At dramatic rehearsals, the only author that's better than an absent one is a dead one.

Stop Being So Dramatic
You tell me what you think and mean.
But why you don't,
Let it go!
When we're walking in the streets,
There's always a scene.
And under spotlight...
You begin your show.
Let it go.
Your past and those bitter things.
Let it go.
Why can't,
You let it go.
Does your happiness mean anything?
Then you've got to let stuff go!
Let it go.
Stop being so dramatic.
Let it go.
Stop being,
Those worst of fanatics.
Let it go.
Stop being so dramatic.
Let it go.
Stop being,
The worst of fanatics.
You spend your days fantasizing from your window.
Locked up tight without a social life.
And you tell 'me' I'm growing old.
But I'm not sitting with my eyes half closed.
Or watching my life pass by...
From a window.
Let it go.
Your past and those bitter things.
Let it go.
Why can't,
You let it go.
Let it go.
Stop being so dramatic.
Let it go.
Stop being,
The worst of fanatics.
Let it go.
Stop being so dramatic.
Let it go.
Stop being,
The worst of fanatics.
You tell me what you think and mean.
But why you don't,
Let it go!
Stop being so dramatic.
Let it go.
Stop being,
The worst of fanatics.
Let it go.
Stop being so dramatic.
Let it go.
Stop being,
The worst of fanatics.
You let life flow to pass you from your window!
Framed-in-pain...
Let it go!
Stop being so dramatic.
Let it go!
Stop being so dramatic.
Let it go!
Stop being so dramatic.
You need a hit to spark that light inside!
Let it go.
Stop being so dramatic.
Let it go!
Stop being,
The worst of fanatics.
You let life flow to pass you from your window!
Stop being so dramatic.
Stop being so dramatic.
Stop being so dramatic.
Stop being,
The worst of fanatics.

Absent From Routine
Absent but not of mind.
Too protective of precious consciousness,
Peace of mind and happiness.
Absent from nonsense.
Professed and not guessed.
And not seeking any to find.
To torment like the rest.
Absent from routine,
And thoughts of wasting time.
Absent from props used for chaos.
And those creating it to market!
As if this is a goldmine.
And the grease of sleaze,
Is there to slop it not stop it!

Faith Overpowering Love
Unfortunately the author entertaining with her Gothic vampire
horror reached a point where the hero and his evil counterpart
became inexorably and inextricably entwined - just like Harry
Potter and Voldemort - the ending became predictable and
the sensationalism, always part of a melodramatic blowing
up of every scene while delighting in repetitions
Became a turning point for me, with the hero's life as counter-
weight and the evil demon entering him, the story poised in a
delicate balance between the dramatic and the bizarre, crossed
the line, the overpowering descriptive adjectives and repetitions
of the same phrases overbalanced the scale on the wrong side,
though I shall remember the author's beautiful idea:
- Faith is an overpowering Love -

I'm obviously very keen on the theater and I think it's inevitable that some of the orchestral and chamber pieces have got dramatic elements which might even suggest an unspecified dramatic plot of some kind or other, even though it's not in my mind at the time.

Our Absent Friends
We often speak about
the fun we used to have
whenever we retrace our memories,
remembering our absent friends.
We remember our growing years,
the smiles on our faces
and the funny things we did
with our absent friends.
As the years roll on their way
and age creeps up on us
we sometimes like to reflect
on our long gone absent friends.
The flower of youth has withered,
but the flower never died.
It is still locked in our memory
when we remember our absent friends.

Great Royalty
A great many countries are each budding to support a king and queen,
This is entertaining the health and wealth of the nation, the many nations;
Lasses and lads conjecture on the plans of the international scene,
Affairs are postponed, rehearsals are performed, appreciation is made,
For the whole royalty, the majestic signs, the highnesses of the continent.
It was boldly attempted to see great plans, dramatic scenes connect,
So then youth collected its duty, bringing grand catastrophes.
The great many nations seek a proud answer to the questions of life,
Retiring after much heated discussion, and so the higher beings shall speak.

To Set Dramatic Attitudes To Get Bent
The language that you at times speak,
Immediately forces me...
To disagree.
And yet somehow your message spoken,
Is as clear as can be.
The manner that you keep sometimes,
Is harsh for me to be near.
But I must say,
I am relieved...
To have you with me here.
I admit my understanding has not been,
My best testament.
And I try not to submit,
To my vocal sentiments.
And my head gets thick with a defensiveness.
Oh yes,
I can be defensive...
When the wrong meaning is sent!
To set dramatic attitudes to get bent.
I admit my understanding has not been,
My best testament.
And I try not to submit,
To my vocal sentiments.
And my head gets thick with a defensiveness,
To set dramatic attitudes to get bent...
Oh yes,
To set dramatic attitudes to get bent...
Unmeant,
To set dramatic attitudes to get bent.

I'm very, very lucky and I think being a comedian really helps. I think you have a much longer span as a comedian than you do as a dramatic actress because I think there's more competition for a dramatic actress.

To dead men and absent there are no friends left.
Author's authoritative and artistically able alliteration answer
Author acts appropriately
adjusts apparel appositely,
attempts alliteration ably -
allies amusement, ability.
Aristocratic amourist's angel,
always admired, attracts acclaim,
alliterative, amiable,
admits artistic aim.
Altogether agreeable,
all aver, and, aflame,
assure acceptance affable
affirmative again...
Absent are arrogance, avarice, ambition, -
although allurements attractive appear -
amalgamate are ardour, ability, affection,
attachement ardent and august, all admit, adhere../. ad...
Author notes
Abusive argument? an assumption as absurd as an ass astride an advocate assiduously assembling an ascorbic acid apparatus!
Applause and approbation are altogether apropos.

Hymn 23 part 1
Absent from the body, and present with the Lord.
2 Cor. 5:8.
Absent from flesh! O blissful thought!
What unknown joys this moment brings!
Freed from the mischiefs sin has brought,
From pains, and fears, and all their springs.
Absent from flesh! illustrious day!
Surprising scene! triumphant stroke
That rends the prison of my clay;
And I can feel my fetters broke.
Absent from flesh! then rise, my soul,
Where feet nor wings could never climb,
Beyond the heav'ns, where planets roll,
Measuring the cares and joys of time.
I go where God and glory shine,
His presence makes eternal day:
My all that's mortal I resign,
For angels wait and point my way.
