Job's forthright indictment of the injustice of this world is surely right. The ways of the world are weird and much more unpredictable than either scientists or theologians generally make things look.

Weird World
It's a Weird World...Weird World
Hey, hey, hey!
The sun is over the city but it's an orange day
There is reason for looking up but I'm feeling down
You see Ive got to catch a plane, won't buy a ticket
'Cause it's hard to just stop when you're spinning around
Its a weird world dont you know it?
Its a weird world and it wont slow down
Its a weird world no matter how you roll it
Hey, hey, hey! Sweet baby
Theres a way
Just stand up and fight it
Hey, hey, hey!
Never give up, and dont let it wear out (now)
Your love
It's a weird world...Yeah
Sent a message to a G.I.
In the desert
Said thank you man for bringing another dawn
Back here it's her and me
And we're having our first baby
And he's out there taking them on (on)
Its a weird world and I know you know it
Its a weird world and it wont slow down
Its a weird world no matter how you roll it
Hey, hey, hey! Sweet baby
Theres a way
Just stand up and fight it
Hey, hey, hey!
Never give up, dont let it wear out (now)
Your love
Im closing my eyes but Im starting to see
While hes looking at you, shes looking at me
The only thing he does is just keep me away from you
Sure part of this place would cheer if I died
Dont let them take away your beautiful smile
Take away your beautiful smile
Take away your beautiful smile
Hey, hey, hey! Sweet baby
Theres a way
Just stand up and fight it (Yeah, ye-ah!)
Hey, hey, hey! (sweet baby!) Sweet baby
Theres a way
For you to decide it
Hey, hey, hey!
Never give up, dont let it wear out (now)
Your love
Hey, hey, hey!
Its a weird world dont you know it?
Hey, hey, hey!
Its a weird world dont you know it?
Hey, hey, hey!
Oh, its a weird world dont you know it?
Hey, hey, hey...

Weird
I like the way you never sleep
And the promises you never keep
I like the way you say hello
And make it sound like time to go
I like the scar above your lip
The way you let your feelings slip
But they are never what you feel
Oh so fake but completely real
Dont you think its weird
Weirder then weird
Thats what you are
Thats what you are to be
What I like about you
Is what you like about me
Dont you think its weird
I like the rules that multiply
And make the good things
Pass you by
Standing here without a plan
Thats why your such a happy man
Dont you think its weird
Weirder then weird
Thats what you are
Thats what you are to be
What I like about you
Is what you like about me
Dont you think its 1,2
I wanna make some changes
I want my money back
I wanna start up with you
I wanna talk to strangers
I wanna be with you
But I just dont know
Where or When
Thats what you are
Thats what you are to be
What I like about you
Is what you like about me
Dont you think its weird
Weirder then weird
Thats what you are
Thats what you are to be
What I like about you
Is what you like about me
Dont you think its weird

You Gotta Make It Through The World
Well let them take you for a clown
And theyre bound to bring you down
You got to make it through the world if you can
Think theyre doing you wrong
But you got here on your own
You got to make it through the world if you can
I said if you can, if you can
You got to make it through the world if you can
I said if you can (oooh), if you can (lord)
You got to make it through the world if you can
Well you know what its all about
Nobody know you when youre down and out
You got to make it through the world if you can
Well talk about wrong and right
Youve got to make up your own mind
You got to make it through the world if you can
I said if you can (if you can) ooh, if you can (if you can)
You got to make it through the world if you can (if you can)
I said if you can (if you can) well if you can (if you can)
You got to make it through the world if you can (if you can)
Yeah let them take you for a clown
It will surely put you down
You got to make it through the world if you can (if you can)
Everybody talk about wrong and right
You got to make up your own mind about it
You got to make it through the world if you can (if you can)
Ooh! if you can (if you can) yeah! if you can (if you can)
You got to make it through the world if you can (if you can)
Yeah! if you can (if you can) if you can (if you can)
You got to make it through the world if you can (if you can)
Yeah I said if you can (if you can) lord if you can (if you can)
You got to make it through the world if you can (if you can)
I said you got to make through the world if you can (if you can)
I said you got to make through the world if you can (if you can)
I said you got to make through the world if you can (if you can)
You got to make it through the world if you can (if you can)
Make it through the world
Make it through the world (if you can)
Make it through the world
Make it through the world (if you can)
Make it through the world
Make it through the world (if you can)

Accusations are made directly to Rome about theologians from persons who are not theologians. Some of these accusations are anonymous. The local bishop should be the one to relate to theologians to determine orthodoxy.

It is, I think, particularly in periods of acknowledged crisis that scientists have turned to philosophical analysis as a device for unlocking the riddles of their field. Scientists have not generally needed or wanted to be philosophers.

Scientists are the easiest to fool. They think in straight, predictable, directable, and therefore misdirectable, lines. The only world they know is the one where everything has a logical explanation and things are what they appear to be. Children and conjurors - they terrify me. Scientists are no problem against them I feel quite confident.

Make The World Go Away
(words & music by hank cochran)
Make the world go away
Get it off my shoulder
Say the things we used to say
And make the world, make it go away
Do you remember when you loved me
Before the world took you away
Well if you do, then forgive me
And make the world, make it go away
Make the world go away
Get it off my shoulder
Say the things we used to say
And make the world, make it go away
Now Im sorry if I hurt you
Let me make it up to you day by day
And if you will please forgive me
And make the world, make it go away
Make the world go away
Get it off my shoulder
Say the things we used to say
And make the world, make it go away

In The Real World
(jennings/kerr)
In dreams we do so many things
We set aside the rules we know
And fly the world so high
In great and shining rings
If only we could always live in dreams
If only we could make of life
What, in dreams, it seems
But in the real world
We must say our goodbyes
No matter if the love will live
It will never die
In the real world
There are things that we cant change
And endings come to us
In ways that we cant rearrange
I love you, and you love me
But sometimes we must let it be
In the real world
In the real world
When we were dreaming heart to heart
I wish that we had stayed right there
For when the dreamers do awake
The dreams do disappear
In the real world
There are things that we cant change
And endings come to us
In ways that we cant rearrange
I love you, and you love me
But sometimes we must let it be
In the real world
In the real world

Theologians
Theologians
They don't know nothing
About my soul
About my soul
I'm an ocean
An abyss in motion
Slow motion
Slow motion
Inlitterati lumen fidei
God is with us everyday
That illiterate light
Is with us every night
Theologians
That don't know nothing
About my soul
Oh they don't know
They thin my heart with little things
And my life with change
Oh in so many ways
I find more missing every day
Theologians
I'm going away
Where you will look for me
Where I'm going you cannot come
No one's ever gonna take my life from me
I lay it down
A ghost is born
A ghost is born
A ghost is born
I'm an ocean
I'm all emotion
I'm a cherry ghost
Cherry ghost
Hey I'm a cherry ghost
A cherry ghost

Sonnet: God Is One and Only Omnipotent One
All things take care of themselves in this world;
No worrying changes course of anything;
A few things occurring sound rather weird;
God will decide the fate of poor or king!
Even the freak of things is as per laws;
Man can't decipher many things on earth;
Through Nature, God controls all things as Boss!
God permits abortions and test-tube birth!
Why God allows unfairness to thrive then?
His thoughts are not like man's but much diff'rent;
Our ways are not like His and of heaven;
Man tries to be foolish, belligerent!
The Master of the universe is Lord
Of things, unseen and seen, and keeps His word!

Circumspection
Many things i see concern me about people
I see people do stupid things
I see people do things to help the world
I see people do many things that someday they will not be proud of
Concerns come from the stupid things i see people do
If there a thousands of people doing things that i see
The world is a lot worse than what i thought
But other things i see cause me to see the good side of things
People that i see do acts of kindness make me see the world in other ways
But from what i see some people do i am filled with concern.

If I Ever Leave This World Alive
If I ever leave this world alive
I'll thank for all the things you did in my life
If I ever leave this world alive
I'll come back down and sit beside your
feet tonight
Wherever I am you'll always be
More than just a memory
If I ever leave this world alive
If I ever leave this world alive
I'll take on all the sadness
That I left behind
If I ever leave this world alive
The madness that you feel will soon subside
So in a word don't shed a tear
I'll be here when it all gets weird
If I ever leave this world alive
So when in doubt just call my name
Just before you go insane
If I ever leave this world
Hey I may never leave this world
But if I ever leave this world alive
She says I'm okay; I'm alright

In the sixties, the world was normal and people took acid to make it weird. Nowadays the world is weird and people take prozac to make it normal.
It's the generally accepted privilege of theologians to stretch the heavens, that is the Scriptures, like tanners with a hide.

Ins And Outs
Into…
Depthless grief,
boundless wonder
Ways our world
is torn asunder
Empty hearts
Lack of feeling
Ways our world
Is In need of healing
Out of…
Open minds,
closed to sorrow
Ways our world
greets tomorrow
Out of Endless hope
Out of Keen anticipation
Into Ways our world
Can have salvation

Unpredictable You
Written by c. jackson & marvin yancy
I never know what youre thinking
I never could read your mind
I never know when Ill see you again
You might stop by but any time
You tell me were going out on the town
And you wont be ready when you call
Sometimes you come later than you said you would
Bless your heart, sometimes you dont come at all
(unpredictable you) ha, ya (never know what you do) oh, you
(unpredictable you) but I love you, yes I do (yes I do)
You change like the weather, ha
And youre always on the go, woh, woh, woh
Youre like a wheel of fortune, but when youre gonna stop nobody knows
But I cant help but love you, you, youre surely part of me
And if its gonna be like this forever, well, then Ill say just let it be, let it be
(unpredictable you) jive turkey (never know what youll do) yeah, yeah
(unpredictable you) but I love you, yes I do (yes I do)
I do, wooh, wooh, wooh, oh, love
Hoo, ah---, yeah---
(unpredictable) you change like the weather
(unreliable) see you whenever
(undependable) you never keep a promise
(unforgettable) but I love you, I love you
(unpredictable) you change like the weather
(unreliable) ha, see you whenever
(undependable) you never keep a promise
(unforgettable) but I love you, I love you, hoo
(unpreditable) baby, can you hear me?
(unreliable) oh, oh, oh
(undependable) undependable you
(unforgettable) unforgettable you
(unpredictable) unpredicable you
(unreliable) unreliable you
(undependable) undependable you
(unforgettable) baby, can you hear me?
(unpredictable) unpredictable you
(unreliable) unreliable you
(undependable) undependable you

This is a World of …
This is a world of hierarchy;
This is a world of inequality;
This is a world of curiosity;
This is a world of ignominy!
But
This is also a world of charity;
This is also a world of purity;
This is also a world of morality;
This is also a world of bravery!
This is a world of ‘haves’ and ‘have-nots’;
This is a world of rich versus the poor;
This is a world of the powerful versus the weak;
This is a world of the ‘well-to-do’ versus the ‘downtrodden’.
This is a world of joys and woes;
This is a world of friends and foes;
This is a world of sharing and greed;
This is a world of loving and hatred.
Yet,
This is a world of inter-dependency;
This is a world of wars for peace;
This is a world of thought for others;
This is a world of common good.
This is a world of aligning with Nature;
This is a world of realizing God;
This is a world of accepting God’s ways;
This is a world of futility.
Yet,
This is a world of dreams and realities;
This is a world of accomplishments and risks-taking;
This is a world of making the world a better place for all;
This is a world of loving brethren and brotherhood of nations.
This is a world of adultery;
This is a world of mastery;
This is a world of flattery;
This is a world of mystery!
So,
Let us rethink, amend our ways;
Let us toil with a purpose for the race;
Let us keep a smiling face;
Let us spend usefully, the rest of our days!

Sonnet: Praying Helps
I don’t know the cunning ways of the world;
I’ve delved in honesty and labor hard;
I don’t know the winning ways of the bold;
I’ve shelved my sinful ways and turned a bard.
I talk with God so frequently these days;
He knows my heart, its pangs and needs too well!
What can I do? Mystery enshrouds His ways;
He does those things that cannot give me Hell.
I know this world is too much for my head;
But worrying is of no use all the time;
Yet, praying fervently helps me instead;
The grace of God can make one’s life sublime.
My patience gives its verdict every time,
And gives me themes for yet another rhyme.

Right To The Ways & The Rules Of The World
Monsters that trinkle like cats in the night
The cosmic conceiver continues his plight
A war of the heavens, whats wrong and whats right
Right to the ways and the rules of the world
Right to the ways and the rules of the world
Spraying the children with incense and myrrh
The hopeless confessions of minds unsure
Spraying the children with incense and myrrh
Right to the ways and the rules of the world
Right to the ways and the rules of the world
I tried to come over and see you today
I tried to come over to want you to say
I wanted you say to come today
Right to the ways and the rules of the world
Right to the ways and the rules of the world
Mindlessly hoping she falls for their minds
Holding the sacraments, secrets unkind
Chewing the curdles of cream from the rain
Right to the ways and the rules of the world
Chewing the grits...
Right to the ways and the rules of the world
Monsters that tinkle, trinkle like the jams gone astray...
