There are those whose sole claim to profundity is the discovery of exceptions to the rules.

The uncommon to be common
There are exceptions to rules.
When exceptions exceeds in use,
Rules relegate to exceptions
And exceptions stay as rules.
The uncommon one frequenting,
The common one is replaced
By the uncommon to be common.
Marriage is soon to be uncommon.

Exceptions Made To Created Rules
Exceptions made to created rules,
Has established the need.
For a Department of Addendums.
Making the following of rules,
Foolish.
For anyone attempting to understand,
The purpose of their origin.
Since the following of rules legitimately,
Hasn't made those values and standards...
Many proclaim as adding a quality to their lives,
A cost effective proposition.
In fact,
Prior to those exceptions made,
One's life lived had been with less complications.
Today,
Those complications are needing interpretations...
For those seeking explanations,
Whether to live basically with no rules to follow.
Or demand more addendums,
To define what basic means.
And which lawful rule is broken,
If one decides living a life that 'is' basic
Will not have them arrested for indecent exposure.
Since many will protest they have become offended.
By someone daring to live,
Without attempting to make impressions.

The Journey Of The Self
I've shut my world away
from yours
i have sewn my lips
i am muted
on self-volition
what is the use of
any coalition for this
very personal journey
on a ship without
name and rudder
do you feel my fears
for waves?
there is no captain
or crew here
rules are rules
there are no exceptions
of the self
i am raising my sails
in the middle of my storms
there is darkness
and occasional lightnings
i do not mind
the thunders
everyone claims
they all have them
too
tomorrow
perhaps shall be a bright day
i challenge myself
once again
i tell myself
this boat be better burned
so i will know
how far can i swim

Patience Given
Patience given,
To those dealing with their insecurities...
Have several exceptions!
Patience given to a child,
Learning when and how to use a toilet.
Patience given to a child,
Going to school for the first time.
Patience given to a child,
Learning how to share.
Patience given to a child,
When left with a babysitter.
Patience given to a child,
When learning the difference...
Between telling a lie and being honest.
Patience given to a child,
When being taught to be responsible.
Patience given,
To those dealing with their insecurities...
Have several exceptions!
Extenuating exceptions beyond the call of reason,
Requires one to ignore with an ability...
That preserves a peace of mind one wishes,
To keep and maintain undisturbed...
By those who are,
Disturbed by their expectations to be exceptions...
To the rule.

The gun rules
Stop, Stop
Please don't pull the trigger
You think I don't understand, you fool
The gun rules
You can claim my land
I will understand
You think I care about the money
Dive as you need into my honey
For I know
The gun rules
and heads must bow
The gun rules
Say yes, not no
The gun rules
Powerful than fistful blows
The gun rules
Nice and slow
The gun rules
Its handler glows
The gun rules
lay down, lie low
The gun rules
as red blood flows
You think I do not know the difference
between the gun, arrow and the bow
You sit like an angry king on your throne
ordering the rolling of heads and bones
This is the time of the gun
This is its timezone
Stop, Stop
Please don't pull the trigger
Lose not your cool, you fool
The guns rules
The perfect master of disguise
I have been to school and I am wise
A life in one piece
Is worth more
Than the risk of hit and miss
So all I ask of you is to let me go

Break The Rules
Everything is wrong, yet they all deny it
But the time will come, when they cant hide it
Somebody says hey man- whats up with you
I say just make way cause Im sick of you
Sick n tired of no good two faced liars
Buck here- buck there, thats their sole desire
Leaders always put your life in fear
I dont wanna see the world disappear
You got to burn it up- burn it up tonight
Cause the time has come for us- to put it right
You gotta break the rules, so keep the aces high
Break the rules- break the rules
Burn em down with fire
No good thinking you dont have the power
Cause its coming soon its gonna be our finest hour
All I do is smile because Ive been thru this before
I know just how to play this game- Im kicking down your door
You got to burn it up- burn it up tonight...
You gotta break the rules, so keep the aces high
Break the rules- break the rules
Burn em down with fire
You gotta break the rules, so keep the aces high
Break the rules- break the rules
Burn em down with fire
Solo
You gotta break the rules...

O Sole Mio
With pavarotti
Che bella cosa na jurnata e sole,
Naria serena doppo na tempesta!
Pe llaria fresca pare gi na festa...
Che bella cosa na jurnata e sole.
Ma natu sole
Cchi bello, oje ne.
o sole mio
Sta nfronte a te!
Quanno fa notte e o sole se ne scenne,
Me vene quase na malincunia;
Sotto a fenesta toia restarria
Quanno fa notte e o sole se ne scenne.

Just Another Fool
There is a right way.
And there is a wrong way.
And to proceed,
I recommend you do it...
Their way.
'What about you?
You seem to consistently break the rules.
To say and do as you choose.
Are you afraid to be considered,
Just another fool? '
Well...
I don't live in this neighborhood.
I come for extended visits.
'They' and whoever 'they' may be...
Can say anything they wish about me.
My goal is to be 'THEE FOOL'
With no exceptions.

Love Rules
Evry day you pass her in the hall
You just pretend that you dont see her at all
You wanna tell her how much you care
You wanna call her but you just dont dare
Love rules, ooo love rules
Out in the parking lot with all the guys
Dont ever let em see the tears in your eyes
Shes got a date tonight and it aint you
So you go out there and you get one too
Love rules, ooo love rules
Love rules, yeah love rules
You wish you didnt have so much to feel
Its much too scary and its all too real
All your friends are out havin fun
Sometimes you think that youre the only one
That love rules, ooo love rules
While everybodys out makin time
You cant help thinkin youre the last in line
Shes the finest thing youve ever seen
You wrap your arms around her in your dreams
When she smiles it brings you to your knees
You wanna tell her but you always freeze
Shes in the back seat but youre much too shy
Youd give the world to be an older guy
Love rules, ooo love rules
Love rules, yeah love still rules
Love rules, ooo love rules
Love rules, love rules love rules
Love rules

No Rules
Say its alright
If you really love me
Its my life
And I really wanted you that night
Was about to break
So we had to just take a chance
Time is not to waste
We couldnt let it slide through our hands
When my heart called
You answered me
Baby, when I was falling
You were there for me
Theres no rules in love
Cant you see?
No rules in love
For you and me
No rules in love
Walking through the streets
The echo of our footsteps in time
In between the beats
Tell me that youll always be mine
So baby can I trust you
Like Im ready to?
Ive waited so long
And I never refused
Theres no rules in love
Cant you see?
No rules in love
For you and me
Theres no rules in love
Our hearts are free
No rules in love
For you and me
No rules in love
All my life, been living on the same dreams
Sometimes they seemed so real
All my love I held deep inside me
I wanted to feel
I wanted to feel
Baby, now I wonder
What youre doing tonight
I can see you laughing, boy
As I closed my eyes
Theres no rules in love
Cant you see?
No rules in love
For you and me
Theres no rules in love
Cant you see?
No rules in love
For you and me
Theres no rules in love
Cant you see?
No rules in love
For you and me

Exceptions
Exceptions...
Are dispensed all the time.
By those in positions,
Given authority to be selective...
To change what has already been defined.
Exceptions are granted...
Depending on the excuses,
Others can find.
And awarded they are,
To those with the same frame of mind.
With a forgiving of whatever it is that is done.
Or whomever has become affected,
By the one who has been accepted...
As an exception to overlook.
To then be regarded as a 'slight' imperfection,
Others with equal flaws and blemishes...
Would have long ago been rejected.
To experience shame and a life lived in regret.
