Freud published The Interpretation of Dreams in 1900. It introduced the notion that there existed certain predictable and identifiable processes by which dreams were formed.

Your Dream
Your dream is colourful like the summer,
And its change is like variety of the wildflower.
Your dreams inhabit the brain with joy,
Further than anything to enjoy or employ.
Where are the nights in dreams now?
When I was old, the dark night became a row.
Arguing on the interpretation of dreams
Cancels your experience of their teams.
The real eyebrows sleep and when awake
The eyes are fully stunned, much intake.
The dreams of youth supply us with fun,
Too many hearts are spoilt with electrification.

This is a much more fitting interpretation of the book than its modern interpretation.

All things are subject to interpretation whichever interpretation prevails at a given time is a function of power and not truth.

It is all nonsense, to be sure; and so much the greater nonsense inasmuch as the true interpretation of many dreams - not by any means of all dreams - moves, it may be said, in the opposite direction to the method of psycho-analysis.

A few solitary thoughts
I sit browsing a world, virtual yet stylish
I have my headset on
A Tamil song played, which I care not
To escape Mamma`s scoldings, only my aim
To the aim my hopes always go
Filled, my mind with hopes and wishes
And eyes still sleepy, I wish 'not again'
An interpretation to dreams, got my mentor to say
Foolish hopes and beliefs with me to act
In real I know not, what does play
To make them all come true.
Dreams do have boundaries

There are people who put their dreams in a little box and say, 'Yes, I've got dreams, of course I've got dreams.' Then they put the box away and bring it out once in awhile to look in it, and yep, they're still there. These are great dreams, but they never even get out of the box. It takes an uncommon amount of guts to put your dreams on the line, to hold them up and say, 'How good or how bad am I' That's where courage comes in.

Like A Smoke Bomb
all changed
me and you
ye, ye
after 30 years
split
by state
and interpretation
from the fact
till our dreams
indeed different
such as the distance the sky
and earth
after a brief meeting
then disappear again
like a smoke bomb
windblown

I have the right to interpretation as a dramatist. I research. It's my responsibility to find the research. It's my responsibility to digest it and do the best that I can with it. But at a certain point that responsibility will become an interpretation.

We grow great by dreams. All big men are dreamers. They see things in the soft haze of a spring day or in the red fire of a long winter's evening. Some of us let these great dreams die, but others nourish and protect them nurse them through bad days till they bring them to the sunshine and light which comes always to those who sincerely hope that their dreams will come true.

Signs and Synbols
The dreams you have betray a need
You may not always recognise,
just what it is: You will concede
that this is true if you are wise.
Interpretation of your dreams.
Is not an easy thing to do.
You mind conceives fantastic schemes
to try and get it’s message through.
Although the language is obscure.
The symbols which your mind supplies
can paint a very clear picture.
Quite suddenly you realise.
Just what the symbols signify.
It is quite easy when you try.

Not Everyone Can Be Famous
Not everyone can be famous though many yearn for fame
In a World where millions do die without a penny to their name
And that any hope of an egalatarian Human World cannot exist cannot be denied
Whilst the gap between the haves and the have nots is growing ever wide
Their dreams of great wealth and fame millions do pursue
But for many of course such dreams never come true
And many who have great dreams die in poverty
For dreams are just dreams that's how it seems to be
Around the World today in every village, city and town
People daydream of great things of wealth and renown
And though to live in poverty only the saintlike would choose
For one for to win many destined to lose
To achieve in a big way seems a human need
And though many strive for success only few do succeed.

A Representation of Their Interpretation
People will find any excuse,
To enforce an image of superiority.
Even disguise themselves as police...
To gain the confidence of innocent children.
To then murder their dreams...
With a representation of their interpretation,
How best to inflict their evil deeds.
With an implementation of what they believe,
Is their entitlement to see others suffer.

An Epithet
“Admirable beacon of rectitude”
A great sounding epithet said of me
You think? That depends on whose point of view.
It’s like the fruit of a poisonous tree.
It looks harmless, nonetheless toxic.
It can be said for the appellation-
Sounds great yet often a vitriolic
Mean-spirited, misinterpretation.
The interpretation, self-righteousness
In the meanest, cruelest sense of the word.
I live a moral code nevertheless
In spite of the consensus of the herd.
If I’m a single lighthouse on the coast,
Expect from me examples from this post.

Great Expectations
Written by dennis deyoung
Lead vocals by dennis deyoung
Everybody will be watching
Just to see what can you do
Theyll be waiting, anticipating
For the genius to come through
So raise the bar up
A little higher
They expect so much of you
Feel the madness accelerating
Cause you feel the same way too
Great, great, great expectations
Everybodys masturbating
Wondering what youre gonna do
And all the doctors are contemplating
Can the smart ass still pull through
Mister big shot
With all the answers
One more time through the hoop for you
Light a fire
To the whole thing
Feel the flame as you go through
Great, great, great expectations
Did you think that your ambition
Would ever end up in remission
Did ya
Now did ya
Did you think your sacrifices
Would turn your dreams into your vices
Now did ya
How could ya
All the cynics & the ciphers
Make you question what you do
So turn your amp up a little louder
To drown out that void in you
While the mantra keeps repeating
There are dreams you must pursue
If you just try a little harder
There aint nothing you cant do
Great, great, great expectations

Series Of Dreams
I was thinking of a series of dreams
Where nothing comes up to the top
Everything stays down where its wounded
And comes to a permanent stop
Wasnt thinking of anything specific
Like in a dream, when someone wakes up and screams
Nothing too very scientific
Just thinking of a series of dreams
Thinking of a series of dreams
Where the time and the tempo fly
And theres no exit in any direction
cept the one that you cant see with your eyes
Wasnt making any great connection
Wasnt falling for any intricate scheme
Nothing that would pass inspection
Just thinking of a series of dreams
Dreams where the umbrella is folded
Into the path you are hurled
And the cards are no good that youre holding
Unless theyre from another world
In one, numbers were burning
In another, I witnessed a crime
In one, I was running, and in another
All I seemed to be doing was climb
Wasnt looking for any special assistance
Not going to any great extremes
Id already gone the distance
Just thinking of a series of dreams

Oracle
The oracle said we would lose, its message was very clear.
'Abandon the bones of your fathers, your lands, businesses,
Round up your children, gather what articles of worth
Might feasibly be carried on your backs and get the heck out;
For the foe', it said, 'will descend like a whirlwind
Drink your blood and impress who's ever left
Into the vilest servitude.'.
Most believed and prepared to flee. Only one wise, old woman
Reluctant to leave her potato garden, shook a wise, gnarled finger
At the crowd and demanded a re-interpretation
(Which, of course, she got)
'Clearly', said the divines, 'on reconsideration
The oracle meant just to foretell the destruction of the foe';
We, ourselves, had nothing much to worry about
If we'd only take heart, think and manage our resources wisely;
Talk to each other with an extra measure of politeness and agree to agree;
Oh, and build a fleet.
Such was the re-interpretation of the divines.
That was ten years ago. Putting our faith entirely in the oracles
message;
As the divines bid we did, and when the foe invaded, won the day.
Truly these oracles have a way of changing that optimism never does.
Odd. Could it be that oracles are mostly a matter of interpretation?
