)
History never repeats
I tell myself before I go to sleep
Don't say the words you might regret
I lost before, you know I can't forget
There was a girl I used to know
She dealt my love a savage blow
I was so young, too blind to see
But anyway, that's history
And I say, history never repeats
I tell myself before I go to sleep
And there's a light shining in the dark
Leading me on towards a change of heart
You say I always play the fool
I can't go on if that's the rule
Better to jump than hesitate
I need a change and I can't wait
I say, history never repeats
I tell myself before I go to sleep
And there's a light shining in the dark
Leading me on towards a change of heart
Never repeats, whoa, oh
History never repeats (x2)
Deep in the night it's all so clear
I lie awake with great ideas
Looking about in no man's land
I think at last I understand
History never repeats
I tell myself before I go to sleep
And there's a light shining in the dark
Leading me on towards a change of heart
Ahhh

Hero Worshiping
A Hero he is no doubt –
His Heroism now showcased
The public now find it safe
To don his cap
And express their solidarity
To don his cap
And do their timely duty!
With us it has always been so
The cause gets soon sugar coated and showcased
The ideals get bartered for the idols
We worship more not duties but deities
Thus pitiably
Not much good History
But a lot of History-Makers get made!

Moment To Moment
Written by gerry beckley and phil galdston, 1998
Found on human nature.
There was a time I knew
All that there was to know
No one could tell me then
I was wrong
I wasnt strong enough
To see where my weakness lay
The world that you hold so tight
Could slip away
And from moment to moment
Your life can change
Theres a storm over the horizon
A sea no one can see
Somewhere around the bend
Right when you least expect
Someone can walk away
With no regret
Leaving an empty space
Breaking a sacred trust
All of your shiny dreams
Begin to rust
Yes from moment to moment your life can change
Theres a storm over the horizon
The sea you cannot see
Yes from moment to moment
Promise me youll never change
Promise me youll stay the same
Promise me youll never change
Yes from moment to moment your life can change
Theres a storm over the horizon
A sea youll never see
Yes from moment to moment your life can change
Theres a light when the sun is rising
A day after today
Promise me youll never change (promise me youll never change)
Promise me youll stay the same (the same)
Promise me youll never change
Every moment is a shining light
Every moment is the darkest night
Every moment gotta get it right
Every single moment
Every moment is a shining light
Every moment is the darkest night
Every moment gotta get it right
Every moment is a shining light
Every moment is the darkest night
Every moment gotta get it right
Every single moment
Every moment is a shining light
Every moment is the darkest night
Every moment gotta get it right
Every single moment

If Our Sun Is A Star
Everyone living on Earth can see,
The Sun shining brightly...
With a radiance believed.
But when we leave this Earth,
Do we become stars...
To twinkle far?
And if our Sun is a star,
To shine brightly day and night...
Who and what is this,
Assigned to protect our existence?
Are we too not 'gods'...?
Here as a work-in-progress.
Awaiting to be assigned,
Somewhere in the Universe...
To exist eternally as 'divine'?
If not...
Why would God insist,
We exist to love Him first...
Above all others?

Reggae Accident
Reggae accident
By: lucas p. gravell
1993
-- spoken:
Okay now, get ready heres your part. now listen to me.
It was a reggae accident
I said a reggae accident
I cant here you
A reggae accident
A reggae accident
A reggae accident
Now make room for the band
A reggae accident
Here they come here they come
A reggae accident
I say make room for them
A reggae accident
Ha ha, look out now
It was a reggae accident
A reggae accident
This is not a political statement
Nor is it a farce
In the land of the great bald bird
The rasta man is sparse
He does not like our urban jungle
Or our capitalistic nightmare
He does not believe in auto insurance
Mon I dont believe that is fair
It was a reggae accident
Four rastas in a rambler
A reggae accident
They came from out of nowhere
A reggae accident
They were smoking some spliff cigars
A reggae accident
They totaled out my car
I lost the case that sealed my fate
Last week in municipal court
The judge ruled for rasta restitution
Of a most peculiar sort
Now theres four stoned faces at my dinner table
And my wife wonders how come
She does not mind the extra mouths to feed
As much as she minds those after dinner drums
We sing was a reggae accident
Four rastas eating pasta
A reggae accident
Pass the parmesan please
A reggae accident
How does a rasta spell relief
A reggae accident
No problem mon, pass the spliff
Oh reggae down...
Now the sun shines on the isle of jamaica
As its done since time began
No problem says the rasta mon
When I asked to join his band
You see I sold my house I quit my job
I left that narrow-minded wife
And I moved to the island of jamaica ya
Just to live that rasta life
It was a reggae accident
Four rastas in a rambler
A reggae accident
They came from out of nowhere
A reggae accident
They were smoking some spliff cigars
A reggae accident
Now Ive become a rasta star
It was a reggae accident
Look out world
A reggae accident
You know the harder they come
A reggae accident
The harder they fall one and all
A reggae accident
It was just an accident one day
A reggae accident
A reggae accident
A reggae accident
A reggae accident
-- spoken:
Come back, come back to jamaica
Come back to the way things used to be
Ya, ya lets play some dominoes now mon
Come on...

In Germany, they first came for the communists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist. Then they came for the Catholics and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Catholic. Then they came for me -- and by that time there was nobody left to speak up.

Our History's Start
The moment I walked in
The moment our eyes locked
The moment I begged my heart not to do this
But it wouldn't stop
The moment you smiled at me
And became the only person in the room
I could see
The moment I looked at you
And saw our faces were only a breath apart
Is the moment that will be remembered
As our history's start
