Push and Pull

It is hard to keep it clean,
When you push and pull.
Or acting happy when feeling mean,
When you push and pull.
And people stand around just to see one weep.
When you push and pull.
And when you say 'hello' they don't even speak.
When you push and pull.

You might see Bo Peep having some trouble with her sheep,
When you push and pull.
You might see Mary and her lambs giving Bo Peep creeps.
When you push and pull.
You might see Humpty Dumpty crawling up a wall.
When you push and pull.
You might see Perter and The Wolf eating chips at a local mall.
When you push and pull.

Ain't nothing easy,
When you try to keep your feet from sinking...
Deep!
And with no sleep.

And they push bull,
When you push and pull.
And they push bull,
When you push and pull.

Push Me, Pull Me

I had a false belief
I thought I came here to stay
Were all just visiting
All just breaking like waves
The oceans made me, but who came up with love?
Push me, pull me, push me, or pull me out
Push me, pull me, or pull me out {2x}
So if there were no angels, would there be no sin?
You better stop me before I begin
But let me say: if I behave, can you arrange a spacious hole in the ground
Somewhere nice, make it nice
Where the land meets high tide
Push me, pull me, or pull me out
Push me, pull me {2x}
Like a cloud dropping rain
Im discarding all thought
Ill dry up, leaving puddles on the ground
Im like an opening band for the sun
Push me, pull me {6x}
Ive had enough, said enough, felt enough, Im fine, still in it

Little Rachel

By jim byfield
You dont need no high i.q.
To get right down and sing the blues.
If youre down, heres what to do;
Me and my guitar will sing for you.
Oh, little rachel, oh.
Oh, little rachel, oh.
Oh, little rachel, oh.
Oh, little rachel, oh.
I got a box and an old whisk broom.
We gonna rock around the room.
When my guitar plays this tune,
We gonna dance to the light of the moon.
Chorus
What you feel, that aint no jive.
The get down sound makes you feel alive.
Chorus
Push it, little rachel, push it.
Push it, little rachel, push it.
Pull it, little rachel, pull it.
Pull it, little rachel, pull it.

Death of an Old Carriage Horse

I was a harness horse,
Constrained to travel weak or strong,
With orders from oppressing force,
Push along, push along.
I had no space of rest,
And took at forks the roughest prong,
Still by the cruel driver pressed,
Push along, push along.
Vain strove the idle bird,
To charm me with her artless song,
But pleasure lingered from the word,
Push along, push along.

The order of the day
Was push, the peal of every tongue,
The only word was all the way,
Push along, push along.

Thus to my journey's end,
Had I to travel right or wrong,
'Till death my sweet and favored friend,
Bade me from life to push along.

Im Your Gun

Im dressed in black
Im a heart attack
And my draw is lightning quick
If youre looking for a man with
Magic hands
I can really do the trick
And if you see me on the street
And youre burnin from the heat
Theres a fire down below
You be the target on the bed
Ill be shootin hot lead
Let me take control
Youre a scared little girl in this
Big, bad town
So easy to sink, so easy to drown
Pull my trigger, I get bigger
Then Im lots of fun
Im your gun
Im your gun, gun, gun
Bite my bullet
Push and pull it
Tell me Im the one
Im your gun
Im your gun, gun, gun
Hold on steady, always ready,
Yeah
Well, Im as hard as they come
Im a hit and run
Im a pistol packin boy
Better walk real slow
Im on the edge, yknow
And Im easily annoyed
If somethings giving you trouble
Ill be there on the double
Just call me on the line
Ive got a muscle I can flex
Itll fog your little specs
Till you think youre going blind
I know these streets like the scars
On my back
And I stay as loaded as this gun
On my back
Pull my trigger, I get bigger
Then Im lots of fun
Im your gun
Im your gun, gun, gun
Bite my bullet
Push and pull it
Tell me Im the one
Im your gun
Im your gun, gun, gun
Squeeze it tighter
Aim and fire, yeah
Hold on steady, always ready,
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Pull my trigger, I get bigger
Then Im lots of fun
Im your gun
Im your gun, gun, gun
Rub my barrel
Straight and narrow
Dress up like a nun
Im your gun
Im your gun, gun, gun
Load my clip and lick your lips
This is gettin fun
Im your gun
Im your gun, gun, gun
Hold on steady
Always ready, yea

Pull Away

Ohhhh
Pull
Pull away
Away from everyone
Is there some way out?
Somewhere you can go?
Oh no no no
We dont have the answers, sailed a thousand years, thats on your own
Is there one thin resolution?
Are you cold?
Is there everything
I said, is everything they push upon you?
Still I watch you pull away
Away
Away
Away from everything, you pull away
Wont you come on, pull
Pull away
Away from everyone
Is there no way out?
No where left to roam?
Oh no no no
We dont have your answers
Youre a thousand years, still on your own
But theres one thin resolution
Are you cold?
Is there everything?
I said, is everything they push upon you?
Still I watch you pull away
You pull away
You pull away
Away from everyone
You pull
Pull away
You pull away
Oh wont you heal my broken hands, they lay upon you
Wrap my soul around
Still I watch you pull away
Heal my broken hands, they lay upon you
Wrap my soul around you
Still I watch you pull away
Drain your tears
Oh no, drain your tears
But you pull, pull away
Away from everyone
Pull, pull away
Away from everyone
Is there somewhere, somewhere you can go?
No, theres no nowhere
Nowhere left to run
Still you pull, you pull away
Away
Away
Away from everything
You pull,
You pull away
You pull away
Oh wont you heal my broken hands, they lay upon you
Wrap my soul around
Still I watch you pull away
Heal my broken hands, they lay upon you
Wrap my soul around you
Still I watch you pull away
You pull away
You pull away
You pull away
Away from everyone
You pull away
You pull away
You pull away

Even When All The Roses Are Gone

Its on the tip of my tongue. Wait, wait im not done. Even when all the roses are gone. I will still know the one. They say live life while im young. A constant sensation that burns. Its another heart attack. Here you go a piece to you and you and you. Its on the tip of my tongue. Wait, wait im not done. Even when all the roses are gone. I still know the one. Try hiding it, try denying it, but i can feel it. The constant fighting. Emotional war fare. Tension high. Here another disguise ware it and swear to it. I see the problem. I see the aggravation. Im not an easy catch. Push, push, come on just push. Its on the tip of my tongue. Wait, wait im not done. Even when all the roses are gone. I still will know the one. The one. I will, will still know the one.

You Dont Pull No Punches But You Dont Push The River

(da da da....)
When you were a child, you were a tomboy
Gimme soul satisfaction
Way back in shady lane
Do you remember darlin?
And its the woman in you, and its the woman in you
Gimme soul satisfaction
And it takes the child in you to know
The woman an you are one
Were goin out in the country to get down to the real soul,
I mean the real soul, people,
Were goin out in the country, get down to the real soul
Were gettin out to the west coast
Shining our light into the days of bloomin wonder
Goin as much with the river as not, as not, yeah, yeah
An Im goin as much with the river as not
Yeah, yeah, right, yeah
Blake and the eternals oh standin with the sisters of mercy
Looking for the veedon fleece, yeah
William blake and the eternals oh standin with the sisters of mercy
Looking for the veedon fleece, yeah
You dont pull no punches, but you dont push the river
You dont pull no punches, and you dont push the river
You dont pull no punches, and you dont push the river, no, no
Goin as much with the river as not
Were goin out in the west, down to the cathedrals
Were goin out in the west (alright), down to the beaches
And the sisters of mercy, behind the sun
Oh behind the sun
And william blake and the sisters of mercy looking for the veedon fleece,
Yeah
You dont pull no punches, goin west, goin as much with the river as not
With the river as not, with the river as not, goin as much,
Goin as much with the river as not, no, ah
You dont pull no punches, and you dont push the river, no
You dont pull no punches, but you dont push the river, no
You dont pull no punches, but you dont push the river, no
You dont pull no punches, but you dont push the river
And we was contemplating baba, william blake and the eternals
Goin down to the sisters of mercy
Looking for the veedon fleece
Looking for the veedon fleece
Looking for the veedon fleece
Looking for the veedon fleece
You dont pull no punches, but ya, you dont push the river
You dont pull no punches, but ya, you dont push the river, no
You dont pull no punches, but ya, you dont push the river
You dont push the river, you dont push the river

Bury Me Where I Fall

Comr brush away these fists and i will tell you
Everything
I hope you know how long I'm lacking
So carve my name and take me to the strength udner it all
Then bury me where I fall
Push and Pull like sex machines, like sex machines
Push and pull like sex machines, like sex machines.
Qustioning if I should even be here
I won't make that same mistake
And taking to bed all these things that I hate
I will complain, I will complain
A bleeding light has made us all just want to wash away
and best believe I want it blinding
Under it all I bacl out holes and glorify disguise
still draining me from all this strife
Push and pull like sex machines, like sex machines
Push and pull like sex machines, like sex machines
Questioning if I should even be here
I won't make that same mistake
And taking to bed all these things that I hate
I will complain, I will complain
Stare at the sun
Staring at the sun...
Questioning if I should even be here
I won't make that same mistake
And taking to bed all these things that I hate
I will complain, I will complain
...Bury me where I fall.

Energy, Synergy

feel the coming of this energy
rushing like blood pushing itself
inside our veins
now blue has turned to red
and you blush
with life

fill yourself with energy
push, push, push
pull, pull, pull

work things out
for the better
hop, hop, hop
hope, hope, hope,

make things for the better
excel, compete with yourself
another greater self today
than yesterday that you
always leave behind

you stand up now
you are a man of energy
yet you are not alone

you touch another hand
feel another body
diffuse, transfuse,
surge, mix, diffuse

you synergise
in this universality of this stream of humanity
in the ocean of our vast space
we become
stronger

one world,
one universe
one humanity

Sonnet: The Tongue

Tongue, the muscle belly in the mouth’s floor!
That grandmothers used to narrate folklore;
With sensors to taste the food that we eat,
And speak fluently with neighbors who cheat.

The boneless tongue gives creatures satiety;
In misdemeanor, speaks words so nasty;
The tongue-tied man cannot speak out too well;
The one with a long tongue argues like hell.

The tongue can emit both a soothing word,
And also cut like a double-edged sword;
The tongue helps one to sing a sweet song,
And touch one’s nose-tip whenever too long.

The tongue can start a war or conclude it;
Some stars use it for their kissing habit.

Push

Step 1... step off to the dance floor
Step 1... step off to the dance floor
Push (hey) ((push up on it))
(good God)
Push - lord (push, yeah) ((push up on it))
Every time u get some
People wanna take it back
They rather see u on the run
Than see u get it like that
Every time they stop u
Change up like a sock
Every time they try 2 clock u
Tick more than they tock
Push I push
Dont let them pull u down, yeah
Push I push
Until u get 2 higher ground
Push
Ure never 2 young, never 2 old
Push
Dont stop until u go
Did u ever stop 2 wonder
Why u put another down?
No man should asunder
The joy that another man found
Maybe bout the business u was worried
Wasnt ever filed in your name
Maybe the cartridge u was playin
Dont fit in your video game
Push I push
Dont let them pull u down
Push I push
Until u get 2 higher ground
Push
Ure never 2 young, never 2 old, yeah
Push
Dont stop until u go, hey
(alright) I push (push) ((push up on it))
(push) I push (push, push, hey)
(push) (come on and push it now, hey push)
((push up on it)) (push) I push
Every time u get some push
People wanna take it back p-push
They rather see u on the run push
Than see u get it like that
Every time they stop u
Change up like a sock push
Every time they try 2 clock u push
U gotta tick more than they can tock
Push I push
Dont let them pull u down
Push I push
Until u get 2 higher ground (higher)
Push
Ure never 2 young, never 2 old, yeah
Push
Dont stop until u go
(no, dont) (push) I push
(push) I push
(push) I push
(push) I push
Did u ever stop 2 wonder (did u ever stop 2 wonder) (push)

I push for a beat that is greasy
Ill dis a beat if it teases
Mark this down as I state it...
I like my funk concentrated
The pop seem, hmmm, a little overrated
U sure can tell where were steppin
Theres some grease on the stage
Ooops, I just stepped in it... (push)
Circlin as we slide
The full stride for the ride
On a watered-down tip
We could never get by (push)
Fellas... (get on the mike)
Check it out, heres what u gotta do (push)
Gotta step in the room with the mood
Never juicin yourself,
Just a confident attitude (push)
Believe me, u will get busy
Your mouthll drop open
[as u watch the slimmies funkin] (push)
But u dont want the one whos jockin
Cause its all about the clockin (push)
Step 1, step off 2 the dance floor (push up on it)
There ya go, yall, yeah (push)

Push up on it (get on the mike, woman)

Its thunder when Im on the mike (push) I push
Daddy pops in the house
And ure sure 2 like his diamonds (push) I push
Sure 2 like his pearls

A willing and able horny pony

From pakistan 2 poland (push)
Straight into your town
Snatchin up kiddies (get on the mike)

Well, all u people out there, (push)
Ud better be ware
Cuz they call me rosie g
And I just dont care (push)
I like 2 step, all night long
Rappin, hiphopin, and pushin this song

It takes you all higher (push)
My momma said girl, u know it aint cool, (get on ...)
Said ya dont wanna play by nobodys rules

Let It Out

People dont read so easy
Never wanna say whats on their mind
Go from dreams to dollars
Then they wonder why the truth seems so unkind
They just hold on tighter and tighter
Running down the road that they know so well
Never wanna change the order
Too quick to say that time will tell
Let it out - unlock the box
Let it out - unravel the knots
Let it out - if youve got something to say
Let it out - get it out of the way
Why be an artful dodger
Come cool kind of fool who can slide on by
Theres a whole lot of art in sadness
So make it worth your while if youre gonna cry
Let it out - unlock the box
Let it out - unravel the knots
Let it out - if youve got something to say
Let it out - get it out of the way
Youve got to push pull
Loosen up baby
Let out all the rage
Get a little crazy
Rearrange your furniture
Dont be afraid
You gotta push it
Pull it
Push it
Pull it
Any way you gotta do it
Just as long as you let it out

The Workout

I was dancing with a dirty blond Texan,
Charming accent but the music's playing too loud for talking
So I showed him how people in the Far East get down
Push it up, push it down
Pull it up, pull it down
Keep it up, keep it down
Now put me down
...what a workout!
If you want, you can come
Come get it, get it
If you don't you may really regret it, 'gret it
Up and down till your knees start shakin' shakin'
Aint it good to be alive tonight
One life, two-time, 3 girls, 4 guys
Five ripples running up and down my spine
6.0 Make it sweet, drop another dime
I was talking with a born-again Christian
"So what's it like to start life all over?"
He said "Amen,
I feel like I've been, rediscovering the tomb of Tutankhamen."
Push it up, push it down
Pull it up, pull it down
Baby, don't put me down
...what a workout!
What you want, it's a done deal
Shake it, shake it
What you don't, you can forget about it, 'bout it
Up and down, feel your brainwaves jumpin' jumpin'
Makes me wanna take a dive
As we count to five
One life, two-time, 3 girls, 4 guys
Five ripples running up and down my spine
Can you hold on, someone's calling on the other line
I'm back
Push it up, push it down
Pull it up, pull it down
Keep it up, keep it down
Now put me down
...what a workout!
If you want, you can come
Come get it, get it
If you don't you may really regret it, 'gret it
Up and down till your knees start shakin' shakin'
Ain't it good to be alive tonight

Red Rock

some people have the strength to push a rock
some people have the strength to pull a car
some have the strength to pull a train
maybe even the strength to pull a plane
but the strongest of all
have the strength to pull away
from the one they loved for days

Stay Hungry

I think that we can signify our love now,
Ooh girl, you can initiate an impulse of love.
Stay hungry, stay hungry, stay hungry
Move a muscle, move a muscle, move a muscle.
Make a motion, make a motion, make a motion.
Pull it tighter, pull it tighter, pull it tighter.
Double beatin, double beatin, double beatin
Double beatin, double beatin, double beatin
Palpitation, palpitation, palpitation.
Stay hungry, stay hungry, stay hungry.
Heres that rhythm again.
Heres my shoulder blade.
Heres the sound I made.
Heres the picture I saved.
Here I am.

Steady

Friends they call me
On the phone
cause Im steady
Talk about unhappy homes
cause Im steady
Though I dont like to let it show
I got troubles of my own
We push and pull
And we fall apart
Im not gonna die
Of a broken heart
I just dont want to
Stop and start
cause Im steady
Day to day is so unsure
But Im steady
I watch people crash and soar
But Im steady
The more they try
So hard to change
The more they stay the same
We push and pull
And we fall apart
Im not gonna die
Of a broken heart
I just dont want to
Stop and start
cause Im steady
Were faced with so much
Back and forth
I dont need no ups and downs
We push and pull
And we fall apart
Im not gonna die
Of a broken heart
I just dont want to
Stop and start
cause Im steady
Im steady
Im steady

When You Push

When you push...
Don't turn your back upon a cliff.
Or try to balance on the edge of it.
When you push.

When you push...
Don't think for a moment,
I will insist you resist this!
Or think not to inflict...
An exchange with you conflict!

When you push...
And you have been warned!
A visit to your end will come to you quick.
As your fingertips slip...
From that cliff,
With my assistance.
When you continue to push!
And push.
And push!

Think of it,
As a gift to realize your wishes.
When you push to give...
Expect to receive!
