Music

Can you feel the music,
As it calms your soul,
Music helps to keep us
on our feet.

Music is surely the soul
that connects within us all,
Nourishing and comforting us.

The beauty of soft melody
playing helps to relax our
mind and body and our
soul.

Variety of different music helps
us all to decide which rhythm our
soul wants for today.

Music helps us to blossom,
The same way as flowers
like a good tune or a sweet
lullaby.

Without music life would
have no nourishment to help
move us along,
life would feel dull.

Music fills the emptiness in
our hearts,
Spreading that joyful feeling.

Music has a way to always chase
away those dark clouds,
When feeling gloomy and sad,
Turn on that favorite song.

Music has come along way through
out history,
Nothing could never take away
the magic of music.

An Epitaph for MJ

The world has lost a king.
Music is in chaos; it bewails his loss,
The one whose life was music.
All danced to his tune;
Now he lies low,
6 feet down,
Waiting for His Grace.
We pray for him,
The one whose music was prayer,
'Heal the world
Make it a better place
For you and for me
And the entire human race'.
Let us pray in unison for this great soul
Whose food was music
And music alone...
'If music be the food of love, play on....'
No music reigned above him,
But it sprang from his soul,
Whose spirit was music.
The charm of music lies within,
And from therein comes his voice.
He reigned like a fresh bloom
In the garden of music.

But now...

He’s gone from earth,

But not from our hearts...

He stays behind,

For coming generations...

There’s no end for MJ...

When Music Touched My Heart

Your singing a beautiful tune
But it is over too soon
I need to hear more
Your singing, I adore
Up until today
I was drowned with dismay
Then I heard your song
Now, to your music, I belong
Your music has taken over my soul
I am under it's control
All because I opened up my core
Its like a drug, I need some more
Of your music, I'm now part
Ever since the day your music touched my heart

Street Music

There's a band in the street, there's a band in the street.
It will play you a tune for a penny—
It will play you a tune, you a tune, you a tune,
And you, though you haven't got any,
For the music's free, and the music's bold.
It cannot really be bought and sold.
And the people walk with their heads held high
Whether or not they've a penny.
And the music's there as the bandsmen know,
For the poor though the poor are many.
Oh the music's free and the music's bold.
It cannot really be bought and sold.

Add Some Music

The sunday mornin' gospel goes good with the soul
There's blues, folk, and country, and rock like a rollin' stone
The world could come together as one
If everybody under the sun
Add some music to your day
(Add some music add some add some music to your day)
A bob didit a bop didit
You'll hear it while you're walkin' by a neighbor's home
You'll hear it faintly in the distance when you're on the phone
You're sittin' in a dentist's chair
And they've got music for you there
To add some music
(Add some music add some add some music to your)
To your day
A bob didit a bop didit
Add some music music everywhere (add some music)
Add some add some add some add some music (add some music)
Your doctor knows it keeps you calm
Your preacher adds it to his psalms
So add some music
(Add some music add some add some music to your)
To your day
Music
(Add some music add some music)
When you're alone
(Add some music add some music)
Is like a companion
(Add some music add some music)
For your lonely soul
Oo oo oo woo oo woo oo oo oo oooo
When day is over (when day is over)
I close my tired eyes (I close my tired)
Music is in my soul
At a movie you can feel it touching your heart
And on every day of the summertime
You'll hear children chasing ice cream carts
They'll play it on your wedding day
There must be 'bout a million ways
To add some music
(Add some music add some add some music to your)
To your day
Add some music to your day
Add some music to your day
Add some music to your day
Add some music to your day
Add some music to your day

Where's the Music?

Can you hear the music's roar?
Can you feel the music's beat?
Can you read any ole musical score?
Can you clap your hands and stomp your feet?

Let the music lift you up and make you fly,
Let it envelop you and sing a sweet tune
As your thoughts are away, floating in the sky,
The music will not let the return any time soon.

But a life without music,
A life without song,
Is only when you choose it,
And my friend, that decision is wrong.

So open your soul and let the ballads in,
Because a life without music feels to me a sin.

Music And Song

To song and to music people dance along
And life all the better for music and song
When the musicians play and the singers do sing
Great joy to so many they always do bring
Music and song belongs to all people not to any one race
And amongst every culture commands a high place
From the North to the South Pole from Brazil to France
To song and to music people inspired to dance
The gifts of the gods to humanity
Without song and music far worse off we would be
To every tune ever born there's a song to be sung
And music and song are for the old and the young
They were born as soul mates and as soul mates they remain
And for music and song let us hear it again.

Music

Music is timeless
We sway to its beat
The slow the fast
Make us glow
With ecstasy
That powers to the beat

Rock and Roll
Classics
Pop and Blues
Jazz and Rap
Music no matter what the beat
Always sooths the soul

Love songs
Mowtown
Barbershop and Chorus
Each and ever tune
Makes us swoon to the tune

Those of us lucky
To have music in our souls
Are the ones that send melodies?
That lives forever in our souls

The sweet voices of angels
The rock of ages in bands
They are our escape
From our pinnacle dreams

Its The Music

Do you hear it
Its the pounding of your heart
The thump of your foot hitting the pavement
Its the rythym

Its the song in your head
That tune your whistling
The jingle on the TV
Its the music

Its the rap kicking with the subs
The rock that show you how to stick it to the man
The blues with that soul
Its the music

What is it
Its the music
The heartbeat of the world
The rythym that brings us together
The only universally understood language

Its the happiness
The sorrow,
The guidance,
The inspiration
Its the music

It lives in us all
Its the music
The power
The Life.

Music of the heart

Sometimes people events simply take their toil
We tire, get angry, and our blood can boil
The world tries hard to knock it out of you
But we need to keep faith and stay true

Listen to your heart soul, feel the music within
Feel share the music and its song it does sing
When others try to drag you in that bottomless hole
Stay true to your inner music and remain whole

Follow your heart soul’s tune to keep to the path
Don’t silence your music with anger and wrath
The earths music of life constantly us surrounds
Its rhythm beat is there, stop, listen to its sounds

Listen to your souls heart’s song its always near
Drink in the earth’s music, there’s nothing to fear
Don’t let others drown your music though they try
Stay true to your song, keep your music in the sky

Fifty Marbels

Fifty years of marbeles
Pulled from our jars
One by one
Shared with the love of each other
We've watched as the years melted away
Oh how it seemed like only yesterday
When things were all brand new
Now after these fifty years
Whats left in our jars
Are meant for us to renew
All the good times togather
With all those we met on the way
For when the jars go empty
On to the Lord
We'll spend our days

Let The Music Heal Your Soul

Oh when someone writes a song
With a simple line
Just a song
Where the seasons show
And if someone feels the same
About the simple song
Oh sometimes
You just cant hear them say
Music gives you happiness or sadness
But it also, it also heals your soul
Chorus
Let the music heal your soul
Let the music take control
Let the music give you
The power to move any mountain
Or if someone plays piano
With some simple chords
So melodic
And endearing too
Oh if someone plays guitar
With the old piano
Then maybe
You can hear them sing
Music gives you happiness or sadness
But it also, it also heals your soul
Chorus
Let the music heal your soul
Let the music take control
Let the music give you
The power to move any mountain
Oh yes
Let the music heal your soul
Let the music take control
Let the music heal your soul
Oh, oh yes
Let the music heal your soul
Let the music take control (take control)
Let the music heal your soul (heal your soul)
Let the music take control (let the music take control)
Let the music heal your soul
Let the music take control (oh yes)
Let the music heal your soul (everybody make
Let the music take control (let the music take control)
Let the music heal your soul (let it heal your soul)
Let the music take control (oh, oh)
Let the music heal your soul
Let the music take control

Rock & Roll Ride (Rock Lyrics) :

We tuned our guitars, we're ready to play our tune.
On a rock & roll ride.Guitar slide to the moon.
Heavy metal, hard rock & roll.
There's enough music to sooth the soul.

We got enough time, to reach the moon.
We got enough time, to play our tune.
Heavy metal, hard rock & roll.
There's enough music to sooth the soul.

Guitar slide, rocket ride in tune.
We built our rocket. We'll fly off to the moon.
Climb on board. No time to stay. It's time to say.
That we tuned our guitars. We're ready to play our tune.

We're off the ground. We'll be on our way real soon.
On a rock & roll ride.Guitar slide to the moon.
Heavy metal, hard rock & roll.
There's enough music to sooth the soul.

We got enough time, to reach the moon.
We got enough time, to play our tune.
On a rock & roll ride.Guitar slide to the moon...

Jars

The second she was born, they put bits of her in jars,
placenta was the first, that went in the jar,
oh yah, it went straight in the jar.

Then when she was 4, her tonsils, what's more,
her adenoids too were all put in jars,
oh yah, they went straight in the jar.

Hospitals, such strange places, all antiseptic and large
and medics are prone to examine, you know,
all those bodily parts left in jars.

So getting back to the story, appendicitis was next,
and sure as the first two small stanza's
you can guess where appendix went next.

For a while they left her alone, in tact and therefore unharmed
but as soon as she turned 47
they put more of her bits in those jars.

Her uterus and her cervix along with her ovaries too
and next on the list was a very small cyst
that they put in a jar labeled blue.

By the time this poor lady was 60
there wasn't much left I'm afraid, but at least when she died
she was tiny and the coffin was perfect sized.

The Music of the World and of the Soul

I

Why should I say I see the things I see not?
Why be and be not?
Show love for that I love not, and fear for what I fear not?
And dance about to music that I hear not?
Who standeth still i’ the street
Shall be hustled and justled about;
And he that stops i’ the dance shall be spurned by the dancers’ feet,
Shall be shoved and be twisted by all he shall meet,
And shall raise up an outcry and rout;
And the partner, too,
What ’s the partner to do?
While all the while ’tis but, perchance, an humming in mine ear,
That yet anon shall hear,
And I anon, the music in my soul,
In a moment read the whole;
The music in my heart,
Joyously take my part,
And hand in hand, and heart with heart, with these retreat, advance;
And borne on wings of wavy sound,
Whirl with these around, around,
Who here are living in the living dance
Why forfeit that fair chance?
Till that arrive, till thou awake,
Of these, my soul, thy music make,
And keep amid the throng,
And turn as they shall turn, and bound as they are bounding,
Alas! alas! alas! and what if all along
The music is not sounding?

II

Are there not, then, two musics unto men?
One loud and bold and coarse,
And overpowering still perforce
All tone and tune beside;
Yet in despite its pride
Only of fumes of foolish fancy bred,
And sounding solely in the sounding head
The other, soft and low,
Stealing whence we not know,
Painfully heard, and easily forgot,
With pauses oft and many a silence strange
(And silent oft it seems, when silent it is not),
Revivals too of unexpected change
Haply thou think’st ’twill never be begun,
Or that ’t has come, and been, and passed away
Yet turn to other none,
Turn not, oh, turn not thou!
But listen, listen, listen, if haply be heard it may;
Listen, listen, listen, is it not sounding now?

III

Yea, and as thought of some departed friend
By death or distance parted will descend,
Severing, in crowded rooms ablaze with light,
As by a magic screen, the seer from the sight
(Palsying the nerves that intervene
The eye and central sense between);
So may the ear,
Hearing not hear,
Though drums do roll, and pipes and cymbals ring;
So the bare conscience of the better thing
Unfelt, unseen, unimaged, all unknown,
May fix the entrancèd soul ’mid multitudes alone.

What is music?

What is music?
Music is the rhythm of the soul
Every beat, every tone, every melody
Is in sync with the natural vibe of your body

What is music?
Music is an outlet, from the everyday
It can take away the pain you feel
Or add to the excitement of a new day

What is music?
Music is something that never changes, just Evolves
Music brings people together of all ages
No matter what you believe in, music brings Common ground

What is music?
Music is my name
Music is who I am
Music is my life
Music is something that can’t be taken away
I will always and forever have MY music
