The English Teacher
I bumped into my grandson's English teacher yesterday
at the football, and in between shouting like teenagers
I moaned about the state of A's Eng. Lit. not to mention Eng. Lang. -
you know, you've heard it all before... in my day.....never regretted....
he agreed, but said go easy on the lad he's only thirteen
they all want to be fifteen and grown up at that age,
they can't be seen by their peer-group to be 'for' anything too much
so they ridicule everything, it's either pretentious crap if it's modern
or stupid ancient crap if it's more than a generation ago...
they even call Shakespeare a sad loser until
someone says he wrote the screenplay for that film
though they're fascinated by the idea that Marlowe
was a spy as well as a crap writer not that they've read him anyway
but you know what he said
put them up on stage in the annual Shakespeare and make them
speak his lines, and they'll never forget it,
they'll not say anything about it to me except in private but
they'll remember it to their dying day it's things like that
he said that keep me in this bloody job.

It's going to take a lot of patience and hard work,
To get this crap corrected.
It is unbelievable how conscious people sat,
Knowing that their lives...
Were being set up to become traps.
And they would become the tested mice.
With afflicting addictions intentionally inflicted.
And programmed to accept,
Any condition...
Greed and politicians that would hypnotize,
Suggest!
Just to make things for them right to bite!
Like vampires sucking blood from necks.
'Is there any money left to see 'Twilight? '
Those stripped of credibility had no influence,
To introduce anything good.
And those suppressed into nothingness,
Were pushed to live in depressed neighborhoods.
And statistically used...
As those amongst the disadvantaged!
Those who were treated less than cesspools.
Oh,
This plot thickens!
Those who believed they would succeed with deceit...
Found ways to line their pockets,
By creating conditions to have those without a conscious
Move to suburban streets.

Superciliousness in Norway.
“They crap in our forest, ” an angry man yelled,
Roma people had pitched tents near the forest
where people of this tolerant nation go skiing
in winters. They came here to find work but
was meet with scorn and mistrust, they came
in hope of getting a part of our largesse; the rich
do not know this word. When people who used
to be poor suddenly see they are better off than
other countries, the first reaction is pride and
an unbecoming arrogance, like it was their
cleverness that brought oil up from the bottom
of the sea… Now instead of being humble having
had such luck they become reactionaries giving
advice to less fortunate countries.

Very few of us have been down in the painful cancer league,
A place of physical, mental, emotional chemo fatigue,
A fearful struggle to avoid being caught in an oncoming death trap,
They can keep you alive for a while, they say, but you feel like crap.
A constant condition of physical shutting down every day,
Getting weaker and more tired and get another x-ray,
Where dying might seem the better and less painful option,
But politicians and priests have lots of biased objections.
And death with dignity; politicians refuse to discuss,
The Supreme Court treated Sue Rodriguez with utter disgust,
