A great book should leave you with many experiences, and slightly exhausted. You should live several lives while reading it.

The great book for you is the book that has the most to say to you at the moment when you are reading. I do not mean the book that is most instructive, but the book that feeds your spirit. And that depends on your age, your experience, your psychological and spiritual need.

I Seen Heaven
If you were able to see heaven, before you were taken away
Do you think you’d want to leave there
Or would you want to stay?
If heaven is as beautiful as the people
Who had death experiences say:
Then there is no comparison, there is no other way.
We live our lives the way it is allowed
We can not be someone, who tends to follow the crowd.
The LORD has given us so much beauties
Here on this earth, and we have to live it
For whatever it may be worth.
So live your life until it’s time for you to leave
Set all your goals, and struggle for it - to achieve.
And when the LORD calls for you to go home
It will be because, in your life you “shone”.
Like a star in the night, you will leave
A trail big and bright.
Now that you know what awaits on the other side.
It’s so much easier to say “goodbye”.

I think we all wish we could erase some dark times in our lives. But all of life's experiences, bad and good make you who you are. Erasing any of life's experiences would be a great mistake.

Before I was reading science fiction, I read Hemingway. Farewell to Arms was my first adult novel that said not everything ends well. It was one of those times where reading has meant a great deal to me, in terms of my development - an insight came from that book.

I get letters from readers who say that they have always hated reading, but somebody suggested one of my books, they actually finished the book and enjoyed it, and they're going on to read another book. I'm thrilled that they have figured out that reading is fun.

Damaged Goods
Try to stop the world spinning round
My phone bill will tell you she lives out of town
Its been a long, long time but still I dream
Of warm sunny days on 12th and lorraine
I wish you were here right now....but then
I know I should just leave you alone
I should just leave you alone
I know I should just leave you alone
I should just leave you along
The ground moved under me
I pushed her away with the things Id say
Gods face grew
Earthquake size
And I cant cross our great divide
I wanna live inside....but then
I know I should just leave you alone
I should just leave you alone

Leisure
İT is two days
since ıhave been reading a book
in the garden
without moving a bit
ı have no energy even to rise my arms
the boy of my neighbour..cemile's tenant's is playing a violin
he first began playing
when ı first came here
two years ago
do.re.mi.fa.sol.la.ti, do
and now chaikovsky
it is two years
in these years
he has accomplished a great work
and I
what have I done since now
my years flowed like a sea without fish
and are flowing still so
why do ı live
I do not know
even a small girl on her garandfaher's shoulders
is looking around
to discover the world she lıves in
my mother's crysanthemıums blooming in the garden
in multi colors
is it enough for me
to live leisurely
to claim
to watch the crysanthemiums blooming
to read a book translated by Omer RIZA
and to listen to the neighbour'S VIOLIN
İF ONLY ı could have been the one
who had grown those crysanthemiums
nowadays
perhaps ı can come to visit you
not to chat and talk
but for only
to look at your face
may be ı can find
what ı am searching in your face
all the faces ı see are unaware and senseless
nowadays
how is your face
is it full of sense
and comforting

What we do at its very, very best, at its very, very most, will shift us slightly in our seat. If only for two hours, great. If for the rest of our lives, even better.

Acceptance Leads To Comprehension To Digest
Acceptance leads to comprehension to digest.
To learn and progress with an understanding.
It has to be difficult to achieve for anyone who believes...
A picking to choose their own experiences,
Leaves them with an expanded vision.
And many eventually pay exorbitant fees,
Just to keep their limited perceptions isolated...
And unfulfilling,
To discover their lives have been deprived of adventure.
As others choose their lives to live free of enforced restrictions.
'I'm very impressed you have a PHd.
However...
Why do you leave your shoes untied?
Aren't you afraid you invite a 'trip'?
Or had you thought about this to prevent a fall? '

Book Of Days
Genealogical history,
The Book of Days and the keys of love;
The abundance of living creatures,
The Book of Peace and the Book of Care;
But anywhere and anyplace is my love to you,
And like the Caribbean Blues.
To the great lights,
Someone deceived you but i took you in;
And you now have a light source to see your way through,
Because the Book of Days is all about our lives on this earth!

I even smoke in bed. Imagine smoking a cigar in bed, reading a book. Next to your bed, there's a cigar table with a special cigar ashtray, and your wife is reading a book on how to save the environment.

We spend our lives fighting to get people very slightly more stupid than ourselves to accept truths that the great men have always known. They have known for thousands of years that to lock a sick person into solitary confinement makes him worse. They have known for thousands of years that a poor man who is frightened of his landlord and of the police is a slave. They have known it. We know it. … You and I are the boulder-pushers. All our lives, you and I, we’ll put all our energies, all our talents into pushing a great boulder up a mountain. The boulder is the truth that the great men know by instinct, and the mountain is the stupidity of mankind.

The books that help you most are those which make you think that most. The hardest way of learning is that of easy reading; but a great book that comes from a great thinker is a ship of thought, deep freighted with truth and beauty.

Sarah Palin - now don't laugh - is writing a book. Not just reading a book, writing a book. Actually, in the word of the publisher, she's 'collaborating' on a book. What an embarrassment! It's one of these 'I told you,' books that jocks do.

I read a book
I read a book
Not to enhance my looks
I read a book
Maybe to avoid being a crook
I read a book
Not just to learn how to cook
I read a book
To ascertain how to defend my rights
Not just to acquire knowledge
Reading a book I pledge,
Is one of the roads to the light
I read a book
To understand how a kings territory
Is defended with pieces such as the rook
I read a book
So there will be no questions asked
When I count correctly what you took
I read a book
So that I play not ignorant
Now on life I’ve a different outlook
I read a book
So if I come up with all the right answers
I will know for sure it is not merely a fluke

The Chronicles Of A Day Stranded In Nature Part 4 Spend A Day
One day
I had another fey
Imbroglio... why you there reader would you care?
Why stay there
Reading this... I urge you
That you could share my experiences too
Spend just one fey day at least
In nature stranded with only essentials as for food, don't bring a feast
Spend a day
Reading me, stranded in nature, for that is when you truly know me
Or spend a day, stranded in nature, reading you, for that is when you truly
Truly... find yourself
