But an innovation, to grow organically from within, has to be based on an intact tradition, so our idea is to bring together musicians who represent all these traditions, in workshops, festivals, and concerts, to see how we can connect with each other in music.

If you're going to use standards as criteria for signing musicians, you can sign thousands. If you're going to use some sort of conceptual interpretation that's based on the tradition of those standards, but is trying to move away from it, you're down to about 10 people or so.

In this era it's harder for musicians to get together. Back in the '80s, we were all at the clubs, you ran into people all the time. Now, everybody's kind of in their own room with their computers. I use making an album as an opportunity to connect with musicians.

While no tradition coincides with experience, every tradition is essentially unique and valuable. While all traditions are of value, none is finally binding.

I am clothes
I am clothes
Respect my struggle
For decency
To blend in with the folks
That no one can deny
Ones that I can have an exchange with
In markets, workshops, classes, fairs and concerts
People who just want healthy happiness, prosperity and wisdom
To continue their lives.

Identity of a person
Identity of a person
Identity signifies complexity
Identity identifies with reality
Identity is the bearer of all vanity
How does a person identify with identity?
You define yourself based on what?
They say, they say
You’re kind or moral based on what?
Or
You’re a genius and shrewd based on what?
Or
You make the perfect lover, look for no other
They say, they say
You’re strong without a thought it may not last long
Or
You’ve skills since with a record you run up high bills
Or
You are shy but no one ever talks to you or says hi
Or
You never give up because right now you are on top
They say, they say
You are generous or gregarious when all you are is conscious
Or
You’re innovative yet not the originator of the idea conceived
What are the facts?
That makes your identity intact
When change on identity has the last impact?

Encore!
Rock music is nothing like country, jazz, pop, reggae, and classical.
Rock music is something that is like a band in your head
Rock music is nothing like every other kind of music.
That now has gotten an encore.
Rock Music is something that real people can only hear;
Rock music does not allow posers to hear the real sound.
Rock music may have head bangers, stoners,
Even one of those old guys with the sharpie-d walking canes in the corner.
But Rock music allows only real followers.
Rock music is much like age;
Even though many bands may be getting paid in age, they will still be remembered.
As real Rock Musicians.
Some musicians have not made the best choices,
But does that mean they do not get their fame?
No, even though it may have not been the right way; they will always have
Their Rock band,
Having an encore in their musically fusion heads.

It just seem like musicians want to sell a few records and put out a perfume line, and I think it's so sad that there are so many musicians who don't want to change the world... Music has been so much more.

A lot of musicians aren't proud; they'll do other work, just to be able to play music. I guess that's the way it's always going to be - musicians will have to suffer to a certain degree in order to obtain their outlet.

Is It Just the Image
Which one of these traditions,
Seem more defended?
Is it deceit or delusion?
With the state of the economy,
Thrown in as an afterthought.
You know...
Those thoughts that come after,
Reality is addressed.
With little purpose considered,
As a notable priority.
False impressions are kept intact.
Fantasized lives that are not coming back...
Are given forums and empathized speeches.
Only a grandmother knitting from the third row,
Would appreciate this flow of debated pudding.
Which one of these traditions,
Seem more defended?
Is it deceit or delusion?
Or is it just the image...
Needing the most protection!

Why Those Battles Between Them Persist Without End
I am not one to analyze or bring to judgement,
The misdeeds done by those now dead.
Or correct with facts those deceits done,
To shed bright light upon that which has been said.
There is nothing in it for me,
To declare a victory.
However,
I am one to speak from my own experiences...
About those implications that were fed to devastate.
And reason and causes of those effects,
That have left divisions needing mending...
From an implementing by those dead,
To have those they disliked...
Tossing without sleep in their beds at night.
A healing from wrongs to make them right,
Has to take place to stop needless fights.
And what is there to gain to maintain conflicts?
By the ones living unable to comprehend...
Why those battles between them persist without end.
I am not one to analyze or bring to judgement,
The misdeeds done by those now dead.
Or correct with facts those deceits done,
To shed bright light upon that which has been said.
There is nothing in it for me,
To declare a victory.
'Why are you fighting?
And what purpose does it serve? '
~Because it's...
Because it is a,
Well...
Because! ~
And there is absolutely nothing in it for you,
To continue blindly doing those things you do...
Because of tradition?
What is your definition of that tradition?
And those living to defend it?
Why can't you respond for a meaning of it to mention.
Or know where to begin.
Since many traditions held today...
Have proven to make little if any sense!
To declare what is your tradition?
To maintain one's right to remain ignorant?
'Lower your weapons.
I'm just asking you a question.'

BBC Proms
To be a part of the BBC Proms season,
There are several extremely good reasons.
The majestic building: London’s Royal Albert Hall,
Is one of the greatest concert venues of them all.
Each Season, people flock through its many doors.
Different types of music they have come to explore.
The BBC Proms season attracts audiences young and old.
For this great music festival, a shining torch people always hold.
It gives musicians the chance to showcase the amazing art
Of talented composers from Mahler through to Mozart.
People get the chance to hear works old and new.
By the famous works, especially, the fans are wooed.
Singers and musicians from all over the world,
Come together to take part in this musical pearl.
For nearly two whole months, there are concerts every day.
It really is the world’s greatest celebration of classical music. Yay!
Ladies and gentlemen dressed in their smart attire,
Come to watch musicians, soloists and choirs.
Every year, the musical proceedings simply must,
Be resided over by Sir Henry Wood’s bronze bust.
The final night is world famous for its electric atmosphere.
The sound of music and people singing is what you will hear.
To Elgar’s Pomp and Circumstance march, they bob up and down,
All you can see is happy, smiling faces and never a single frown.
People dressed in red, white and blue, the colours of our land,
Experience much enjoyment and the whole event is simply grand.
To the music, concertgoers wave their Union Jacks in time.
They sing along and, by heart, they know every single line.
At the end, the orchestra give a much welcomed encore.
It is always a great pleasure and never ever a chore.
On the Last Night of the Proms, there is much cheer
Signalling the end of the Season for yet another year.
