It would be a pity if, frustrated by the price of travel, we elected to become a society that never made contact, that never gave SETI a fair chance.

There is only one thing more harmful to society than an elected official forgetting the promises he made in order to get elected; that's when he doesn't forget them.

Elected (live)
I'm your top prime cut of meat, I'm your choice
I wanna be elected
I'm a yankee doodle dandy in a gold Rolls Royce
I wanna be elected
The kids need a savior, they don't want a fake
I wanna be elected
We're all gonna rock to the rules that I make
I wanna be elected
Elected
Elected
Respected
I wanna be selected
I never lied to you, I've always been cool
I wanna be elected
I have to get the votes, I told you about school
I wanna be elected
Elected
Elected
Hallelujah
I wanna be selected, come on
Ooh yeah
We're gonna rock this place, take the country by storm
I wanna be elected
You and me together, young and strong
I wanna be elected
Elected
Elected
Respected, selected, call collected
I wanna be elected, oh, oh, come on
This time

In my other life ~ ~ ~ Song Lyric's
In my other life, I marched troops in formations
I manned the gun and turned them into men
In my other life, I had so many wayward women
They broke me down and made me, what I am
They showed me roads that men seldom travel
They taught me things can work only if, you try
That losing could mean your really winning
They showed me sorrow, and taught me, how to cry
In my other life, I consumed minds recreations
I made peace with myself, these insecurities, could not stand
In my other life, I lived with incarcerations
They broke me down and made me, what I am
They showed me roads that men seldom travel
They taught me things can work only if, you try
That losing could mean your really winning
They showed me sorrow, and taught me, how to cry
In my other life, I worked hard to make a living
I gave up my recklessness, and vowed never, to give in
In my other life, I was married and had children
There broke me down and made me, what I am
They showed me roads that men seldom travel
They taught me things can work only if, you try
That losing could mean your really winning
They showed me sorrow, and taught me, how to cry
In my other life, I was drawn to the Truth and His resurrection
I confessed my sins, by faith believed and made Him, my Lord
In my other life, I learned to die to self and surrender
Conviction broke me down; the Blood made me, what I am
He showed me a narrow road men seldom travel
He gave me grace to change, in the Sweet, by and by
That losing could mean your really winning
He showed me His love, the price He paid, the reason why
He showed me His love, the price He paid, the reason why

Spirit
Test your spirit.
See where it takes you.
Give it wings.
Then see where it flew.
It can cover much ground
to all those around
that come into contact with you.
Give your spirit
the chance it needs
to elevate the world
and plant the seeds
of kindness to all that have hit a wall
and now have made contact with you.
Watch your spirit
grow on its own
as it shines its brilliance
on those in pain
or those who remain
without a light
until they make contact with you.
For your spirit transcends
and makes amends
to all inequities on earth,
to all who have forgotten about
their own self-worth
and need a reminder
as they come into contact with you.

Frustrated Again
Muir-Trujillo-
Frustrated again! (4x)
Destroy my vision - mental collision. The purpose
fading - you keep me waiting
Like stuck in traffic - my thoughts go static again
Frustrated again! (4x)
Start with lying - there's no denying. My mind starts
slippin' - mentally trippin'
Your apathy - comes right back to me
Frustrated again! (4x)
(lead)
Frustrated again! (2x)
Your rationale - don't understand how. Lose
concentration - find more frustration
Learned no lesson - but you keep messin' with me
Frustrated again

I Have The Touch
The time I like is the rush hour, cos I like the rush
The pushing of the people, I like it all so much
Such a mass of motion, do not know where it goes
I move with the movement and ... I have the touch
Im waiting for ignition, Im looking for a spark
Any chance collision and I light up in the dark
There you stand before me, all that fur and all that hair
Oh, do I dare ... I have the touch
Only, only
Wanting contact
Only, only
Im wanting contact
Only, only
Im wanting contact with you
Shake those hands, shake those hands
Give me the thing I understand
Shake those hands, shake those hands
Shake hands, shake hands.
Any social occasion, hello, how do you do
All those introductions, I never miss my cue
So before a question, so before a doubt
My hand moves out and ... I have the touch
Only, only
Wanting contact
Only, only
Im wanting contact
Only, only
Im wanting contact with you
Shake those hands, shake those hands
Give me the thing I understand
Shake those hands, shake those hands
Shake those hands
Pull my chin, stroke my hair, scratch my nose, hug my knees
Try drink, food, cigarette, the tension will not ease
I tap my fingers, fold my arms, breathe in deep, cross my legs
Shrug my shoulders, stretch my back, but nothing seems to please
I need contact
I need contact
Nothing seems to please
I need contact
Tac-tacatac, tac-tacatac
I need contact
Nothing seems to please
I need contact
Tac-tacatac, tac-tacatac
I need contact
Ah, tac-tacatac
I need contact
Nothing seems to please
I need contact
I need contact.

You're always frustrated, you don't have the chance to do a song on the album, like the Beatles did with Ringo and George, or like Led Zeppelin, where everybody was given a chance to contribute. There never is a chance with the Stones.

It should be remarked that, as the principle of liberty is better understood, and more nobly interpreted, a broader protest is made in behalf of women. As men become aware that few have had a fair chance, they are inclined to say that no women have had a fair chance.

Sad to see him go
Its sad to see him go,
Go away to nothingness,
He made me feel pity for me,
Myself pity,
Pity that I should not feel for him,
He made me so mad that I should not feel sorry for him,
He comes and goes as he pleases in my life,
He made me feel as if I did not exist to him,
He should feel sorry for me cause I went through a lot ever since he left me with this broken heart,
Sad to see him go,
Its my fault that I didn’t try hard enough to be there for him yet he was never there for me in began with,
I have the rights to be anger with him,
He made me feel like I was losing my mind,
Sad to say that I do declare I have somewhat feel pity for him,
Yet so sad to see him go.

What You Gave Me
(nickolas ashford/valerie simpson)
Youve given me so much warmth
I dont see how I could ever grow cold
In my mind theres a picture of you and i
That nobody has the price to buy
I dont know what made you change your mind
But youll be back
Its just a matter of time
cause what you gave me is more than enough to last
Ooh, baby
What you gave me is more than enough to last
Yeah, into my life you came
Like a breath of spring
Giving me a song to sing
Though I know youre leaving
But I wont be grieving
cause time has a way of showing us
The things that we really need
And no matter where you go
I know youll find your way back home
cause though I know its not reality
Youll always be a part of me
cause what you gave me is more than enough to last
What you gave me is more than enough to last
What you gave me
What you gave me is more than enough to last
Yes, yes its more
Its more than enough to last
Yes, yes its more
Its more than enough to last
What you gave me is more than enough to last
What you gave me is more than enough to last
What you gave me is more than enough to last
What you gave me is more than enough to last

Don’t Pity Me
I can stand on my own two feet
Spare me the reminder that I came from those lonely streets
Which made me cold as I grew old
Don’t pity me, no don’t pity me at all
I did what was necessary to survive
Build my dreams on hard concrete
Fed myself dust until I couldn’t eat
Why pity me, why pity me at all
Now that I am full, I can use the energy
To do what you could have done
Saved me instead of feeling sorry
Because you pity me, and you pity me until I was no more
So the next time you look down and see me
Remember this, it could have been you not me.

Points of contact
We travel and keep moving
Each time you move ahead
You should have stepped at a point
Ensuring the grip of the point
You might have pushed ahead
And you make your next step
After reaching the next point of contact
You push ahead
Exerting the force of the push
On the point of contact
The more frequently you
Meet the points of contact
The faster is your movement and going ahead
The point of contact acts as fulcrum
That ensures your push becomes a movement
Thus, you will agree,
Points of contact
Help you move
Regardless of the direction
And regardless of the destination
Quality of your movement
Depends a lot on the
Quality of the points of contact
A slippery, less firm point of contact
Makes you slip
And end up with failure
Your journey terminating not
Helping you reach the destination
Despite all your skills
And efforts towards pushing ahead
You understand that
Points of contact need your attention
They need nourishment
Maintenance and care
The Point of contact need not be
Just a material or stone
Or a step in a ladder or staircase
It can also be a person
Who helped you in your movement
Some time, some where and some how
It is also a requirement
That you be in touch with them
Demonstrating your care and love for them
Your life journey
Either through vocational career,
Or through domestic living
Or through places
Require the blessings of points of contact
Take care of them
Nurture them
Ensure that they are fit and strong enough
To carry your weight
And help you go further ahead in life

I Gave My 24-7 To You
You said jump, I asked how high
You made the rules, that we live by
And now I find, I made a frankenstein
I spoiled you rotten, night and day
I always let you get your way
I did the crime, now Im doing time
Baby, for showing you I care
Im tearing out my hair
Baby, you never do your share
You know it isnt fair
(chorus)
I gave my 24-7 to you
Doing everything you wanted to
I bought you sushi and yogurt too
You bought a ringer
Just to pull me through
cause you know thats its true
I gave my 24-7 to you
Every time that were alone
You sit there talkin on the phone
It never ends
Now I hate your friends
Every time I tell you no
Youre quick to tell me where to go
Id leave it all
If I had your balls
Baby, I let you wear the pants
You wore off the romance
Baby, you never miss a chance
To tell me I cant dance
I gave my 24-7 to you
Doing everything you wanted to
I bought you prada and old navy too
You never wear em
Now Im feeling blue
Girl, you know that its true
I gave my 24-7 to you
Baby, its true
Therell never ever ever
Ever never be another one like you
I gave my 24-7 to you
Doing everything you wanted to
I bought you britney and limp bizkit too
You sold them back
For money that I blew
Girl, you know that its true
I gave my 24-7 to you

Pity, pity, pity
Look at to the unwanted child
Look at to the divorced wife
Look at to the homeless man
What people do other than saying
“Pity, pity, pity”
Look at to the tragic hero
Look at to the sympathized villain
Look at to the clueless victim
What witnesses do other than staring
“Pity, pity, pity”
Look at to the crazy dreamer
Look at to the unlucky gambler
Look at to the stubborn fighter
What friends do other than whispering
“Pity, pity, pity”
Look at to the withering flower
Look at to the starving animal
Look at to the extinct nature
What human do other than howling
“Pity, pity, pity”
Look at to the empty spaces
Look at to the blank faces
Look at to the lost traces
What devils do other than laughing
“Pity, pity, pity”

That Pity B-Gone!
Let that pity b-gone!
No more from me you get pity.
That pity b-gone!
You indulged and had to rid of it.
That pity b-gone.
And also going are those benefits.
If you carry on...
Like you can't handle it!
Let that pity b-gone!
No more from me you get pity.
That pity b-gone!
You indulged and had to rid of it.
That pity b-gone.
And also going are those benefits.
If you carry on...
Like you can't handle it!
We knew that pity had to split!
B-gone.
We knew that our hearts would split, and soon...
B-gone.
If we let that pity sit,
Between us....
Both of us would have a fit.
If we let that pity sit,
Both of us would have a fit.
If we let that pity sit...
Between us!
And...
You'd believe,
That I could never love you.
To leave me feeling sorry,
And blue.
But...
I would know,
How deep inside my love goes.
And protecting what I love,
Before it overflows.
Let that pity b-gone!
No more from me you get pity.
That pity b-gone!
You indulged and had to rid of it.
That pity b-gone.
And also going are those benefits.
If you carry on...
Like you can't handle it!
So...
No more from me you get pity.
That pity b-gone!
You indulged and had to rid of it.
That pity b-gone.
And maybe not so much the benefits.
Since I would miss too much your many moods.
That pity b-gone.
No more from me you get pity.
That pity b-gone!
You indulged and had to rid of it.
That pity b-gone.
No more from me you get pity.
That pity b-gone!
You indulged and had to rid of it.
That pity b-gone.
No more from me you get pity.
That pity b-gone!
You indulged and had to rid of it.
That pity b-gone.
No more from me you get pity.
That pity b-gone!
You indulged and had to rid of it.
That pity b-gone!
