Nobody's perfect. Everyone slides here and there, and they have their ups and downs. When they are down, that is not the time to step all over them.

I'm Not Perfect
I'm (x8)
Had we met at a different time we'd be perfect for each other,
Now were spending all our time, in this world come together,
My heart is aching, from all the love your giving,
Were not faking, is this the life were living?
I'm not perfect, but i'm perfect for you,
Now i'm right on time,
I'm not perfect, but i'm perfect for you,
I feel right on time,
More and more we are together, tryin to discover,
I see a flicker in your eye, are you lookin for somethin better?
You once told me lying on the ground, but keep goin up and down, yo!
I'm not perfect, but i'm perfect for you,
Now i'm right on time,
I'm not perfect, but i'm perfect for you,
I feel right on time,
I'm not perfect, but i'm perfect for you,
Now i'm right on time,
I'm not perfect, but i'm perfect for you,
I feel right on time,
Why waste it thinkin about it? taste it,
Don't waste it thinkin about it, taste it,
It really doesn't matter wherever i may go,
We're tied together, that's one thing we both know, yo!
I'm not perfect, but i'm perfect for you,
Now i'm right on time,
I'm not perfect, but i'm perfect for you,
I feel right on time,
I'm not perfect, but i'm perfect for you,
Now i'm right on time,
I'm not perfect, but i'm perfect for you,
I feel right on time,
Right on time, i feel on time tonight, i right on time, i feel right on time,
Right on time, i feel on time tonight, i right on time, i feel right on time,
Right on time, i feel on time tonight, i right on time, now i'm right on time,

Fairground.
Fairground,
Big sound,
Music everywhere.
Great rides,
Brill slides,
Wind blowing through my hair.
Roundabouts,
Ins and outs,
Candy on a stick.
Ups and downs,
Groans and frowns,
Oh no! I'm feeling sick.
Lots of yells,
Cooking smells,
All going on around.
The great rides,
And brill slides,
At the fairground.

Ups And Downs
Each life has its ups and downs
and I always figured
my life had more downs than ups.
However, when I stopped to look at it,
I think the reverse may well apply.
There have been more up than downs.
I have a wonderful wife,
which has to be an up.
I have been blessed with three lovely children,
which has to be another up.
I have friends from every four corners of the world.
There is no denying that is an up.
When I tried to look at the downs,
I really couldn’t think of any.
Therefore, at this moment
I am one of the few
real lucky people
who have more ups than downs.

My Car Slides (1)
Version1
-------------------------
My car slides
My last words are:
'Help. Mother I'm...'
My car slides
I wait for cold
A fear of the dark
My car slides
And I pray to
Things I've not seen
Here am I
Sad and lonely
Here am I
Quite by chance I slide
My car slides
The radio plays
'Heaven...' something
My car slides
This quiet night
Time plays slow tricks
My car slides
My clock runs down
Tick tock tick...
Here am I
Sad and lonely
Here am I
Quite by chance I slide
Version2
-------------------------------
Now there's a girl outside my door
She's raw pink shame
She makes love as the machines play
Sound effects of mayhem
She disconnects my own heart at times
The cure comes next
Here am I
Sad and lonely
Here am I
Quite by chance I slide
She has the problem of need
Not conversation
She can only whisper such things
Like 'I tear inside'
She's like a gangster in drag I knew
Skin like china.
Here am I
Sad and lonely
Here am I
Quite by chance I slide

There Is Nothing Perfect
basic is the rule
there is nothing perfect
in this world: no perfect person
there will always be lapses
no perfect planes
there will be crashes sometimes
no perfect clothes
for summer, some colors will still be hot
no perfect friends, there will always be
betrayals from time to time
there is even no perfect time
sometimes we caught in a whorl
with the whore
in a black hole where we do not know
anymore what happens next
there is nothing perfect even
in moderation
no perfect life
neither death,
ask God, he is not either
he was once in error
when he became
man.

One Small Step
So many people
Need to go so many miles
How do we move them
To where the answer lies
Reach out to the ocean
Beyond the stars that shine
Weve got to take one small step in time
If we are the dreamers
Then the world must be the dream
Driven to question
All the things weve never seen
We search the horizon
Looking for a sign
Weve got to take one small step in time
One step beyond
All our hopes and our passion
There is the light of the universe flashin
All that it takes is one leap of faith
One small step, (one small step)
One small step in time
Deep in the darkness
(deep in the blackness)
Theres a wind that never dies
(theres a wind that never dies)
Out in the vastness
(out in the vastness)
Theres a road across the sky
(a road across the sky)
Out there is the reason
That we were meant to find
Weve got to take one small step in time
Weve got to take one small step in time
(one small step, one small step)
One small step in time
(one small step, one small step)
One small step in time
(one small step, one small step)

Step By Step
Step by step
Gonna get to you girl
Chorus:
Step by step ooh baby
Gonna get to you girl
Step by step ooh baby
Really want you in my world
Hey girl in your eyes
I see a picture of me all the time
And girl when you smile
You got to know that you drive me wild
Step by step
Ooh baby
Youre always on my mind
Step by step
Ooh girl
I really think its just a matter of time
Chorus
Hey girl cant you see
Ive got to have you all just for me
And girl yes its true
No one else will ever do
Chorus
Step one
We can have lots of fun
Step two
Theres so much we can do
Step three
Its just you and me
Step four
I can give you more
Step five
Dont you know the time has arrived

Perfect Time Of Day
It's the perfect time of day
It's the last day of your life
Don't let it drift away
While your heart is still racing
It's the perfect time of day
And you wont feel a thing
And you wont recall anything at all
Close your eyes and take your last breath
Press your head aside, the end is the beginning
Everyone between is so lost, so lost.
Let your colors collide
The time is so right
I keep running behind
But I know your meaning
You love to fall
The perfect time of day
Chorus
Wooooo it's the perfect time of day
Come on now
It's the perfect time of day
it's the perfect time with you

Perfect System
Im in love with you I know
And I know that you love me too
Im in love with you I know
Im in love with everyone too
Were all comrades now you know
Were all brothers under the skin
With a few adjustments now
Living in the perfect system
The adjustments simple there is really no pain
Youll hardly notice anything has changed
Living in a programmed life never really has ups and downs
Theres no need for fighting now
Theres no reason to wear a frown
In a perfect system
Theres no confrontation
Unnecessary friction
To impede our concentration
Weve simply done away with
Unnecessary friction
I live in a system
I got an occupation
I get enough nutrition
By eating protein biscuits
Recommended by the system
Its routine regulation
I had an operation . . .
Im in love with you I know
And I know that you love me too
Im in love with you I know
Im in love with everyone too
I can tell by the look in your blank dull eyes
That you agree, but Im not a bit surprised
Living in a programmed life never really has ups and downs
Theres no need for fighting now
Theres no reason to wear a frown
I had an operation
With no adverse reaction
They tampered with my brain some
It helped me see the reason
For living in the system
It helped me see the reason
(were all brothers in a perfect world)
In a perfect world theres uniformity
(were all brothers in a perfect world)
In a perfect world theres conformity
(were all brothers in a perfect world)
Theres no need for spontaneity
Perfect system were all brothers to the end
Brothers to the end
Brothers to the end
I know and I know that you love me too
(brothers to the end) I know Im in love with everyone too
(brothers to the end) I know were all comrades under the skin
(brothers to the end) I know living in a perfect system
Brothers to the end

Perfect Part 2
I don’t need perfect cloth
I don’t need perfect hair
What I need is a confidence
I don’t need perfect score
I don’t need perfect job
What I need is a support
I don’t need perfect word
I don’t need perfect dream
What I need is a chance
I don’t need perfect agreement
I don’t need perfect control
What I need is a solution
I don’t need perfect holiday
I don’t need perfect memories
What I need is a peace of mind
I don’t need perfect home
I don’t need perfect family
What I need is a comfort
I don’t need perfect love
I don’t need perfect life
What I need is an understanding

Take a step back in time
Take a step back in time
Where you could leave your door unlocked and not think about thieves
Take a step back in time
where you can take you time
and no rushing to do something or go somewhere
Take a step back in time
where nobody dies
Take a step back in time
to see how a life was lived
Take a step back in time
to fix a mistake
Don't you wish you could take a step back in time

Baby Step Back
Now it looks to me like the same old place
In the sky it looks like rain
The same old town with the same old streets
The address has not change
You can find me there
With the door shut tight
And the one wish that remains
Baby step back baby step back
Either step up or step back
No you know I dont write no bad checks
I have no wish to repent
Ive seen a few
But whatever I do
I dont cause no accidents
Whiskey and wine help me pass the time
I dont leave no evidence
Baby step back baby step back
Either step up or step back
Baby step back baby step back
Either step up or step back
Still I dont kneel down
I was born to fight
So youd best leave me alone
Maybe Ill get much more than I need
Or much less than I should own
Last of all let me say it again
Either step up or step on
Baby step back baby step back
Either step up or step back
Baby step back baby step back
Either step up or step back
Baby walk back baby walk back
Either walk on or walk back
Baby step back ...

Mr.Perfect
Mr. Perfect
By: Jean Pullman
Your smile it warms my soul
Your touch makes me lose all control
Your personality is too good to be true
Your looks I can’t begin to explain what they do.
CHORUS
You’re Mr. Perfect in every way
You become more perfect with every day
You’re Mr. Perfect no matter what they say
You’re Mr. Perfect you blow me away
You are so perfect to me.
Every single thing you do
Makes it impossible to forget you
You are the only one that I can truly say
Is perfect in every way
Maybe that’s why you can’t be
Not with her but with me
Because your perfect and of course you’re taken
Because of you my hearts forsaken.
CHORUS
You’re Mr. Perfect in every way
You become more perfect with every day
You’re Mr. Perfect no matter what they say
You’re Mr. Perfect you blow me away
You are so perfect to me.
I die a little more inside
Every time I look into your eyes
And know that you can’t be mine
It will be hard to find
Another guy like you
Who can take away the blue
So now I go on to say
Your perfect in every way.

No Step
I looked out of my window, saw a stencil black,
No step. no step.
There were nervous mothers with children crying in the back.
No step. no step.
Someone bought me my ticket, now Im on the wing.
Hope my angels are watching me, do I hear them sing?
No step. no step.
Those afterburners cut in and kicked us high.
No step. no step.
The thin air shimmered, the sun cut through and burned my eye.
No step. no step.
Someone bought me my ticket, now Im on the wing.
Hope my angels are watching me, do I hear them sing?
No step.
No step no step.
No step no step.
No step no step.
Give me a jet stream schooner or a crew-legged goose.
No step. no step.
Im a clear-air jockey when they turn me loose
No step. no step.
Someone bought me my ticket to the captains seat.
Will the shakes soon leave me, will I find my feet?
No step. no step.
No step. no step.
No step.

Simple Mind
There’s simple girl
With simple mind
She wants perfect love
But she finds it’s hard
To get a perfect guy
With a perfect job
Has a perfect house
Keeps a perfect dog
In a perfect time
And a perfect place
For a perfect happily ever after
So she change little
Of her simple mind
She still wants perfect love
She knows it’s hard
To get a perfect guy
With a perfect job
Has a perfect house
Keeps a perfect dog
In a perfect time
And a perfect place
For a perfect happily ever after
But at least she quite satisfied
With her simple mind
She doesn’t have perfect love
But she finds it’s hard to leave him
That has a good smile
Gets a desirable job
Builds a little home
Keeps a cheering dog
In unexpected moment
And unforgettable place
For hopefully happily ever after

Dont Look Back In Anger
Slip inside the eye of your mind
Dont you know you might find
A better place to play
You said that youve never been (sounds like bean in order to rhyme w/seen)
But all the things that youve seen
They slowly fade away
So Ill start a revolution from my bed
cuz you said the brains I had went to my head
Step outside, summertimes in bloom
Stand up beside the fireplace
Take that look from off your face
You aint ever gonna burn my heart out
And so, sally can wait
She knows its too late as were walking on by
Her soul slides away
But dont look back in anger
I heard you say
Take me to the place where you go
Where nobody knows
If its not our day
Please dont put your life in the hands
Of a rock and roll band
[and? youll? ] throw it all away
Im gonna start a revolution from my bed
cuz you said the brains I had went to my head
Step outside, cuz summertimes in bloom
Stand up beside the fireplace
Take that look from off your face
cuz you aint ever gonna burn my heart out
And so, sally can wait
She knows its too late as shes walking on by
My soul slides away
But dont look back in anger
I heard you say
So, sally can wait
She knows its too late as were walking on by
Her soul slides away
But dont look back in anger
I heard you say
So, sally can wait
She knows its too late as shes walking on by
My soul slides away
But dont look back in anger
Dont look back in anger
I heard you say
At least not today.

Ups And Downs
So precious are our days upon this earth,
From life's very start, at our moment of birth,
Through our childhood years, so free from cares,
Then into adulthood, with its many shares
Of ups and downs, and sadness and joy,
Children for us perhaps, a girl and a boy.
Into middle age, then way beyond,
If only we could wave a magic wand
And choose each step that we should take,
The right decisions, that we should make,
But alas, our judgement is not always right,
Sometimes we can fail to see the light.
So life will be filled with ups and downs,
Days of laughter and days of frowns,
But through our days, whether stormy or fine,
These precious days are still yours and mine.

Practice Every Step
Practice every step.
Do not second guess what it takes.
Practice every step.
Practice every step.
There's no sleeping for someone who has a place to go,
So...
Practice every step.
Practice every step.
Focus on that goal,
And tighten on your hold,
And...
Practice every step.
Practice every step.
Practice every step.
Do not second guess what it takes.
Practice every step.
Practice every step.
Every journey taken,
Must be thought of as a race...
And,
Practice every step.
Practice every step.
There's no other way to straighten out a crooked road,
So...
Practice every step.
Practice every step.
No matter what you're told,
There will be some doubts and woes...
But you,
Practice every step.
Yes you,
Practice every step.
Woes you hold will eventually go,
So...
Practice every step.
Practice every step.
Practice every step.
Practice every step.

Your Perfect Little Girl...
Your perfect little girl dropped a grade on her report card.
Your perfect little girl yelled at you last night.
Your perfect little girl painted her nails black.
Your perfect little girl lied to you all her life.
Your perfect little girl cries herself to sleep.
Your perfect little girl slits her wrists till she bleeds.
Your perfect little girl hates you.
Your perfect little girl hates herself.
Your perfect little girl has given up on life.
Your perfect little girl had a tantrum today.
Your perfect little girl has her head in the toilet after dinner.
Your perfect little girl wants to run away.
Your perfect little girl hasn't let you dry her tears.
Your perfect little girl disobeyed you.
Your perfect little girl hates the world.
Your perfect little girl is hated by the world.
Your perfect little girl is very unhappy.
Your perfect little girl tried to commit suicide.
Your perfect little girl became a disgrace.
Your perfect little girl keeps alot of secrets.
Your perfect little girl deals with everything on her own
Your perfect little girl had to grow up too fast.
Your perfect little girl is on the edge of breakdown.
Your perfect little girl just isn't so perfect anymore.
