Some genres I'm not a huge fan of but there are always exceptions that break the rules. There are always a few people doing it in a way weird enough to grab my attention.

The uncommon to be common
There are exceptions to rules.
When exceptions exceeds in use,
Rules relegate to exceptions
And exceptions stay as rules.
The uncommon one frequenting,
The common one is replaced
By the uncommon to be common.
Marriage is soon to be uncommon.

Up until doing this movie, I hadn't really paid a huge amount of attention to those genres, but after finishing this movie, it really gave me a different sense of appreciation of the way the movies play out.

Break The Rules
Everything is wrong, yet they all deny it
But the time will come, when they cant hide it
Somebody says hey man- whats up with you
I say just make way cause Im sick of you
Sick n tired of no good two faced liars
Buck here- buck there, thats their sole desire
Leaders always put your life in fear
I dont wanna see the world disappear
You got to burn it up- burn it up tonight
Cause the time has come for us- to put it right
You gotta break the rules, so keep the aces high
Break the rules- break the rules
Burn em down with fire
No good thinking you dont have the power
Cause its coming soon its gonna be our finest hour
All I do is smile because Ive been thru this before
I know just how to play this game- Im kicking down your door
You got to burn it up- burn it up tonight...
You gotta break the rules, so keep the aces high
Break the rules- break the rules
Burn em down with fire
You gotta break the rules, so keep the aces high
Break the rules- break the rules
Burn em down with fire
Solo
You gotta break the rules...

Weird
I like the way you never sleep
And the promises you never keep
I like the way you say hello
And make it sound like time to go
I like the scar above your lip
The way you let your feelings slip
But they are never what you feel
Oh so fake but completely real
Dont you think its weird
Weirder then weird
Thats what you are
Thats what you are to be
What I like about you
Is what you like about me
Dont you think its weird
I like the rules that multiply
And make the good things
Pass you by
Standing here without a plan
Thats why your such a happy man
Dont you think its weird
Weirder then weird
Thats what you are
Thats what you are to be
What I like about you
Is what you like about me
Dont you think its 1,2
I wanna make some changes
I want my money back
I wanna start up with you
I wanna talk to strangers
I wanna be with you
But I just dont know
Where or When
Thats what you are
Thats what you are to be
What I like about you
Is what you like about me
Dont you think its weird
Weirder then weird
Thats what you are
Thats what you are to be
What I like about you
Is what you like about me
Dont you think its weird

There are genres I don't care for, and I've never worked in those genres, and then sometimes there are people that I haven't liked and I haven't worked for those people. But if I feel like there's a movie that I would like to go see, I'll jump into it.

Some Weird Sin
Pop/bowie
Well, I never got my license to live
They wont give it up
So I stand at the worlds edge
Well, Im trying to break in
Oh no, its not for me
And the sight of it all
Makes me sad and ill
Thats when I want
Some weird sin
Things get too straight
I cant bear it
I feel stuck
Stuck on a pin
Well Im trying to break in
And I know its not for me
And the sight of it all
Makes me sad and ill
Thats when I want
Some weird sin
Thats when I want
Some weird sin
Just to relax with
Thats some dumb weird sin
For a while anyway
With my head on the ledge
Thats what you get out on the edge
Some weird sin
Things get too straight
I cant bear it
I feel stuck
Stuck on a pin
Im trying to break in
Oh, I know its not for me
Well, the sight of it all
Makes me sad and ill
Thats when I want
Some weird sin
Thats when I want
Some weird sin
Just to relax with
.
Thats some dumb weird sin
For a while anyway
With my head out on the ledge
Thats what you get out on the edge
Some weird sin
Some weird sin, some weird sin

Exceptions Made To Created Rules
Exceptions made to created rules,
Has established the need.
For a Department of Addendums.
Making the following of rules,
Foolish.
For anyone attempting to understand,
The purpose of their origin.
Since the following of rules legitimately,
Hasn't made those values and standards...
Many proclaim as adding a quality to their lives,
A cost effective proposition.
In fact,
Prior to those exceptions made,
One's life lived had been with less complications.
Today,
Those complications are needing interpretations...
For those seeking explanations,
Whether to live basically with no rules to follow.
Or demand more addendums,
To define what basic means.
And which lawful rule is broken,
If one decides living a life that 'is' basic
Will not have them arrested for indecent exposure.
Since many will protest they have become offended.
By someone daring to live,
Without attempting to make impressions.

Just Another Fool
There is a right way.
And there is a wrong way.
And to proceed,
I recommend you do it...
Their way.
'What about you?
You seem to consistently break the rules.
To say and do as you choose.
Are you afraid to be considered,
Just another fool? '
Well...
I don't live in this neighborhood.
I come for extended visits.
'They' and whoever 'they' may be...
Can say anything they wish about me.
My goal is to be 'THEE FOOL'
With no exceptions.

By reading a lot of novels in a variety of genres, and asking questions, it's possible to learn how things are done - the mechanics of writing, so to speak - and which genres and authors excel in various areas.

I don't like rock. Honestly, I like to listen to it, but it's not for me. There's a lot of musical genres that I find interesting, but they don't suit me. It's one thing to listen to different genres, but to perform a genre that isn't yours is counterproductive.

No Rules
Say its alright
If you really love me
Its my life
And I really wanted you that night
Was about to break
So we had to just take a chance
Time is not to waste
We couldnt let it slide through our hands
When my heart called
You answered me
Baby, when I was falling
You were there for me
Theres no rules in love
Cant you see?
No rules in love
For you and me
No rules in love
Walking through the streets
The echo of our footsteps in time
In between the beats
Tell me that youll always be mine
So baby can I trust you
Like Im ready to?
Ive waited so long
And I never refused
Theres no rules in love
Cant you see?
No rules in love
For you and me
Theres no rules in love
Our hearts are free
No rules in love
For you and me
No rules in love
All my life, been living on the same dreams
Sometimes they seemed so real
All my love I held deep inside me
I wanted to feel
I wanted to feel
Baby, now I wonder
What youre doing tonight
I can see you laughing, boy
As I closed my eyes
Theres no rules in love
Cant you see?
No rules in love
For you and me
Theres no rules in love
Cant you see?
No rules in love
For you and me
Theres no rules in love
Cant you see?
No rules in love
For you and me
