Cessation of work is not accompanied by cessation of expenses.

For I never have seen, and never shall see, that the cessation of the evidence of existence is necessarily evidence of the cessation of existence.

Wading Birds
Cranes and Herons fly in the twilight sky
A loon idles at a riverbank,
Full Moon peeps like a new coin to illuminate the dark side of life
And the ferryman shouts; 'Nobody wants to cross the river.'
* That both I and you have had to travel and trudge through the long round is owing to our not discovering, not penetrating the four truths. What four?
They are the noble truth of suffering, the noble truth of the origin of suffering, the noble truth of the cessation of suffering, and the noble truth of the way leading to the cessation of suffering. [The Buddha]

Tall Pines (the last seconds of a hung)
Tall pines
huge excuses
terrible endless cries
remorse
and then silence
cessation
continuous cessation
Tall pines
infinite shame
undefined cries
needs
passionate
last flick of passion
last spark of a need
passionate again
to wave goodbuy
with a blooded tear running from his closed eye
to prove his innocence
to prove
his regret.
forgiveness
and an innocent soul
but bloodstained hands
incessant cessation
Tall pines
and strained innocence
unexcused cried
unfounded words
unfounded screams
and laughs
that penetrate his chest
inflated with half-finished pride
and remorse
regret
that make the pines twisting around
like he's intoxicated
like he can lose his shelf again
for a while
"Pray for forgiveness my son
pray to rest your soul in god's arms"
Strained innocence
Stained innocence
and a sarcastic giggle
"father, I am alone"
Tall pines
and the hung cries
tall pines
and they wave to him goodbuy
as they laugh or fearlessly smile
he cries
he dies
under the small tall pines.

There comes a pause, for human strength will not endure to dance without cessation; and everyone must reach the point at length of absolute prostration.

Those who have the strength and the love to sit with a dying patient in the silence that goes beyond words will know that this moment is neither frightening nor painful, but a peaceful cessation of the functioning of the body.

Disambiguation
Certainly it is veracity, not prevarication
In this life there is much pace but less variation
For Hamlet 'To be or not to be' is a question
For Time there is no cessation
Well in people's lineaments there is no sensation
For you it can be ne-plus-ultra
For me it is verbal detoxication
In this awfully shaky world
Who has gotten a heartfelt adoration

The expansion of tobacco cessation centers is an important part of our historic and continuing effort to help smokers quit. The expansion of these centers will give even more New Yorkers the help they need to quit once and for all.

Cessation of animation
Wax exhausted, or being blown out
By wind or the mouth, the candle will die.
Flesh wearing out, or being eaten
By accidents or germs, man will die.
The external stress is the cause of death,
Be it to the candle or to the human.
Death of flame is dispersion of heat.
Death of life is cessation of animation

Death Series 5 - Death IS
Death is the irreversible cessation of life.
Death is a complete change in the status of a living entity.
Death is a change of essential characteristics.
Death IS, Death WAS, Death WILL BE,
for Death IS Death, as an end to itself.

Questions from a Bi-Polar freak...
Why the rage? Why the burden?
I can dropp it all without a second thought
except to linger and spread word of handsome things
Why the hunger? Why the coal?
I can light it all up with my sardonic self.
and laugh at lit shadows on the bathroom wall
I want to die sometimes. Is that normal?
Or is it wondering about what is beyond?
I am not faithful. Only curious.
I want cessation sometimes. I want no war.
No haggled thoughts or ponderance on who I was
I want ashes spread and gone
But is there hope for me and what I represent?
I wonder sometimes at the fog.
Where did the happy childhood go?

Silver Trails
By the moon
I drink you again.
The night is trembling;
ruffles the colossal tears.
The terrible ache of the
illegitimate mercy. I am
not accepting any poem
half-dead under my pen.
The invisible force, bribing
the tears was a grace
uncalled for. I am going to forget
the date of my cessation.
It was a false peace of the womb.
There was no banality
in sending the message.
Death has no other name.

More on tattoos (pun intended)
Moron tattoos and the financial benefits thereof
One should get one's kids tattooed
When they're very young and slim
I know that declaration, on the face of it
might seem kind'a funny
But as those kids grow up
into much fatter skins
So grow the tattoos without cessation
And I might say, without being "punny"
That, without the slightest exertion
Nor any further financial dispensation
one ends up getting much, much,
Muuuuch more for one's money

Love For All
Love is like the sea, touching every shore,
Surrounding all as hen would, to its chicks,
Its water reaches, even to the core,
Of all the islands that every wave licks;
Love of mine is thus for humanity,
Caring unselfishly for creation,
As limitless as been, infinity,
With no hint of a pause or cessation;
Divine Providence laid down the basics,
For love never bound, by things, material,
In compassion, it's the foremost classics,
Never earthly, but rather, ethereal;
…….If love of mine be such, and no other,
…….Why can't anyone become my brother?

Flowering Of The Thought
Belonging
to unbelonging
was becoming a method
exploring the path.
In the backyard unpleasant fumes
were rising.
Nocturnal swoop of enlightment,
clearly becomes a festival
of yellow death.
Who was hiding the truth?
Flowering of the thought in sky
ripens cessation of grief.
Slopes and summits,
bring tears in eyes.
Solace of ancestral home
was gone. Bold ceilings were hung by ungodly fears.
Wet hands lift the body of past,
classical future was gleaming slowly.

The Sleep
The sleep is natural to many
But it denies itself to so many
Sleep is calmness within
When ego rests in The Self
Sleep pervades into
Inner recesses of consciousness
And the awareness recedes
The sleep is silence
To happenings
Within and without of the body
Conscious but unaware
The sleep is the experience of the Self
And The Self is the sleep’s seer
Guide and terminator
The sleep is cessation of
Mental activities within
And is free from interference of self-consciousness
Is tonic to mental ailments and malfunctions
The sleep is the bliss, the peace
And the tranquility of mind
