Be sure your wisest words are those you do not say.

And to say that society ought to be governed by the opinion of the wisest and best, though true, is useless. Whose opinion is to decide who are the wisest and best?

The mystic rose
In ancient times
a warrior prince travelled to the East
to find the wisest man on earth.
Stars guided him
over uncharted terrain
to the court of Enoch
who counselled with the Almighty God.
Great and knowledgeable king,
point me the way
to find the most beautiful flower of all,
it’s called the mystic rose,
and like crystal its leaves glitters
in colours of blue, violet and ruby red
and its odour is more divine
than that of any other bloom.
Why do you need this spectre flower
the great wise king asked?
To win the heart of the girl that I desire
the prince proclaimed.
Where will I find the mystic rose?
The rich prince asked again
while his servants
brought great gifts to the wise king.
Enoch looked the prince in the eye
and said:
Somewhere in the depths
of your inner soul
lies the flower that you seek.
Without words the prince
studied the wise king
and thought about his words
without really comprehending.
The words were perplexing to the prince.
What is the mystic rose,
the prince asked at last
Its unconditional, self-sacrificing
and called perfect love
the wisest man said to him.

The elusion of words
The elusion of words
~
I wish to say
Those words which elude me
Those I sometimes forget to say
Or I find to frightening to speak
I may misuse those words
Allow them to betray my tongue
And live with that regret
~
I do not wish to cheapen them
In saying you are beautiful
That I love you deeply
I fear they may become clichés
That you discount them
As mere polite conversations
~
How may I express myself
To reveal the truth of my soul
Frightened by the idea of loss
That I may watch you slip away
That how happy you have made me
Is a way I’d almost forgotten
That I never thought I’d feel again
~
I may not be the wisest of men
I am humble enough to admit
That as much as I play with words
Those which still elude my tongue
Talk of this love I feel for you

The Scripture vouches Solomon for the wisest of men; and his proverbs prove him so, The seven wise men of Greece, so famous for their wisdom all the world over, acquired all that fame each of them by a single sentence, consisting of two or three words.
Perfect Throne
Mountains of words congregate to form an eruption,
Sentences let the sword of destruction have expansion.
Five words are written: luck, patience, wealth, modesty and adventure;
These five contain the pleasures offered by him - they are familiar.
Breath inhaled, spirit popped, love arranged, and scent displayed,
The encounter of a wise-man never dismayed.
His wisest attribute speaks highly of the throne
We trained by the justice of the alone.
His backbone never breaks, never takes
The inside of disbelief and betrayal, this never makes.

Wisdom Of The Ages
(words & music by giant - baum - kaye)
Listen, to the wisdom of the ages
Listen, to the words of many sages
Live each day, as if it were your last
Its written in the stars, your destiny is cast
And that hourglass, runs too fast no doubt
For the sands of time are running out
Listen, to the wisdom of the ages
These words, can be found in historys pages
Live each day, for happiness cant wait
And love while you may, but heed the hand of fate
If the finger points, its too late no doubt
For the sands of time, are running out
But the man who turns, and escapes somehow
Is the wisest of men
And to such a man, Id bow

Salt Is.... Just Salty
There's so much in this world I cannot explain
The greatest scholars try in vain
Not because the knowledge is so loft
Not because we're growing soft
Nor because it's abstract
But in fact
Quite the opposite
Because some words there's just not a definition that can fit
The problem doesn't come from the objects
It's the simplicity that does perplex
Even the wisest of us all
Our logic does fall
Because it is so far below
How do we define the? What about slow
There's salt, and memory, and even know
What do we know if we don't know such words
People complain of jargon, taxonomic names for birds
But they can't even define what's simple
With that problem, man we got our hands full
We just cop out
Said that salt is salty, the is the, we live without
A real definition, but I think it's those words that are most profound
Belief, God Truth the list goes on, but this is where true wisdom is found
There's the trivial we can seek define
Or there's the words that matter most which will define
Us, it's those words I think that we should not just verbalize
But instead simply realize
That the definition is known by experience
It's indescribable because they're just that amazing
Our inexperience
Of what's unimportant is as tragic as not knowing
Our own Father, and the pursuit of other things to define us
Is as trivial as looking for a definition of truth.

A Book of Wordsworth
Thy talks on God, and glories of His fields
Are woven into my unworthy past.
The fragments of thy thoughts my memory yields
Grow dim at times, and yet they seem to last.
This little book of verses, covered red,
A gift to me, a gift of quiet rest,
Is filled with soothing words that thou hast said;
Some chosen thoughts, the wisest and the best;-
Sweet songs and gleanings from that inward eye;
The noise of bees the wind in daffodils;
The splendour of the sea and of the sky;
And Nature standing on the silent hills.
They words, thy thoughts, for me can never cease
To have that flavour of eternal peace.

Moving Stones
Smiling faces, hearts are numb
kindness in words as parrots are trained
Love is exhibited , mind is reasoning for gain
Sympathy in demand, goals are well defined
Designed wisest of creation, to beautify the land
All are racing, purpose unknown
The day is not far of, You may wonder
where is my created men
One day will see, only stones and
stones are moving around

Words
Words on this paper
Words in my head
Words while I'm texting
Computing
Unsaid
Words between people
Words on the phone
Words upon words
Even when I'm alone
Words from the Bible
I question
Don't mesh
Words from pornography
Making them flesh
Words with flat letters
Written in black
Good words and bad words
You cannot take back
Words that are shallow
Words that are deep
When they're too many
They put me to sleep
Words that I'm writing
And rhyming you read
Whatever I'm saying
There's prolly no need
Words from the alphabet
Words that can't be
When you are blind
And it's Braile that you see
Words that are worthless
And said on the fly
My words or your words
Are most likely lies
Words in a sentence
Wise words or fair
The only words earnest
Are those said in prayer

He is the wisest man who does not think himself so.
Vanity, Vanity
Vanity, Vanity, all is vanity; words expressed to you and me,
All our labors, here on earth, and what ultimately is its worth?
All men are born to just die, a common destiny for you and I,
And all this life is meaningless, words Solomon uttered to us.
The wisest man to ever live, parting words that he would give,
To all of the people of his age, recorded on Scripture’s page,
And even for our age to read; words of wisdom we can heed,
As we reflect, also, on our life, in the blessings and the strife.
He speaks of life upon earth, through to death, from his birth,
Of all the events in between, as we are in this temporal scene,
And just how empty it can be, when peoples discount eternity,
And that lasting Hope, God gives, to every soul that still lives.
Friend, Ecclesiastes is the book, if one desires to take a look,
At other things Solomon said; wisdom, many souls have read,
While he draws conclusions to, life lived daily, by me and you,
On the planet, of God’s Design, Who changes not, in our time.
With everything Solomon knew, what is a conclusion he drew?
In all times consider The Creator, this world’s Lord and Savior,
Fear God and keep His Law, as He alone, can save one’s soul,
And use your life to glorify, The Lord God, Who reigns on high.

The Things You Say
Words
Said in a careless huff as you walked away
Hurt
Words
Said in a whispered excited voice
Caused electricity in me
Words
Said in a caring loving way
Were a balm for the wound in me
Words
Said in an angry menacing way
Felt like daggers thrown at me
Words
Said like sugary sweet morning due
Caused my knees to go weak
Words
Words, Words, Words..
Your words have so much power over me
Words
Said like a magic spell
Have enchanted me
Words
You throw around those words so carelessly
Do you know
Words
How they have been affecting and inflicting me..
