Bearing the rage of elements

Flag of the brave
Victory's only passage
With the Azure night
The dash of the fire ablaze
The stripe of pearly snow
Smybol of a victory
America's Victory
Soldiers true and brave

A love for neighbor
Love the neighbor
that is great honor
he will be first to attend
All may reach last including friends
the neighbor and guests are best
they stand the time and test
open your secrets and confide
Neighbor will know even if you hide
it is wrong to assume
no grudges and feelings to fume
if you know him to be near
there won't be any fear
Love the neighbor so to be close to Thy
there has to be no question as why?
rule or no rule he is there to rescue
relatives and friends may have no clue

Raccoons
In my spare time I’ve become a trapper
Raccoons are ruining my roof
(Gnawing through the tarpaper.)
They made a hole just the right fit
So big a neighbor’s cat climbed through it
I borrowed a trap from a neighbor, soon
And trapped three raccoons
A possum, a cat
And a rat
My assistant had a tie pin made out of a raccoon’s penis bone
It’s the only animal that has an appendage like stone
So in jest, I promised a raccoon to my assistant
For a birthday present
A stuffed raccoon I placed in the trap
And took it to lunch without mishap
You should have seen his face
When I walked through the door of the dining place
The cage held at arm’s length for safety it’s supposed
And the animal crouched as if escape intended
After the joke unfolded
And my assistant, properly befuddled

Theres a man who walks the lonely field at midnight
He wears a matching suit, steel tipped shoes and the diamonds
And he holds the dying flame, the loaded dice and the answer
He stalks the open road that leads form here to there
Youd better look out, watch out, beware
Theres no safety here
Crouched by the fence, sweat dries cold on your every breath
Wheres the saviour that the critics dream about now
Hes telling jokes to all the saviours in the ward
