Neighborhood Bully
Well, the neighborhood bully, hes just one man,
His enemies say hes on their land.
They got him outnumbered about a million to one,
He got no place to escape to, no place to run.
Hes the neighborhood bully.
The neighborhood bully just lives to survive,
Hes criticized and condemned for being alive.
Hes not supposed to fight back, hes supposed to have thick skin,
Hes supposed to lay down and die when his door is kicked in.
Hes the neighborhood bully.
The neighborhood bully been driven out of every land,
Hes wandered the earth an exiled man.
Seen his family scattered, his people hounded and torn,
Hes always on trial for just being born.
Hes the neighborhood bully.
Well, he knocked out a lynch mob, he was criticized,
Old women condemned him, said he should apologize.
Then he destroyed a bomb factory, nobody was glad.
The bombs were meant for him.
He was supposed to feel bad.
Hes the neighborhood bully.
Well, the chances are against it and the odds are slim
That hell live by the rules that the world makes for him,
cause theres a noose at his neck and a gun at his back
And a license to kill him is given out to every maniac.
Hes the neighborhood bully.
He got no allies to really speak of.
What he gets he must pay for, he dont get it out of love.
He buys obsolete weapons and he wont be denied
But no one sends flesh and blood to fight by his side.
Hes the neighborhood bully.
Well, hes surrounded by pacifists who all want peace,
They pray for it nightly that the bloodshed must cease.
Now, they wouldnt hurt a fly.
To hurt one they would weep.
They lay and they wait for this bully to fall asleep.
Hes the neighborhood bully.
Every empire thats enslaved him is gone,
Egypt and rome, even the great babylon.
Hes made a garden of paradise in the desert sand,
In bed with nobody, under no ones command.
Hes the neighborhood bully.
Now his holiest books have been trampled upon,
No contract he signed was worth what it was written on.
He took the crumbs of the world and he turned it into wealth,
Took sickness and disease and he turned it into health.
Hes the neighborhood bully.
Whats anybody indebted to him for?
Nothin, they say.
He just likes to cause war.
Pride and prejudice and superstition indeed,
They wait for this bully like a dog waits to feed.
Hes the neighborhood bully.
What has he done to wear so many scars?
Does he change the course of rivers?
Does he pollute the moon and stars?
Neighborhood bully, standing on the hill,
Running out the clock, time standing still,
Neighborhood bully.

When I Was A Child A Bully Would Challenge Me
When I was a child a bully would challenge me. He was bigger. I would run away. Over and over this went on. One morning I woke up from a dream in which I seem the bully punch some one I love over a fence. I was furious that morning. That morning the bully said something about my sister. Later that day we met at the park to fight. It was all set we would fight. It seemed as if every child from the school was there. I did not care. All that I seen, felt, all that ran through my mind was him punching my sister over the fence. The bully looked so surprised when I stepped into him and punched him right in the face. He started crying. When he got back to his feet the crowd of children were cheering. One of the older children ran in. He would not let him continue, blood poured from the bully's face. The older child might have sensed that I really would have changed the bully's life even more profoundly.

The Bully and Me
He was the neighborhood Nuisance
Each morning we heard his loud mouth
When he spoke he caused a disturbance
And he threw all his cigarettes about.
Actually he was just a nasty bully
Who suffered from very poor self-esteem
He speaks in that loud voice if only
To pretend he's much better, so it seems.
In that place where I worked was a cat
She would dropp by each morning for me
She would brush my leg and purr so that
I would bless her with food, hopefully.
One day this nasty bully took a slingshot
And hid behind our trellis fence to aim
At the innocent cat who lay on her mat
With the purpose of killing the same.
He fired one stone, hit the cat on the head
And in shock I went out to confront him
Heartbroken in tears, thought my cat was dead
Because of my anger, my mind grew dim.
At my height of five feet and two inches
I was a dwarf in the face of that bully
But I pushed him down the thorn bushes -
Well the guy was really afraid of me!
All of a sudden the cat got up and ran
Escaped through the fence by one leap
Never saw her again for a month
Missing her, I lost some good sleep.
Then one day I heard her familiar meow
And what joy - she came to the house!
Took her home with me and for all I know
That bully had turned into a silly mouse.
So now I have my cat and named her 'Muning'.

I'm Not A Bully
sometimes i say harsh-full things
and don't give a damn about
broken hearts, broken spirit shattering
to shards....
My bare knuckle may just collide
with their lips...but its only few blood that drip.
I may even be a telltale but
isn't it for their best?
I am not not bully though.
it is just apart of the bog circle of life-
'the weak will never prosperous'
it is okay to cry and sleep
I am not a bully.
I took no one's life and watch them die...
even though i may think it.
I'm not a bully

Me and Them
Why me, why them,
Why them, why me.
Just answer my question eh!
Bully me, bully them,
Bully them, bully me.
Maybe a her,
Maybe a he.
Peace for me, peace for them,
Peace for them, peace for me,
There's someone out there.
For everybody.

Bullies On Vacation
A bully enjoying his vacation
Oblivious to all our confrontations
Speaking fondly of his junior years
When I was fighting tears
A bully enjoying his vacation
I can taste the anger and the hate
I have come to set the record straight
Twenty years seems long enough to wait
A bully enjoying his vacation
Cruising with my nemesis on high seas
Five drinks, he doesnt recognize me
Full of anticipation
I dont notice his depression
Cruising with my nemesis on high seas
My act of concern is just to tease
Im about to send him to his knees
So close to force him begging please
He mentions terminal disease
A bully enjoying his vacation
And how he feels someone is dangling
His vile existence on a string
And now the sea hes conquering
Knows he can conquer anything
A bully enjoying his vacation
Aware of his terminal condition
Frustrated by my indecision
Knowing Id regret this very day
I hit him anyway
Aware of his terminal condition
Once again, he got the best of me
I left him conquering the sea
A bully enjoying his vacation

One of the great attractions of patriotism - it fulfills our worst wishes. In the person of our nation we are able, vicariously, to bully and cheat. Bully and cheat, what's more, with a feeling that we are profoundly virtuous.

My Bullying Days
I bully people all day long,
And each time I do so,
I sing a joyful song.
I always feel good
Whenever I beat the crap out of some guy.
It frequently makes them feel
That they want to die.
So, that pretty much concludes
My very, very, very short poem...
But what makes me be at my happiest
Is when I bully my mummy at home.

I grew up playing war. We threw dirt and rocks at each other. We'd lead attacks. We'd break up into squads. It became a neighborhood thing for a while, our neighborhood against the other neighborhood. There was always a war breaking out somewhere.

Who I wish I was, And Who I am
Who I wish I was,
Is someone who will stand and fight,
Someone who will not run,
Someone who wont be scared,
Someone with many friends,
Someone who is a hero,
Someone who will tackle the bully,
Someone who charges at danger,
Who I am,
Who I am is someone who will not stand to fight,
Someone who runs,
Someone who is to afraid,
Someone with little friends,
Someone who is a loner,
Someone who wont face a bully,
Someone who always looks back,
Can I ever be who I want to be,
Can I ever face someone and fight,
Can I be a hero,

Neighborhood Threat
Down where your paint is cracking
Look down you backstair buddy
Somebodys living there and
He dont really feel the weather
And he dont share your pleasures
No he dont share your pleasures
Look at his eyes
Did you see his crazy eyes
Youre so surprised he dont run to catch your ash
Everybody always wants to kiss your trash
Ah you cant help him
Nobody can
Now that he knows
Theres nothing to get
Will you still place your bet
On the neighborhood threat
Somewhere a babys bleeding
Somewhere a mothers needing
Outside a boy is lying
But mostly he is crying
And he just shouts in anger
Youll find him interesting
Look at his eyes
Did you see his crazy eyes
Youre so surprised he doesnt build for you
Everybody always wants to run with you
Ah you cant help him
Nobody can
Now that he knows
Theres nothing to get
Will you still place your bet
On the neighborhood threat
Youre so surprised he dont run to catch your ash
Everybody always wants to kiss your trash
Ah you cant help him
Nobody can
Now that he knows
Theres nothing to get
Will you still place your bet
On the neighborhood threat
On the neighborhood threat (a night in your face)
Dont place your bets (a night in your place)
On the neighborhood threat (will you still place your bets)
Dont place your bets (when the neighbor comes)
On the neighborhood threat (neighborhood threat)
Dont place yor bets
On the neigborhood threat

Bullied
Try to be,
Me,
For a day,
And you'll say hey,
Your life is bad,
So be a good lad,
Don't bully me,
Cause you see,
You make me,
Angry.
I become frightened,
And you become enlightened.
Do you enjoy being mean,
And having more green?
Well,
I don't.
Please stop,
Before you get hurt.
I might be weak,
But I am strong.
You might be stronger,
But your weaker.
I'ld like to say,
That you weight,
Alot more,
Then I.
Please don't bully me,
Please don't hurt me.
I am weak,
But strong.
You are strong,
But weak.
So be strong like me,
Cause I'm real angry.

No More Than A Coward
That very word bully can bring on such fear,
They are so unruly their cruelty can sear,
Their sole aim in life is to be the bearer,
Of terrible strife they love to cause terror.
They can be scary to those victims they choose,
But they're always wary about who they abuse,
They pick on the lonely and pounce on the meek,
Their intention is only to terrorise the weak.
It is only fun is their sickening excuse,
They'll use any reason to dish out abuse,
Their personal involvement they always deny,
If truth be told their whole life is a lie.
It's not gender based it's both female and male,
In evil they're encased for they pick on the frail,
Their age is no barrier they're both young and old,
Of disease they're the carrier their actions are cold.
An audience is required that helps bullies thrive,
It gets them all fired it makes them feel alive,
You get bullies at work or with children at play,
All over they lurk every hour every day.
They are all around us bullying adults and kids,
When they're driven to ground their life hits the skids,
There's a sure fire way that they can be beat,
If you cause them affray they'll admit defeat.
Tell your teacher or manager you need disclosure,
Make the bully a feature they detest exposure,
They need to be shown you will never concede,
When your spirit has grown you'll have sown the seed.
When they know you'll fight back they will lower their tone,
They'll no longer attack they will leave you alone,
Show them you're aware that their actions are sad,
Seeing you don't fear them will drive them mad.
A bully has no friends let's make that clear,
Their sole aim in life is to rule others by fear,
They are sad and lonely that's how they exist,
Yet when they are gone they will never be missed.
Yes life can be cruel but that applies to us all,
A bully's but a fool their bravado is small,
When stripped of their presence they're no longer empowered,
A bully in essence is,
‘' No More Than A Coward ‘'
Mister Charlie
I take a little powder, take a little salt, put it in my shotgun, I go walkin
Jubba jubba, wolly bully, looking high, looking low,
Gonna scare you up and shoot ya, mister charlie told me so.
I wont even take your life, wont even take a limb,
Just unload my shotgun, take a little skin.
Jubba jubba, wolly bully, looking high, looking low,
Gonna scare you up and shoot ya, mister charlie told me so.
Well you take my silver dollar, take those silver dimes,
Fix it up together in some alligator wine.
I can hear the drums, voodoo all night long,
Mister charlie tells me I cant do nothing wrong.
Jubba jubba, wolly bully, looking high, looking low,
Gonna scare you up and shoot ya, mister charlie told me so.
Now mister charlie told me, wont you like to know,
Give you little warning before I let you go.
Jubba jubba, wolly bully, looking high, looking low,
Gonna scare you up and shoot ya, mister charlie told me so.
Gonna scare you up and shoot ya, mister charlie, mister charlie told me so.

Where Is This Neighborhood?
Isn't it always the case,
When something done by someone...
Is made to look easy,
Everyone sitting on their terraces...
Or front porches or seen wasting their time,
Standing around on neighborhood corners...
Will quickly retort as if reporting,
How they could do the same thing.
If given the opportunity.
As if no opportunities are there.
Except the time they take to roll a joint...
Pass the weed to tote and smoke it!
'Really? '
Yeah, really.
'Where is this neighborhood? '
Never mind that.
You're missing my point completely.
'No.
I don't think so.
You're the one missing the point.
AND apparently missing the joint as well.
Where is this neighborhood? '

Kangaroo Power
NOW, Yankee inventors can beat a retreat,
And German professors may take a back seat,
For their colours we’re going to lower:
They’ve invented a wonderful plough in the West,
The scientists call it “the latest and best”;
It ploughs, sows, and reaps without taking a rest,
And they drive it by kangaroo power.
Sing hey!
Sing ho!
Then it’s bully for kangaroo power!
O wondrous the changes our children shall meet,
For soon we may travel the principal street
In something far short of an hour.
The traffic shall flow without stoppage or jambs
And sharp little screeches and naughty big damns,
For soon all the hansoms and ’busses and trams
Shall travel by kangaroo power.
Sing hey!
Sing ho!
Then it’s bully for kangaroo power!
Advance, Young Australia, thy banner unfurled,
And jump through the years and astonish the world;
Thou art of all nations the flower.
And Bismarck with envy shall grind his old stumps,
And Yankee inventors shall sit in the dumps,
To see young Australia advancing by jumps,
When driven by kangaroo power.
Sing hey!
Sing ho!
Then it’s bully for kangaroo power!

Neighborhood
Heres a photo Ive been looking for
Its a picture of thee boy next door
And I loved him more than words could say
Never knew it til he moved away
Faded pictures in my scrapbook
Just thought Id take one more look
And recall when we were all
In the neighborhood
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Heres a photo of the neighborhood
Heres the corner where we stood
Heres a snapshot of dads old car
Never got us very far
Faded pictures in my scrapbook
Just thought Id take one more look
And recall when we were all
In the neighborhood
And all those friends
Where did they go, I dont know
All those friends we used to know
In the neighborhood
