No one ever complains about a speech being too short!

Show Tune II
That's the long and short of it
now you know
how I've been waiting all these years
where I'm coming from
that's the long and short of it.
That's the long and short of it
now you see
just how hot hot jazz was
how it turned about, my bookcase
that's the long and short of it.
That's the long and short of it
now you know
that my arrest record's
not my best record
that's the long and short of it.
That's the long and short of it
now you see
how the Past's like a love
you can neither leave nor live
that's the long and short of it
That's the long and short of it
now you know
it was no gun in my pocket
it was a rocket
that's the long and short of it.
That's the long and short of it
and you're wond'ring dear
how I kept so pure
hull, it was easy
that's the long and short of it.
That's the long and short of it
now you see
so bounce your head
into bed
that's the long and short of it.
That's the long and short of it
read the blues
in these tattoos
make a song of it
that's the short and long of it.
How I wish
there was a bridge-
then I could burn it;
or the train
of a refrain
then I could board it
but there isn't
no there isn't, so...

If a university official's letter accusing a speaker of having a proclivity to commit speech crimes before she's given the speech - which then leads to Facebook postings demanding that Ann Coulter be hurt, a massive riot and a police-ordered cancellation of the speech - is not hate speech, then there is no such thing as hate speech.

The Talk Show Circuit
A blue suit with short hair
Speaking empty speech
To a tanned girl
With long legs and a beautiful mouth
A gray suit with gray hair
Speaking empty speech
To a fair skinned girl
With sexy hips and cherry red lips
A black suit with a pink tie
Speaking empty speech
To a Latin girl
In a green dress with lovely breasts
A pinstriped suit with a silver tie
Speaking empty speech
To an Asian girl
With rosy cheeks and perfect knees
…Too much television

Positivity
Don't hung on to regrets.
Days follow up days
Just a Breath away ends up a day
Life is too short to be the prisoner of your complains
Sufferings are the creators of the aches
Life is still here, won't you see?
Just keep your faith near
Positively taken every step will be chased up by angels grace.

Language is legislation, speech is its code. We do not see the power which is in speech because we forget that all speech is a classification, and that all classifications are oppressive.

Short Peoople
Short People got no reason
Short People got no reason
Short People got no reason
To live
They got little hands
And little eyes
And they walk around
Tellin' great big lies
They got little noses
And tiny little teeth
They wear platform shoes
On their nasty little fett
Well I don't want no Short People
Don't want no Short People
Don't want no Short People
Round here
Short People are just the same
As you and I
(A Fool Such As I)
All men are brothers
Until the day they die
(It's A Wonderful World)
Short People got nobody
Short People got nobody
Short People got nobody
To love
They got little baby legs
And they stand so low
You got to pick 'em up
Just to say hello
They got little cars
That got beep, beep, beep
They got little voices
Goin' peep, peep, peep
They got grubby little fingers
And dirty little minds
They're gonna get you every time
Well, I don't want no Short People
Don't want no Short People
Don't want no Short People
'Round here

My Clone
Seldom people like the setting- sun
But people like the sun which is rising…
My sun is in the west
And I feel lonely …
No rain, no wind
In my life..
No rainbow, barren
And suffering from drought
So I ordered a clone
Of myself, to kill my loneliness
and he is cent percent like me
he is all of my attitudes too
I got him
A very lovely one
Every one loves him
Now he gives me more problems than
The loneliness I used to be in before
As he has started to sleep around..
With all beauties surrounding neighbourhood..
I see green in the eye ….
I had that wish too, when I was hand some and young
But how does he come to know about this, my old wish?
Police complains, and complains from husbands
Make me mad, one day police came
And indicted me of murdering my own clone,
i am in jail

Flowery speech
Do not listen much
Flowery speech.
Flowery speech has
Got no strength
To attain
Determinate intellect
And you can not
Achieve supreme goal
Through these
Flowery speech.

I love eulogies. They are the most moving kind of speech because they attempt to pluck meaning from the fog, and on short order, when the emotions are still ragged and raw and susceptible to leaps.

Another Wink
Looking out of bed, I slept another wink,
Listening to the speech I delivered the day before.
I went to sleep in that speech,
Twelve people wanted me alive,
And the others saw noon at their shoulders.
A most preposterous time stated the times,
Facts of mere speech decide the outcome -
That deal called life and all of existence.

0016 Amphibrach
A tinker, a tailor, a soldier, a sailor...
‘A one and a two and a three and a four, guys…’
The amphibrach sings one of poetry’s basics;
a metrical foot – though a difficult one; it
is named from the Greek, meaning short at
both ends – that is, short, long, short, short, long short;
a poet can use it like this for a few lines, or longer;
however, it always seems trying to be something
else – like, some poor donkey who’s lame in one hind-leg;
it’s happier changing to dactyl or ana-
pest – see what I mean, now?

Down With The Thief!
Thump goes the speech, slanted at the crowd,
We profoundly undergo changes from this message.
To scrawl on the wall for benefits and facts
Perplexes the youth, let the speech be free of illness.
Empty is the talk, empty are the pockets of boys
Who steal knowledge from the brave and the old
Can be free.
Monsters pronounce the names,
Speech buries us under the ground.
For the conversation spills into speech,
And water transforms into ice
That cannot be drunk.
Thumping speeches have a message for the crowd
That thieves cannot master.

Speak Now
Spoken words carry no grace than the fury,
Tomorrow speech has enlarged revealingly.
Enticing talk is conversation too beautiful,
And fear and hatred is included.
Spears and backs of swords are leant against,
Taught are rasps of the air, calls of besiege;
The war of speech is a wage, a salary
For the troopers of the infantry, the real speech.
