Spirit

Test your spirit.
See where it takes you.
Give it wings.
Then see where it flew.
It can cover much ground
to all those around
that come into contact with you.

Give your spirit
the chance it needs
to elevate the world
and plant the seeds
of kindness to all that have hit a wall
and now have made contact with you.

Watch your spirit
grow on its own
as it shines its brilliance
on those in pain
or those who remain
without a light
until they make contact with you.

For your spirit transcends
and makes amends
to all inequities on earth,
to all who have forgotten about
their own self-worth
and need a reminder
as they come into contact with you.
