Understanding the Animals
the stomach is an animal
it can be the best of pets
if you can talk to it, get it
to listen and understand you
you can talk to your stomach
to lessen the flood of gastric juices
yon can calm it down by
chanting to it a mantra of peace
and when you have mastered
the art to handle your stomach
transfer that knowledge to any animal
it soon will also nod to you at your every word
understanding your belly s key to understand an animal
talk to it like you talk to the belly
the common bond between all animals
you either live to go into one or live to feed one

Physical
I'm saying all the things that I know you like
Making good conversation
I've gotta handle you just right
You know what I mean
I took you to an intimate restaurant
Then to a suggestive movie
There's nothing left to talk about
Unless it's horizontally
Let's get physical, physical
I wanna get physical
Let's get into physical
Let me hear your body talk, your body talk
Let me hear your body talk
I've been patient, I've been good
Tried to keep my hands on the table
Oh it's getting hard to hold me back
You know what I mean
I'm sure you understand my point of view
We know each other better
You've gotta know you're bringing out
The animal in me
Let's get physical, physical
I wanna get physical
Let's get into physical
Let me hear your body talk, your body talk
Let me hear your body talk
(Physical) I wanna get physical
Let's get into physical
Let me hear your body talk, your body talk
Let me hear your body talk
(Get physical)
(Do you hear me)
(Mmm, yeah)
(C'mon)
(I know you want me)
(Physical)
Woah, yeah
Physical, physical, physical
I wanna get physical
Let's get into physical
Let me hear your body talk, your body talk
Let me hear your body talk
I wanna get physical, physical
I wanna get physical
Let's get into physical
Let me hear your body talk, your body talk
Let me hear your body talk
Let's get physical, physical
I wanna get physical

Cleansing
Cleanse my stomach with the juice so partnered
With the juices of destruction, so self-destroy!
How did not the figure of speech alleviate the drug
So wallowing in your talking stomach of waste?
Saying the honesty is greater than food to boast,
And this is the spying of regretful might.
A saw is taken to wear the clothes damaging me,
Therefore we speak of the riches in our belly.
The belly aches after caring for you, and I am
Solid and liquid and gas, and all the fluids of rarity.

Straight Talk
Gimme some straight talk, straight talk -- and hold the sugar please
Straight talk, straight talk -- sounds plenty sweet to me
Dont talk to me in circles in some mumbo-jumbo jive
Gimme just straight talk, straight talk and were gonna be alright
cause I like to know just where I stand, I dont like guessing games
And I hate a bunch of gibberish, so just spit it out real plain
Dont use big educated words from your bs degree
Straight talk, straight talk -- dont try b.s.-ing me
Straight talk, straight talk -- turn loose and let it go
You can tell me anything -- just like on oprahs show
Just tell me how you really feel, be on the up and up
With questions I can understand -- for answers you can trust
Pick up the phone, youre not alone -- weve all got something to say
So listen in and listen up -- well find a better way
With honesty and common sense, its really hard to miss
Straight talk, straight talk -- just tellin it like it is
Straight talk, straight talk -- theres nothing like the truth
Just tell me all your troubles -- pretend Im donahue
So dont be shy, cause we can talk -- you know youve got a friend
Call me, call me -- for simple straight talkin
Whats cookin, america?
Straight talk, straight talk
Straight talk, straight talk
So some on lets talk turkey, just straight and to the point
About passions, about problems, about noses out of joint
Now I want you all to know I care and I do understand
And hey, thanks for lending me and ear out there in radioland
Give me some straight talk, straight talk -- dont sugar coat it please
Straight talk, straight talk -- sounds sweet enough to me
But dont talk to me in circles, in your mumbo-jumbo jive
Straight talk, straight talk -- and were gonna be alright
Straight talk, straight talk -- makes plenty sense to me
Dont talk to me in circles, in your mumbo-jumbo jive
Gimme just straight talk, straight talk -- and were gonna be alright
Gimme just straight talk, straight talk -- and were gonna be alright

Animal Rights Human Wrongs
this must be wrong what humans do
to breed animals to use as food
chefs disguise the flesh in such a way
that as children we do not realise
a animal has died for our dish of the day
vegetarians will not be deceived
they will get by eating their greens
there are enough vegetables to go around
one day a empty stomach will not be found
in years to come people will not conceive
the suffering we created just so we could feed
and to fill the pockets of weakness with greed
religious people hold the key
to the animals right to be free
before you say your prayers tonight
you religious people who think you are so right
please spare a thought for animal rights

Dont Talk
[ dennis drew/natalie merchant ]
Dont talk, I will listen.
Dont talk, you keep your distance
For Id rather hear some truth tonight than entertain your lies,
So take you poison silently.
Let me be. let me close my eyes.
Dont talk, Ill believe it.
Dont talk, listen to me instead,
I know that if you think of it, both long enough and hard
The drink you drown your troubles in is the trouble youre in now.
Talk talk talk about it, if you talk as if you care
But when your talk is over tilt that bottle in the air,
Tossing back more than your share.
Dont talk, I can guess it.
Dont talk, well now your restless
And you need somewhere to put the blame for how you feel inside.
Youll look for a close and easy mark and youll see me as fair game.
Talk talk talk about it, talk as if you care
But when your talk is over tilt that bottle in the air
Tossing back more than your share.
You talk talk talk about it, you talk as if you care.
Im marking every word and can tell this time for sure,
Your talk is the finest I have heard.
So dont talk, let me go on dreaming.
How your eyes they glow so fiercely I can tell your inspired
By the name you chose for me. now what was it? o, never mind it.
We will talk talk talk about this when your head is clear.
Ill discuss this in the morning, but until then you may talk but I wont hear.

Permit Me To Say It
alright, we are short of the patience
to understand,
let us talk, let us remove the condition
of having to talk with sense,
that is not important anymore
we talk together, let there be no
objective of having to understand
what is this
or what is that
what do i mean and what do you mean
it is at this point when both of
us are angry
very angry indeed
let us scream and shout
let the neighbors hear that we are at war
they will not understand
neither will i understand this
let the pressure rise
and let that be released
that is what is important
we scream together
and if everything is gone
and done
let us talk again
this time, i will be patient
and this time you must
also try to listen.

Talk To Me
When I see you, girl you turn my head, you make me dizzy
I get a good vibration
When I look into your big blue eyes, I start to quiver and shake
I get a strange sensation
When you walk by me you strut around, you make me crazy, I get no relaxation
Talk to me, talk to me, all I want is a little conversation
Talk to me, talk to me, all I want is a little conversation, talk to me
People tell me that you run around and that youre no good
You got a bad reputation
I dont care what all the people say, you know they talk too much
Its a fascination
All I wanna do is talk to you and maybe go out, and form some kind of relation
So talk to me, talk to me, all I want is a little conversation
Talk to me, talk to me, all I want is a little conversation
Talk to me, talk to me, talk to me, talk to me - why dont you
Talk to me - cmon and talk to me
I just wanna talk to you
Girl I wish you knew the way I felt, you think Im silly, that its infatuation
So we better get together soon, because I need you girl
I cant stand the frustration, so
Talk to me, talk to me, all I want is a little conversation
Talk to me, talk to me, all I want is a little conversation
Talk to me, talk to me, all I want is a little conversation
Talk to me, talk to me, talk to me, talk to me - why dont you
Talk to me - cmon and talk to me
Talk to me, talk to me, talk to me - I just wanna talk to you

Lets Talk About Tomorrow
(olivia newton-john/amy sky/john capek)
Life
A gift we cannot take for granted
We gotta live it right
We are the parents of our planet
Weve touched the moon and built the final gun
If war was food we could feed everyone
Talk about the children
What will be their legacy
If they have a future
It is up to you and me
Talk about forever
For we may not have that long
Oh, its now or never
Lets talk about
Lets talk about tomorrow
Trees, animals and seas
Were all connected
They have a right to be
But they cant ask to be protected
I feel the rain--burning from the sky
We are to blame--if we just close our eyes
Talk about the children
What will be their legacy
If they have a future
It is up to you and me
Talk about forever
For we may not have that long
Oh, its now or never
Lets talk about
Lets talk about tomorrow
Its our only world
Please save us from ourselves
Talk about the children
What will be their legacy
If they have a future
It is up to you and me
Talk about forever
For we may not have that long
Oh, its now or never
Lets talk about
Lets talk about tomorrow

Let Us Talk About The Hunger
Let's talk about the children
Not the tigers trees or whales
Let's talk about the hunger.
Not the guns sins or jails
Let's talk about the innocent blood
Not god faith or prophets
Let's talk about the tears.
Maybe then we can stop it
Let's talk about the reason
Children sleep out in the cold
I'm tired of the greenhouse speech
It's getting a little old.
Let's talk about the meaning
Of why the world is blind
Sound asleep and dreaming
Everyone has words to cure.
Silent are the voices
When human blood is spilled
Before we save the whales and trees
Let's talk about truth
Children come before the trees
Let's discuss the root.
A noble act indeed
But if we spent it on the children
We would give meaning to the seed
Let's talk about the day
We set the children free
Show them they are loved
More than any animal or tree

A Best Emperor!
Besides poet, people birds, animals too love freedom;
Lion may be king of jungle but elephant is emperor!
This big, best emperor called gentle giant is humble
And accepts to bless devotes, escort Temple deities!
This huge animal emperor is kept as van in temple slot,
A humiliating sight to see, yet it humbly accepts the role!
For stomach satisfying food emperor surrenders, serves
And sustains with faith and gratitude to men and God!
A wonder to see freedom loving natural animal living so!
Is it a fate or destiny for the best emperor to live so here?
Child like and divine looking elephant is chiseled as God
Called as Lord Ganesha is animal, man and divine in one!
When will this big, best emperor get freedom from man
Know not, think I, whenever I see standing before Temple?

Let's Talk About Love
Everywhere I go all the places that I've been
Every smile is a new horizon on a land I've never seen
There are people around the world - different faces different names
But there's one true emotion that reminds me we're the same...
Lets talk about love
From the laughter of a child to the tears of a grown man
There's a thread that runs right through us all and helps us understand
As subtle as a breeze - that fans a flicker to a flame
From the very first sweet melody to the very last refrain...
Lets talk about love
Lets talk about us
Lets talk about life
Lets talk about trust
Lets talk about love
It's the king of all who live and the queen of good hearts
It's the ace you may keep up your sleeve - 'til the name is all but lost
As deep as any sea - with the rage of any storm
But as gentle as a falling leaf on any autumn morn...
Lets talk about love - it's all were needin'
Lets talk about us - it's the air we're breathin'
Lets talk about life - I wanna know you
Lets talk about trust - and I wanna show you
Lets talk about love

Talking To Yourself
you talk to yourself
because you can talk to nobody
because you have talked to the tree beside you
and it is not enough
to unload what burdens you
this thing that fills your head that bloats
your stomach
this hubris
this angst
this thing that kills the beating of your heart
which shames love and which
diminishes your faith
you talk to yourself because there is no sense
talking to them
these judgmental creatures
without ears and erased eyes
those that do not feel
those who have died ahead of you
and yet still pretend
to know and touch you
you talk to yourself everyday
now you feel so light and then you begin to flap your wings
and fly away forever

Understanding and Knowledge
Those who know don’t talk;
Those who talk don’t know;
Those who speak don’t write;
Those who write don’t speak.
Those who think don’t actions;
Those who actions don’t think;
Those who think don’t judge;
Those who judge don’t do.
Small understanding is no match for great understanding;
Small knowledge cannot understand great knowledge knows.
Great wisdom has great understanding;
Great knowledge has wise sayings.
Great knowledge and understanding is wide and vast;
Small knowledge and understanding is trivial and cramped.
Great speech blaze forth as a huge fire;
Small speech is empty and trivial.
We understand what is appropriate;
Because of what we understand to be inappropriate.
We understand right;
Because of our understanding of wrong.
Use the light of wisdom to see,
Beyond the world of right and wrong.
One can only really understand things,
By understanding one’s true self.

Closer
Closer
You let me violate you, you let me desecrate you
You let me penetrate you, you let me complicate you
Help me I broke apart my insides, help me Ive got no
Soul to tell
Help me the only thing that works for me, help me get
Away from myself
I want to f**k you like an animal
I want to feel you from the inside
I want to f**k you like an animal
My whole existence is flawed
You get me closer to god
You can have my isolation, you can have the hate that
It brings
You can have my absence of faith, you can have my
Everything
Help me tear down my reason, help me its your sex i
Can smell
Help me you make me perfect, help me become somebody
Else
I want to f**k you like an animal
I want to feel you from the inside
I want to f**k you like an animal
My whole existence is flawed
You get me closer to god
Through every forest, above the trees
Within my stomach, scraped off my knees
I drink the honey inside your hive
You are the reason I stay alive

Wild Animals
When you look at wild animals
they are breathtaking,
so pure and natural.
If the animal looks you in the eyes
you can feel connected.
If the animal walks up to you
takes food from your hand,
you can feel trust.
When the animal keeps returning
for food,
you can feel needed.
By mistake
you take the animal home,
you can feel complete.
Time goes on
you look into the animals eyes,
you can feel sadness.
Knowing that
you have to return the animal to the wild,
you can feel loss.
When you let the animal go,
it runs!
Animal
Hey what's the big deal?
Tell me how to feel?
I know where we boomeranged and fell from grace.
Point me to the stars I'm up for the chase.
I know where we fell on our face.
Jump with me.
You jump with me.
HEY, WHAT'S THE BIG DEAL-
I'M AN ANIMAL.
I'M AN ANIMAL.
I'M AN ANIMAL.
I don't wanna boomerang.
I don't wanna cannonball.
I'm not angling.
I don't want to fall.
Tell me I'm the anchor of my own ascension.
Tell me I'm a tourist in the 4th dimension?
HEY, WHAT'S THE BIG DEAL-
I'M AN ANIMAL.
I'M AN ANIMAL.
I'M AN ANIMAL.
[bridge] work it out.
I am vibrating at the speed of light.
Take my hand, we'll wind up the night.
Spin me, win me, lift me, kiss me.
Trip me, trust me, cuss me, judge me.
touch me now.
you take my hand.
you trust me now
you understand.
SO, WHAT'S THE BIG DEAL-
I'M AN ANIMAL.
I'M AN ANIMAL.
I'M AN ANIMAL. repeat
I am vibrating at the speed of light.

Drivin With Your Eyes Closed
I met a frenchman in a field last night
He was out there with an easel,
Painting carnival light
He said, I used to paint the princess;
I used to paint the frogs
Now I paint mustaches on dangerous dogs
He said, sometimes its a country;
Sometimes its a girl
You, everybody got to have a purpose
In this world
You yankees are so silly about matters of
The heart
Dont you know that women are the only
Works of art
Youre drivin with your eyes closed
Youre drivin with your eyes closed
Youre drivin with your eyes closed
Youre gonna hit somethin
But thats the way it goes
Some guys were born to rimbaud
Some guys breathe baudelaire
Some guys just got to go and put
Their rockets everywhere
You can breed em by the thousands;
You can trick and you can train
Just look at all those poor dogs that are
Dragged down bu the seine
How many arrows must I shoot into the
Blue?
Ah, you little maniac, Im crazy over you
Before the dearth of lovers and
The punishment of pride
Lets go scrape out on the terrazzo
Its just to hot outside
Youre drivin with your eyes closed
Youre drivin with your eyes closed
Youre drivin with your eyes closed
Youre gonna hit somethin
But thats the way it goes
Talk talk, talk and talk
Talk talk, sweet talk
Talk talk, tough talk
Talk talk, dirty talk
Talk talk, walk and talk
Talk talk, big talk
Kiss kiss, kiss
Talk talk, talk and talk
Talk talk, smooth talk
Talk talk, body talk
Talk talk, back talk
Talk talk, small talk
Talk talk, baby talk
Talk talk, peace talk
Talk talk, bullshit
