Only a stomach that rarely feels hungry scorns common things.

Mom, I'm Hungry
A funny in my tummy
I want to eat something yummy
I grabbed the phone to call my mommy
And told her, 'mom, I am hungry'
When my mom came home she baked me a cake
I munched and I crunched the cake she had baked
After a while my stomach had growl
The word mommy I just howl
My mom came as quickly as she could
And gave me snacks that looked so good
She gave fruits that looked so nice
And a glass of water she filled with ice
After I ate
My stomach had ache
I never knew I ate so many
I'll never eat food so plenty
I always say 'Mom, I'm hungry' at our house or even outside. I made this when I was in the 6th grade.

Happiness rarely keeps company with an empty stomach.
In The Foreign Land (Sa Banyagang Lupa)
In this foreign land
is where I live.
Here,
I am blessed
and never had
been hungry.
But,
to the land where I came from
is where my thoughts are.
I beg you not
to say anything
because in my heart
is already a great suffering.
I beg you also,
not to ask me to go home now
because I cannot bear
any more pain
of a hungry stomach
and bitterness of humilliation
from a fellow countryman
whose wealth is ill-gotten
and whose talent is not refined.

Understanding the Animals
the stomach is an animal
it can be the best of pets
if you can talk to it, get it
to listen and understand you
you can talk to your stomach
to lessen the flood of gastric juices
yon can calm it down by
chanting to it a mantra of peace
and when you have mastered
the art to handle your stomach
transfer that knowledge to any animal
it soon will also nod to you at your every word
understanding your belly s key to understand an animal
talk to it like you talk to the belly
the common bond between all animals
you either live to go into one or live to feed one

Feels So Good
Feels good
Im stranded on a spaceship hideaway
And something makes me think Im here to stay
Im so happy where I am
Feels good
Ive journeyed to the other atmospheres
And every breath I take just makes it clear
Im holding heaven in my hands
Its automatic baby and it feels good
And it feels so good
Feels good
And it feels so good
Feels good
These extra-sensory sensations
Are causing me some complications
Electrostatic information
Feels good
Im playing with a pleasure trafficker
Arriving soon intergalactica
Im holding heaven in my hands
Its automatic baby and it feels good
Feels good
Feels good
Feels good
Feels good
And it feels so good
Feels good
And it feels so good
Feels good
And it feels so good
Feels good
And it feels so good
Feels good
Feels so good
Feels so good
Feels so good
Feels good
Feels so good
Feels so good
Feels so good
Feels good
Im stranded on a spaceship hideaway
Feels good
And it feels so good
Feels good
And it feels so good
Feels good
And it feels so good
Feels good
And it feels so good
Feels good
And it feels so good

And it feels so good

The Red Bird Lives
A red bird lands to rest
Upon a tree branch.
The red bird chirps
For his sibling,
The cat takes notice, quietly
It watches his prey,
The cat figure it had his
Dinner..
Slowly the cat takes aim
And leaps for the red bird.
The red bird takes flight to
To join his sibling.
The cats loses,
But the red bird lives to chirp
Chirp another day..
The cat meow while his stomach
Growls,
The cat watches for another
Chance to feed his hungry
Stomach..
So, the cat meows hoping
For a meal,
To cure his empty stomach..

Once Having Had Common Sense
When one's mind has been blazed,
To value the blinging of shiny things...
And the ease of a quickly made dollar,
Who then martyrs themselves to announce...
That to worship such things,
Produces in the mind disaster?
Who today is foolish enough to do that?
Has anyone ever seen a rabid dog...
Wagging its tail with a wish to play?
Rarely do these scenes come to us,
To experience personally.
Without acknowledging some pain.
And an awakening to regain 'something'...SOMETHING,
That reminds one of once having had common sense.

(V - 2004) The Lad who was called Mad
People called him mad.
Many a days
He came to my mother
He would then say
‘There is fire in my stomach’
My mother would then hurry her cooking
Soon she would serve
Rice and curry
Spiced with love and care.
He would eat to his full
And at the very next door
He would again say
‘There is fire in my stomach –
I am hungry still’
And so one day
I looked deep into him
Wondered what his hunger was for
And saw fire in his heart.
Still, he little knew that
He simply said, ‘there is fire in my stomach’
And people called him mad.
He was a sensitive lad
Some had led him astray
So he lost his senses,
Lost his way
And people called him mad.
This hurt him more
Still he had them guide him.
So, finally one day
Into the temple pond
He drowned himself
To quell for ever
The fire in him
And then the people
Who had called him mad
Said with pity, ‘Oh, how sad! ’
A hungry stomach cannot hear.

Pain In The Guts Of The Man In The Gutter
the gutter is not the nicest place to live
all the while you are too common and unnecessary
dispensable like a woman's napkin
but you live there just the same
there is pain in your stomach
you lose your guts
and when you die they do not mind at all
all people die anyway
and always there are others who replace you
from where you are
and then you are forgotten
you try to write some things in your journal
hoping that someone accidentally reads them
and you may have justified
your having been here, for once
they have no time and they too have many things to do
always
they come and go and leave and die and then finally forgotten
like nothing is really significant in this world
just like them
and you
and so why bother, why?

When ego is fed…
Someone would remember me:
My stomach goes full.
Someone would be grateful to me:
My stomach goes full.
Someone would broadcast of me:
My stomach goes full.
Someone would long for me:
My stomach goes full.
Whenever ego gets food,
The stomach is fed without food.

We Rarely See
In our busy world, we rarely see
what is right before our eyes.
The sky that leaks its teardrops
to cleanse and refresh the day.
The two hearts that beat as one
before one of them has to go away.
The patterns of a snowflake
on a wintry day.
The turning of each season
that passes on its way.
We rarely see the things we should
that help to shape our lives
as we are trapped on the treadmill
of earning money to pay our way.
One day we may notice them
when we step off the treadmill
letting the rest of the world
go on its merry way.
Then we will see what we rarely see
the life and love we are living.

The 13th
'everyone feels good in a room' she swings
'two chord cool in a haze' she sings
'a-buzz a-buzz a-buzzing like them killer bees...'
tell me this is not for real
please tell me this is not for real...
from time to time her eyes get wide
she's always got them stuck on me
i'm surprised at how hot honey-covered and hungry she looks
and I have to turn away to keep from bursting
yeah I feel that good!
she slips from the stage
a foot no more
but it seems to take an hour for her to reach the floor
and the two chord cool still grooves
as she slides to us as smooth as a snake
i can't smile, I just start to shake
and I just know this is a big mistake
yeah but it feels good
do it to me! ...
'if you want I can take you on another kind of ride...'
'believe me I would but...'
deep inside the 'but' is 'please'
i am yearning for another taste
and my shaking is 'yes'
'you will be all the things in the world you've never been
see all the things in a world you've never seen
dream all the things in a world you'll never dreamed...'
but I think I get a bit confused...
am I seducing or being seduced?
oh I know that tomorrow I'll feel bad
but I really couldn't care about that
she's grinning, singing, spinning me round and round
smiling as I start to fall
her face gets big, her face gets small
it's like tonight I'm really not me at all
and it feels good!
do it to me! ...
it feels good!

Feels Like The First Time
I would climb any mountain
Sail across a stormy sea
If thats what it takes me baby
To show you how much you mean to me
And I guess its just the woman in you
That brings out the man in me
I know I cant help myself
Youre all in the world to me
It feels like the first time
Feels like the very first time
It feels like the first time
It feels like the very first time
I have waited a lifetime
Spent my time so foolishly
But now that Ive found you
Together well make history
And I know that it must be the woman in you
That brings out the man in me
I know I cant help myself
Youre all that my eyes can see
And it feels like the first time
Like it never did before
Feels like the first time
Like weve opened up the door
Feels like the first time
Like it never will again, never again
Feels like the first time, it feels like the first time
It feels like the very first time, very, very, it feels
It feels like the first time, oh it feels like the first time
It feels like the very first time
Open up the door, wont you open up the door? yeah
Feels like the first time
And it feels like the very first time
And it feels like the first time
It feels like the very first time
And it feels like the first time
It feels like the very first time
Oh it feels, it feels like the first time
Yeah it feels like the first time
