Music
Music is timeless
We sway to its beat
The slow the fast
Make us glow
With ecstasy
That powers to the beat
Rock and Roll
Classics
Pop and Blues
Jazz and Rap
Music no matter what the beat
Always sooths the soul
Love songs
Mowtown
Barbershop and Chorus
Each and ever tune
Makes us swoon to the tune
Those of us lucky
To have music in our souls
Are the ones that send melodies?
That lives forever in our souls
The sweet voices of angels
The rock of ages in bands
They are our escape
From our pinnacle dreams

Rock And Roll Music
Just let me hear some of that rock and roll music
Any old way you choose it
It's got a back beat, you can't lost it,
Any old time you use it
It's gotta be rock roll music
If you wanna dance with me
If you wanna dance with me
I've got no kick against modern jazz
Unless they try to play it too darn fast
And change the beauty of the melody
Until they sound just like a symphony
That's why i go for that that rock and roll music
Any old way you choose it
It's got a back beat, you can't lost it,
Any old time you use it
It's gotta be rock roll music
If you wanna dance with me
If you wanna dance with me
I took my loved one over 'cross the tracks
So she can hear my man awail a sax
I must admit they have a rockin' band
Man, they were goin' like a hurrican'
That's why i go for that that rock and roll music
Any old way you choose it
It's got a back beat, you can't lost it,
Any old time you use it
It's gotta be rock roll music
If you wanna dance with me
If you wanna dance with me
Way down south they gave a jubilee
The jokey folks they had a jamboree
They're drinkin' home brew from a water cup
The folks dancin' got all shook up
And started playin' that that rock and roll music
Any old way you choose it
It's got a back beat, you can't lost it,

It's gotta be rock roll music
If you wanna dance with me
If you wanna dance with me
Don't care to hear 'em play a tango
I'm in the mood to gear a mambo
It's way to early for a congo
So keep a rockin' that piano
So i can gear some of that
Rock and roll music

Music to Relax
Every beat, every tone
Music is rhythm of soul
Pop, Jazz and Country
Release all our worries
Music gives life a motion
Music controls every emotion
Music calms the mind
Music helps us – our way to find!
Music is inspiration
Music – full of imagination
Music has feelings
Music gives life a meaning
A Slow beat is silent word
A fast beat make you shrewd
Every moment its true worth
Music gives life – new birth
Music is melody
Music moves your body
Make people jump up and down
Spin in circles round and round
Music for celebration
Music for education
Music for entertainment
Music for refreshment
Listen to music to change your mood
Listen to music to keep you cool
Listen to music just to relax
Listen to music to make you sleep

The Heart Of Rock & Roll
New york, new york, is everything they say
And no place that Id rather be
Where else can you do a half a million things
All at a quarter to three
When they palt their music, ooh that modern music
They like it with a lot of style
But ts still that same old back beat rhythm
That really drives em wild
They say the heart of rock and roll is still beating
And from what Ive seen I believe em
Now the old boy may be barely breathing
But the heart of rock and roll is still beating
La, hollywood, and the sunset strip
Is something everyone should see
Neon lights and the pretty pretty girls
All dressed so scantily
When they play their music
That hard rock music
They like it with a lot of flash
But its still that same old back beat rhythm
That really kicks em in the
They say the heart of rock and roll is still beating
And from what Ive seen I believe em
Now the old boy may be barely breathing
But the heart of rock and roll is still beating
Dc, san antone and the liberty town, boston and baton rouge
Tulsa, austin, oklahoma city, seattle, san francisco, too
Everywhere theres music, real live music, bands with a million styles
But its still that some old rock and roll music
That really drives em wild
They say the heart of rock and roll is still beating
And from what Ive seen I believe em
Now the old boy may be barely breathing
But the heart of rock and roll is still beating

Listen To Music
Listen to music
To change your mood
A fast beat
May make you shrewd
Listen to music
Just to relax
A melodious one
May freeze you as wax
Listen to music
Out of some passion
A slow beat
May keep you from tension
Listen to music
With a fresh cool breeze
A divine rythm
May keep you in peace
Listen to music
To keep doctors away
A classic tune
May keep your ail at bay
Listen to music
When your mind goes dull
A Rehman's composition
May cheer you up well
Listen to music
Just before you sleep
A bethoven's melody
May make your's deep
Listen to music
When your worries attack you
Then see those worries
Running out of view
Listen to music
When you turn as a angry hound
Your favourite beat
May cool you down
Listen to music
But when time says ''no''
Sing a song
And live so long

Raised On Rock
(words & music by mark james)
I remember as a child I used to hear
Music that they played lord with a feel
Some call it folk, some call it soul
People let me tell you it was rock and roll
I was raised on rock, I got rhythm in my soul
Every day when I got home I turned on my radio
Listening to the music that my idols made
I knew every single record the djs played
A honky tonk a hound dog, a johnny b. goode
Chain gang, love is strange, knock on wood
I was raised on rock, I got rhythm in my soul
I was born to love the beat I was made for rock and roll
I thought it was a fad, thought that it would pass
But the younger generation knew it would last
Times gone by, the beat goes on
But every time I hear it lord it takes me home
I was raised on rock, I got rhythm in my soul
Every day when I got home I turned on my radio
Mother played recordings of beethovens fifth
Mozarts sonatas down the classical liszt
My papa loved to listen to his country songs
While I was in the back room rockin on
I was raised on rock, I got rhythm in my soul
I was born to love the beat I was made for rock and roll
I was raised on rock, I got rhythm in my soul
I was born to love the beat I was made for rock and roll
I was raised on rock, I got rhythm in my soul

What is music?
What is music?
Music is the rhythm of the soul
Every beat, every tone, every melody
Is in sync with the natural vibe of your body
What is music?
Music is an outlet, from the everyday
It can take away the pain you feel
Or add to the excitement of a new day
What is music?
Music is something that never changes, just Evolves
Music brings people together of all ages
No matter what you believe in, music brings Common ground
What is music?
Music is my name
Music is who I am
Music is my life
Music is something that can’t be taken away
I will always and forever have MY music

Rock n Roll Is King
Listen everybody let me tell you bout the rock n roll
Feel that rhythm and its really gonna thrill your soul
She said come along with me, to a land of make believe
She said rock n roll is king
She loves that rock n roll and she plays it all night long
Thats all she ever tells me when I call her on the telephone
She says feel that jumpin beat, and git up on your feet
She says rock n roll is king
Chorus: oh let those guitars play
Play for me play for me
Oh let that song ring out
Thats how its meant to be
It rolls like a train thats comin on down the track
She rolled over beethoven and she gave tchaikovsky back
She loves that drivin beat, she goes dancin on down the street
She said rock n roll is king
Chorus
When she comes around and Im listenin to the radio
She says you cant do that cause all I wanna do is rock n roll
Now here Im gonna stay where that music starts to play
She says rock n roll is king

Down For The Get Down
Verse 1:
Brace yourself cause here we come
Us three unite to become one and get this party started
So get up outta your chair cause were taking you there not a worry or care
Gonna dance until you feel it all in your soul
Come on and lose control
You cant sit still cause the music is taking you where you wanna be
Chorus:
We make it hot and you know that we came to blow this spot
So lets go we keep it moving
Rock to this beat you hear me pumpin through your town
Because were down for the get down
Stop, look and listen this is how we do it
Shock through your system when you listen to it
Rock to this beat you hear me pumping through your town
Because were down for the get down
Verse 2:
Were here to let you know that we aint foolin around
When the music hits your body its hard to sit down
So everybody get on up and dance away your blues
Grab somebody show them that youre down for the get down too
You cant sit still cause the music is taking you where you wanna be
Chorus:
We make it hot and you know that we came to blow this spot
So lets go we keep it moving
Rock to this beat you hear me pumpin through your town
Because were down for the get down
Bridge:
Stop, look and listen this is how we do it
Shock through your system when you listen to it
Rock to this beat you hear me pumping through your town
Because were down for the get down
You cant sit still cause the music is taking you where you wanna be

Ace In The Hole
Some people say Jesus that's the ace in the hole
But I never met the man so l don't really know
Maybe some Christmas if I'm sick and alone
He will look up my number
Call me on the phone and say :
Hey, boy, where you been so long
Don't you know me
I'm your ace in the hole
Two hundred dollars, that's my ace in the hole
When I'm down, dirty and desperate
That's my emergency bank roll (I got . . .)
Two hundred dollars, that's the price on the street
If you wanna get some quality
That's the price you got to meet (and the man says...)
Hey, Junior, where you been so long
Don't you know me
I'm your ace in the hole
(talk about ace in the hole)
Once I was crazy and my ace in the hole
Was that I knew that I was crazy
So I never lost my self-control
I just walk in the middle of the road
I sleep in the middle of the bed
I stop in the middle of a sentence
And the voice in the middle of my head said
Hey, Junior, where you been so long
Don't you know me
I'm your ace in the hole (oh yeah)
Ace in the hole
Lean on me
Don't you know me
I'm your guarantee
Riding on this rolling bus
Beneath a stormy sky
With a slow moon rising
And the smokestacks driving by
In the hour when the heart is weakest
And the memory is strong
When time has stopped
But the bus just rolls along
Roll on, roll on
Roll on, roll on
Roll on, roll on
Some people say music that's their ace in the hole
Just your ordinary rhythm and blues
Your basic rock and roll
You can sit on the top of the beat
You can lean on the side of the beat
You can hang from the bottom of the beat
But you got to admit that the music is sweet
Where you been so long
Don't you know me l m your ace in the hole (oh yeah)
Ace in the hole
Lean on me
Don't you know me
I'm your guarantee
Some people say music that's their ace in the hole
Just your ordinary rhythm and blues
Your basic rock and roll
You can sit on the top of the beat
You can lean on the side of the beat
You can hang from the bottom of the beat
But you gotta admit that the music is sweet
Hey, Junior, I'm your ace in the hole
Hey, Junior, I'm your ace in the hole
Hey, Junior, I'm your ace in the hole
Hey, Junior, I'm your ace in the hole

I Write The Songs
Ive been alive forever,
And I wrote the very first song.
I put the words and the melodies together,
I am music,
And I write the songs.
I write the songs that make the whole world sing.
I write the songs of love and special thing s.
I write the songs that make the young girls cry.
I write the songs, I write the songs.
My home lies deep within you,
And Ive got my own place in your sole.
Now, when I look out through your eyes,
Im youg again, even though Im very old.
Chorus
Oh my music makes you dance
And gives your spirit to take a chance,
And I wrote some rock n roll so you can move.
Music fills your heart,
Well, thats a real fine place to start.
Its from me its for you,
Its from you, its from me,
Its a world wide symphony.
Chorus
I am music, and I write the songs.

The Devils Music
I’ve heard all kinds of music
From easy listening to heavy rock to blues
2 tone, ska and acid jazz, all made me move my shoes
I’ve jumped around to punk
Calypso, beat-box and industrial dance
Mellowed with chill-out tunes like ambient house techno trance
Barn-dance and funk rock and gospel
Soul music is simple sublime
I’ve listened to new age music, but thankfully only one time
Songs sung a cappella
A balled of be-bop or two
Even a bash at Karaoke when I’ve drunk quite a few
Big band brass boogie woogie
And disco help my mind settle
I’ve even hummed happily along to blackened thrash doom death metal
Even the specialist styles
Like shanties or yodeling or Christian rock
Sit proudly alongside pop music and rock and roll when I take stock
I’ve enjoyed all sorts of music
From every time and place
So why when someone is playing panpipes do I want to punch their face?

Rock N Roll
Rock your body.
Rock your soul.
Rock yourself on the floor.
Like never before.
Dancing in spotlight.
Make it Rock N Roll.
Sing like nobody else.
Bring out your soul.
Music is great.
Music makes you say.
Music makes you happy.
Music makes you free.

Encore!
Rock music is nothing like country, jazz, pop, reggae, and classical.
Rock music is something that is like a band in your head
Rock music is nothing like every other kind of music.
That now has gotten an encore.
Rock Music is something that real people can only hear;
Rock music does not allow posers to hear the real sound.
Rock music may have head bangers, stoners,
Even one of those old guys with the sharpie-d walking canes in the corner.
But Rock music allows only real followers.
Rock music is much like age;
Even though many bands may be getting paid in age, they will still be remembered.
As real Rock Musicians.
Some musicians have not made the best choices,
But does that mean they do not get their fame?
No, even though it may have not been the right way; they will always have
Their Rock band,
Having an encore in their musically fusion heads.

Feel The Music
What is music and why is it here?
Music is made for the ear.
To be made and played for many of decades.
To be embraced by different cultures and race,
Music
the heart of man
Only it seems now only a few understand
Music.
The upbeat the down beat the chords the rhythm it plays.
Exchanging and changing forever.
Music.
Not one man can take the responsibility for making the music the music made us.
You have to trust in the
Music
Classical Jazz, Swing, Country everything it brings.
Music.
Although music has a lot of names it will always remain the same
Music will always change.
The dramatic character of a story.
It will always end with the final glory.
Because of its graceful authority
music
Don't make music that embraces no heart
Make music that shall shine threw the dark.
Music lives every where.
Creating our atmosphere.
Our world circulates by the beat the music makes
So listen to the music see what is hidden in side.
Listen to the music shhhh! Close your eyes.
Unknown music is everywhere.
So open your ears stand clear
music it is taking over so beware!
There is no escaping
There is no replacing
There is no other so there is no point of looking further my brotha.
Without music where would I be?
It took sweet love music to create me.
The songs of Al green and Barry White stimulated the body so it is no fighting the
Music
Because the music doesn't fight u it hugs u kisses u loves u
Cause the music only can be true
'Lets make music', I've it heard said
But making music is not just in the bed
Music is made threw gospel beats threw the songs of rappers through the notes of the streets.
So let's make music my friend.
A sad moment in your life
'The rain is on your window pane' as Mary J. explains threw a song.
What more do I have to say music is made to be played.
There is no escapade
It is understood music is what it should be
Music is what it will always be
Okay! U understand now so read the music
That sings threw me
Read the music it is written so clearly
read my music
Make your own beat
So let me ask u do u feel the music that I've Just made
Do you feel the music running through your veins
Do you feel the music in my poetry song
Well, if u don't feel the music then something is wrong
Cause music are written in these words
just listen hush! Cause music will be heard

Sway
I sway with the music
its beat thrumming
thrumming
beating so loud
i can feel it in my heart
my feet stamp
my hands twirl
i sway
with the music
the words are lost
in the music
all around me
bodies swaying
like me
i sway
i close my eyes
and feel the beat
pulsing
the lights in my eyelids
glow
a myriad of colors
i sway
twirling
spinning
rocking
stampi ng
swaying
with the music
the beat
i sway
i open my eyes
to see
i am alone
on the dance floor
one minute
in shocked silence
everyone staring
i close my eyes
and
i sway

Drift Away
Day after day Im more confused
Still I look for the sun through the pouring rain
You know thats a game that I hate to lose
And Im feeling the strain
Aint it a shame
Give me the beat boys and free my soul
I want to get lost in your rock and roll and drift away
Give me the beat boys and free my soul
I want to get lost in your rock and roll and drift away
Beginning to think that Im wasting time
I dont understand the things I do
World outside looks so unkind
And Im counting on you to carry me through
Oh give me the beat boys and free my soul
I want to get lost in your rock and roll and drift away
I said give me the beat boys and free my soul
I want to get lost in your rock and roll and drift away
When my mind is free
You know that a melody can move me
And when Im feeling blue
The guitars coming through to soothe me
Thanks for the joy that youve given me
I want you to know I believe in your song
Rhythm and rhyme and harmony
Youve helped me along making me strong
Oh give me the beat boys and free my soul
I want to get lost in your rock and roll and drift away
I said give me the beat boys and free my soul
I want to get lost in your rock and roll and drift away
Give me the beat boys and free my soul
I want to get lost in your rock and roll and drift away all right
I said give me the beat boys and free my soul
(oh now its time to come on and free my soul)
I want to get lost in your rock and roll and drift away
(were gonna drift away)
Why dont you give me the beat boys and free my soul
(take me, take me, take me away)
I want to get lost in your rock and roll and drift away
(oh)
I said give me the beat boys and free my soul
I want to get lost in your rock and roll and drift away

Rock Your Heart Out
Got the devil in you
Got the devil in me
Play a dangerous tune
Come on and dance with thee
You got to throw your fists up
Shout your mouth out
Beat the walls down
Got to freak out
Rock your little
Rock your little
Rock your little heart out
(you gotta rock it on down)
Got everything you want
Got everything you need
Dont worry about the cost
Just sell your soul to me
You gotta bring the house down
Beat the drums loud
Bleed your life dry
Climb on lets fly
Rock your little
Rock your little
Rock your little heart out
Rock, rock your little heart out
(rock it on down)
(cut your teeth on this)
You gotta put your foot down
Beat your chest hard
Blow your brains out
Feel her shout loud
You gotta rock your heart out
Rock your heart out
Rock, rock your little heart out
(you rocket of love)
