I've been motivated by overcoming challenge and overcoming the hurdles and obstacles that face me. There still is plenty out there to get motivated by.

Emptiness
some are motivated
supposedly by his words
and wish to be nearer
some are motivated by
the world's events
and wish to know the
reasons behind
some are motivated
by the emptiness
in themselves
wondering whether
indeed it is emptiness there
or something more
something more

3 B.01 Peace
Peace - overcoming evil with good be,
Peace - overcoming falsehood with truth be,
Peace - overcoming hate with love clearly,
Peace - in hearts and minds of people be.
For Peace - love and sacrifice for it readily,
For Peace - strive to build it unhesitatingly,
For Peace - shun war understandingly,
For Peace - strive and work for it earnestly.
The more man sweats for the humanity,
The less he bleeds in war of societies,
Peace through peaceful means achieved be,
In nuclear age Peace the way of survival be.

Motivation
Sometimes you cannot get motivated
in some things you do.
Your mind is filled with confusion
within certain things.
In your mind confusion rules supreme.
You need to lose yourself in something else,
relieve the stress you feel.
Coming back later
to certain things refreshed
and ready to start again.
This time more motivated.

Victorious
The seas I transit across,
roads I journey along.
Always calm or direct, may not be.
With every step I am tested.
Whether from dark and wild storm,
or twisted treacherous trail.
Times I feel as the hunted,
seeking the solace of safe haven.
To defeat unrelenting strife.
Dwelling o’er failure, no option.
Surviving each challenge I face,
can only increase my tenacity.
Reward for my persistence?
Roadway without confrontation.
Calm seas with following breeze.
Light, overcoming darkness.
To face challenge with clarity,
requires composed confidence.
To emerge adversity, victorious.
Is to defeat animosity with diplomacy.

Mesmerized By Their Tales Told
Those who have never lived alone,
Have never lived to know reality.
Or aspects of it,
To enbrace what the facing of obstacles...
Bring.
Or what it means to endure,
Through the challenges of overcoming them.
And yet...
Those who have never had the 'opportunity',
To live alone....
Are quick not to listen to learn.
But willing to upstage,
With embellishments to delude those experiences...
They have never had,
At the expense of those mesmerized...
By their tales told.

Two Sides Of Liking A Man
some you find their every move
motivated by economic reasons
some you find them leaving behind
things for people to love them
for what they are, for no other reason
some you find their every move
motivated by reasons of racism
some you find them leaving behind
things for people to love them
without throwing the weight of
who they are,

Dead Silence
silence overcoming silence
nothing spoken nothing said
all you hear is the cold bitter sound of the
wind from the fan brushing against the phone
and on the other side nothing but silence
as if there was nothing but death...harsh, brutal death
words unspoken, unsaid
minds blink
clear from all thoughts
all they hear now is there hearts racing
like two dragcars -vroom vroom-
but yet there was still silence
there was nothing spoken nothing said
nothing but harsh brutal silence
words unspoken
words unsaid
silence overcoming silence
is all there was

Shaking In Red (song)
Shaking in red, in red, in red
To the edge of the dream, of the dream
We can’t be separated
Already, every time when I’m stifled to death after I give up again and again
My emotions that have no place to go wake me up
Your flawless smile knows it’s an existence
So distant that it’s cruel
Even though the incurable wound only eats away at my heart
Even now I can’t completely hold back my thoughts (that dwell) (within) the darkness
Shaking in red, in red, in red
To the edge of the dream, of the dream
We met; destiny begins to turn
A secret that no one, no one knows about
I fall, I fall, I fall
I certainly can’t return anymore, even if I carve out my my sins
While I was walking in the abyss of loneliness, I was saved
By realistic eyes that never change
But a shadow born as the light is bright
Deeply and pronouncedly creeps up to me
The two heartbeats are exactly like mirrors facing each other
The (pains) are similar (but) different and continue infinitely
Burning in red, in red, in red
Erasing everything, everything
An unfulfilled illusion begins to move
Strongly, strongly
Overcoming, overcoming, overcoming the fleeting night
I certainly can’t escape, even if I drown in my sins
Shaking in red, in red, in red
To the edge of the dream, of the dream
We met; destiny begins to turn
A secret that no one, no one knows about
I fall, I fall, I fall
I certainly can’t return anymore, even if I carve out my my sins
(i wrote this song because i love the color red!)
