In the next shot the cameras zoomed to the fiancee who noticed the lights in the Czarina's room go out and the camera then turned to the pond where two goldfish were making love.

We had the guys from X Men 2 do the cameras. They had a 360 camera that would go from one car, up in the air and over to another car in a continuous shot while the film was still rolling, going 90 mph.

Smile For The Camera
I see you standing out there in the hall
You seem so nervous waiting for his call
I focus on you
I reach for the lens
The shutter snaps again
(smile)
Smile for the camera
You know
(smile)
The camera never ever lies
Ive been watching you with
Eager hungry eyes
For sometime
(smile)
I hold my lens in the middle of the night
Visions of you dancing in the strobe light
Up on my wall is a picture or two
Of someone who looks like you
(smile)
Smile for the camera
You know
(smile)
The camera is my wide lens
(smile)
You know the camera is my private eye
I got color transparencies
I got black and white

Peg
Ive seen your picture
Your name in lights above it
This is your big debut
Its like a dream come true
And when you smile for the camera
I know theyre gonna love it
I like your pin shot
I keep it with your letter
Done up in blueprint blue
It sure looks good on you
So wont you smile for the camera
I know Ill love you better
Peg
It will come back to you
Peg
It will come back to you
Then the shutter falls
You see it all in 3-d
Its your favorite foreign movie

When Your Lights Turned On
(hicks / clarke / nash)
If I see the lights on in your room
If I see the lights on I call on you
Its a signal that hes gone
So Ill call you when your lights turned on
And Ill be happy to wait up until he goes
And Ill be happy to wait up until I know
That the coasts clear its all right
So Ill call you when your lights turned on
Everything you say about me gets right home
Thats why I put up with you this way
Everything you say about me gets right home
I wish that he would go and I could stay
That the coasts clear its all right
So Ill call you when youre lights turned on
Verse 3
Just for how long can our love go on like this
If you thought more about me youd end all this
But when your lights on its all right
So Ill call you when youre lights turned on

4. A Fishy Tale
A haven for wet wildlife
Within our pond there’s load’s
Lots of newts and tadpoles
And many ugly toads
Swimming in among the weeds
A goldfish only one
We once had two shabumkins
But now we haven't none
I found some telltale footprints
Showing heron came to call
He’d eaten our shabumkins
And left us none at all
Last night we kept a vigil
And caught the neighbour’s cat
As he polished off the goldfish
So that’s the end of that

Chemin De Fer
Alone on the railroad track
I walked with pounding heart.
The ties were too close together
or maybe too far apart.
The scenery was impoverished:
scrub-pine and oak; beyond
its mingled gray-green foliage
I saw the little pond
where the dirty old hermit lives,
lie like an old tear
holding onto its injuries
lucidly year after year.
The hermit shot off his shot-gun
and the tree by his cabin shook.
Over the pond went a ripple
The pet hen went chook-chook.
"Love should be put into action!"
screamed the old hermit.
Across the pond an echo
tried and tried to confirm it.

Teardrops Will Fall
I read your letter, darlin'
Tears filled my eyes
All of the promises you made were nothing but lies
So I turned your photograph around face to the wall
And when I dim the lights in my room tonight
Teardrops will fall
Teardrops will fall tonight
Tears I can't hide
Tears that I'd rather keep
Deep down inside
Tears fall
And love is gone beyond these walls
And when I dim the lights in my room tonight
Teardrops will fall
I'm gonna pray tonight, baby
Hopin' you will hear
And maybe you'll write all those wrongs
And dry each tear
I sit alone tonight
Hopin' you will call
And when I dim the lights in my room tonight
Teardrops will fall
Teardrops will fall tonight
Tears I can't hide
Tears that I'd rather keep
Deep down inside
Tears fall
And love is gone beyond these walls
And when I dim the lights in my room tonight
Teardrops will fall
Teardrops will fall tonight
Tears I can't hide
Tears that I'd rather keep
Deep down inside
Tears fall
And love is gone beyond these walls
And when I dim the lights in my room tonight
When I dim the lights in my room tonight
Teardrops will fall

You'd Be Making a Lot More Money
Why don't you go somewhere else,
Where you can become more 'noticed'.
'Noticed?
Noticed for what? '
What it is that you do.
'I don't know what you mean by that,
However...
What makes you 'think' I am not noticed? '
You can't be.
Not here.
'Oh...
I see where you're going with this.
You mean 'noticed' in a way,
That celebrities and stars are noticed'
Yeah, yeah...
Exactly.
'So you can say you know me?
Is that it? '
NAW!
So 'you' can be happy!
'And...
I'm not happy? '
You can't be!
'Why? '
Because you live 'here'!
'OH...
So I can not be happy,
Doing exactly what I choose to do...
AND live here.
Is that it? '
People don't have respect,
For someone like you...
Here!
'And what makes you think,
I am not accustomed to being disrespected?
That has nothing to do with what it is I do.
Nor my choice to live here.
I love what I do.
I love where I live.
I love the people I come in contact with.
Why would I choose to go somewhere else?
I can expect to get disrespected.
AND...
Check it out!
That has helped me achieve my success!
And I couldn't afford to get that anywhere else,
But right here.
That may seem foolish to you!
But my mama didn't raise no fools! '
You'd be making a lot more money!
'To have you calling me every five minutes,
To borrow some?
No thanks! '

Talk Shows On Mute
Take a bow
Pack on powder
Wash em out with buzzing lights
Pay an audience to care
Impress me personality
Still and transfixed
The electric sheep are dreaming of your face
Enjoy you from
The chemical comfort of America
Come one, come all!
Into 1984
Yeah, three, two, one...
Lights! Camera! Transaction!
Quick, your time
Is almost up
Make em forget that they're the moth
Edging in
Towards the flame
Burn into obscurity.
Still and transfixed
The electric sheep are dreaming up your fate
We judge you from
The card castle comfort of America.
Come one, come all
Into 1984
Yeah three, two, one...
Lights! Camera! Transaction.
Your foundation
Is canyoning
Fault lines should be worn with pride
I hate to say it (but)
You're so much more
You're so much more...
Endearing with the sound turned off...

One Shot At Love
One shot
Oh lord
You know, its gonna be a lot of negative things surroundin you
Tryin to pull you down
But what you have to remember is
Its up to you - its your choice
You only get one shot in life
And you only get one shot at love
Did you ever notice - everytime you fall in love
And it seems like you finally met the perfect match
Everything is perfect, it seems divine
But for some strange reason, theres always a catch
Its a one-way relationship, it hurts inside
One person smirks while the other one cries
Butterflies in the stomach of the one whose in love
It cuts like a knife, the truth mixed with lies
One shot (one shot at love..)
One shot at love, one shot (one shot at love..)
One shot at love, one shot (one shot at love..)
One shot at love, one shot (one shot at love..)
Thats all you get
Physical and mental, those are two different loves
Physicals a moment, mental is forever
If the physical fades and gets weak, all of a sudden
Remember, its the mental love that keeps you together
You gotta be strong and endure the hard times
Cause af-ter hard times, good times, always follow
And when youre kissin and huggin and makin love
Treat that person like theres no tomorrow
One shot (one shot at love..)
One shot at love, one shot (one shot at love..)
Thats all you get baby; one shot at love, one shot (one shot at love..)
One shot at love, one.. shot.. (one shot at love..)
Thats all you get {*sniff*}
Jealousy - dont let it interfere
Dont let it come in between
The love you two share, cause jealousys a hateful god
So merciless and mean
And its only job in life, is to ruin relationships
And pit two people against, one another
And because of this god, the one you love so much
Will no longer be your lover
One shot (one shot at love..)
Aww baby, one shot at love, one shot (one shot at love..)
Thats all we get, one shot at love, one shot (one shot at love..)
I mean this baby, one shot at love, one shot (one shot at love..)
Thats all..
I hope you understand what I just said
All Im sayin is that you only get one shot at love in life
And you have to hold on to that shot, take advantage of it
Cause when you lose it, its gonna hurt real bad
Take it from me
You only get one shot, and I mean that
One shot
You only get you only get you only get one (2x)
One shot at love..
You only get you only get you only get one (2x)
One shot at love..
You only get you only get you only get one (2x)
One shot at love..
You only get you only get you only get one (2x)
One shot at love.. {*fades*}

Love 4 Fun
So you think you got it all worked out
And what youre searching for
Isnt what you found
Up in this world thats on the run
A lot of hits but only a few
Number ones
Im making love for fun
Are you looking for a holiday
Im making love for fun
Why would you do it any other way
Im making good
On everything I said
So baby just relax
And let me do my thing
Up in my world you better run
Theres only room
For the few who can come
Im making love for fun
Are you looking for a holiday
Im making love for fun
Why would you do it any other way
When you dont have a place to go
When everything feels the same
I can change what you think you know
Making love my way
Im making love for fun
Are you looking for a holiday
Im making love for fun
Why would you do it any other way
Im making love for fun
Are you looking for a holiday
Im making love for fun
Why would you do it any other way

Sparky's Inside Your Cat
My dad bought me a goldfish,
Of him I was really fond,
His jar was really far too small,
So my dad built me a pond.
I called my goldfish Sparky,
In honour of my dad,
Full of life and boisterous,
He really was quite mad.
My neighbour used to say to me,
I don't want you to fret,
But if you don't watch your goldfish,
He'll make a meal for my nice pet.
She said her cat liked real fish,
That really made me worry,
I'd have to buy a safety net,
I needed it in a hurry.
Despite all my precautions,
I felt really put upon,
For when I checked on Sparky,
I found that he had gone.
I really did my best for him,
My God how hard I tried,
Yet despite all my best efforts,
My Sparky had now died.
When My neighbour heard me crying,
She asked me what was wrong,
When I told her what had happened,
She said you must be strong.
It's what nature had intended,
The cat has got its wish,
My feline friend has won the day,
It has ate your little fish.
I said to her well such is life,
One cannot tell a lie,
Everything alive on Earth,
Including cats must die.
It was then I knew the answer,
For my pain to be relieved,
If I dug a grave for Sparky,
I'd feel that I had grieved.
When I prepared his resting place,
I put in all his toys,
My neighbor then peered over and said
Who's making all that noise.
I said I was burying Sparky,
To ease my awful pain,
I explained he'd gone to Heaven,
But one day we'd meet again.
My neighbour burst out laughing,
She said don't be so absurd,
You don't even have his last remains,
She hadn't listened to a word.
She laughingly then asked me,
Why dig a grave as big as that,
I told her the reason was simple,
‘'Sparky's Inside Your Cat''
Water so Deep and Profound
Water so sinuous and devious,
And as mystifying as you.
Water is always hiding its true self,
Never in one form.
Water can be the shimmer,
Reflecting off the light of the pond,
Making the pond seem magnificent.
Water can be the rushing sound,
As it escapes the secretive pond,
And runes down into the vast ocean,
Seeking adventure and unfound dreams.
Water can be the feeling of calmness,
As it sits there, overlooking the pond,
With wonder and seeing how it made it what it is.
Water so supple and wondrous,
The pond is born from the water.
Water so deep and profound,
Just like you,
The pond so incomplete without water,
Just like your family.

Medellia Of The Gray Skies
you're an empty promise, you're an easy chair
you're the gods forces struck down somewhere
you're a secret noticed, you're a mystery sky
you're a wish floated up to the night
medellia of my eyes, you're the emptiness of i
you're the reason that i write
and if you say you will. i will love you still
and if i could, i'd throw away this world
i'd dress you all in pearls
i'd give you what you wanted
you're all i notice in a crowded room
you're vacant motives unmoved, revealed
medellia of my eyes, you're the emptiness of i
you're the reason that i drive
and if you say you will. i will love you still
and if i just could be anything for you
just anyone at all
anything that mattered, washed out
you're the silly reasons in a goldfish laugh
you're the ageless season at rest at last

You Are One Of A Kind
Can you tell me 'why' is it,
When you make a visit to my home...
It's as if you are making a grand entrance?
And everyone has their eyes focused upon you.
Why can't you enter like everyone else?
With less...
flair!
'Actually,
I had not noticed 'how' I entered your home.
However...
I can make a suggestion.
And we could practice it if you like? '
Anything other than that smoke machine you use.
'You know I am only teasing.'
I'm not so sure.
What's your suggestion?
'I'll call before I arrive.
I'll enter through the back door.
You then turn off the lights.
And...
As soon as you believe I am standing,
In the middle of your living room...
Turn on the lights.
And then I'll simply say...
'SURPRISE'.
Although not as exciting,
As my arrival unexpectedly.
But...
I do think the touch,
Will ease that 'flair business' you dislike.
You want to try it?
'You are one of a kind! '
I have other entrances from which you can select,
If you like?
I am only here to be a guest.
Not to absorb all of the attention,
As you suspect happens.

The One
'Come over here' he said
'Let's you and me
talk private.
I've noticed you
noticing me
and I wonder if
that is illusion
and am I making it up
or if it is true
and you did
notice me.
If not fine
I'm gone.
If so
let's talk.
What is the truth?
She:
'Yes I noticed you-
I saw you;
I mean
but that is all-
I noticed'
He: 'Well what did you think of me
when you noticed me?
Did you like me? '
She: ,
'Like you?
I don't know you'
.
'Well what did you think.
Well I thought you, , , ,
Actually I didn't
I wasn't thinking
I was just noticing?
'
Ok, nothing
no spark?
'No, no spark.'
In my twenties i would look into every
face and ask
are you my Future One?
And each face I peered into
would be examined and evaluated
and ultimately graded
and done within 3 seconds.
But if one
noticed me
noticing
I would end up
in conversations
like the above one.
