Compromise, n. Such an adjustment of conflicting interests as gives each adversary the satisfaction of thinking he has got what he ought not to have, and is deprived of nothing except what was justly his due.

Satisfaction
(m. jagger/k. richards)
I can't get no satisfaction
I can't get no satisfaction
'cause i try and i try and i try and i try
I can't get no, i can't get no
When i'm drivin' in my car
And that man comes on the radio
He's tellin' me more and more
About some useless information
Supposed to fire my imagination
I can't get no, oh no no no
Hey hey hey, that's what i say
I can't get no satisfaction
I can't get no satisfaction
'cause i try and i try and i try and i try
I can't get no, i can't get no
When i'm watchin' my tv
And that man comes on to tell me
How white my shirts can be
But he can't be a man 'cause he doesn't smoke
The same cigarrettes as me
I can't get no, oh no no no
Hey hey hey, that's what i say
I can't get no satisfaction
I can't get no girl reaction
'cause i try and i try and i try and i try
I can't get no, i can't get no
When i'm ridin' round the world
And i'm doin' this and i'm signing that
And i'm tryin' to make some girl
Who tells me baby better come back later next week
'cause you see i'm on losing streak
I can't get no, oh no no no
Hey hey hey, that's what i say
I can't get no, i can't get no
I can't get no satisfaction
No satisfaction, no satisfaction, no satisfaction

Very conscious of the fact that an effort was being made to destroy my mind, because I was deprived of books, deprived of any means of writing, deprived of human companionship. You never know how much you need it until you're deprived of it.

What men have called friendship is only a social arrangement, a mutual adjustment of interests, an interchange of services given and received; it is, in sum, simply a business from which those involved propose to derive a steady profit for their own self-love.

(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction
I can't get no - satisfaction
I can't get no - satisfaction
'Cause I try', and I try
Yes I try, I try
I can't get no satisfaction

Oh, no, no, no
Hey, hey, hev
Ooh baby tell me what I say
Oh well when I'm watching my TV
And this man comes on and tells me
What drink would be good for me
But he can't be a man, cause' he doesn't smoke
The same cigars as me
And I can't get no satisfaction
No, no, no
Hey, hey, hey, hey
Tell me what I say
When I'm ridin' round the world
And I'm doin' this and I'm signin' that
And I'm tryin' to meet some girl
Who tells me baby, baby come back maybe next week
Can't you see I'm on a losing streak
I can't get no satisfaction
Oh, no, no, no,
Hey, hey, hey
Baby tell me what i say
Come here baby
What do ya mean
You don't know what will satisfy me
Yes you do
I've been all around the world
Looking for some girl
And I can't get no satisfaction
and I've got to have some satisfaction

Candidates don't have to deal with reality. They talk about the wonderful things they can accomplish as if advocating them is the same as achieving them. They live in a world of political make-believe in which everything from reconciling conflicting interests to paying for costly programs is easy.

The Earthly Bias....
you are
this man torn between
sky and sea
you belong to the earth
take note
pray
that the sky shall not blind you
neither the
sea to drown you
take the middle
compromise, compromise,
compromise
always have that
compromise
the earth is still the most
beautiful place
to live
give it the bias
that for the meantime
it deserves

Human nature
As the human nature knows no bounds
Many areas of left over area is found
Otherwise who cares for left over and forgotten?
Mother has taken care of lappers and orphans even
When the wind is in favor and honesty at peak
There is nothing more to appreciate or speak
As God has sent you on earth as an emissary
The goal is scored over every adversary
Long live all those who live with holiness
As world has always lived with hollowness
Some may prove to be guiding star
We may have all the satisfaction even they go away very far
I salute their efforts for mankind
We are alive and not gone blind
How do we forget their efforts and dedication?
It is matter of satisfaction with good indication

Illusive Change, Yet For Whom
I'm tired of trying to bring about change and make a difference,
Maybe the world too is tired of fighting to bring about change,
But who will make the change if the world is tired as well.
Yet as men, we do have a part to reinstate the goodwill,
And for whom is the change? Will it be yours or theirs - once?
Me or you and them? If i try to make a change, is there a chance?
Maybe it won't be befitting into your own space,
And if you try to change it, will it include my life in it?
I'm tired of trying to change the world, because the change
That I want does not fit into other people's lives.
Somehow maybe there should be a compromise,
But compromise - it seems - has a hard time
Fitting itself into this world. So, how am I to find a change,
And be a part of a conflicting world that is suppose to be for you and
Me... A wish to just survive and live satisfactorily, but how...?

Conflicting Influence
Conflicting influence
Hearing silence my old man does when he slowly dance around
the kitchen floor thinking he’s alone. When I sit still I can hear
silence too. Noises and voices Louis Armstrong’s trumpet and
the drumbeat of distant wars. Some of them fought and some
waiting to be fought. And I hear the righteous defending a war
where millions will die and our way of life will forever be scared
by shame. People have lost their voice, because it drowned in
the cacophony of conflicting messages that seep into our mind
day and night. Overload, fuse gone, apathy. And my old man will
never hear the good silence again.

The 'morality of compromise' sounds contradictory. Compromise is usually a sign of weakness, or an admission of defeat. Strong men don't compromise, it is said, and principles should never be compromised.

Devoted to Supply
You think I am jive!
And I lie.
That's okay.
I think you are deprived of reality!
And there is something about our relationship,
That works and keeps thriving.
I am kept amused by your lack of wisdom.
And you accept and believe I am a total jerk!
Providing a satisfaction unlimited...
We both are devoted to supply upon request.
