The compulsion to do good is an innate American trait. Only North Americans seem to believe that they always should, may, and actually can choose somebody with whom to share their blessings. Ultimately this attitude leads to bombing people into the acceptance of gifts.

You Are 'Bestowed' the Blessings
Remember this...
To you are bestowed the blessings.
Gifts given to which through you flow.
Those blessings are for you to share.
Your presence 'is' a blessing.
However...
Your wish to be worshipped,
As if you are The Creator...
Of the light that glows.
Is not the way it works.
Or the way it goes.
To you are 'bestowed' the blessings.
The Creator provides,
Those blessings to be bestowed.
The Creator,
Provides...
Those blessings,
To be bestowed.
Remember this...
You are 'bestowed' the blessings.
To assist.
Not create to provide.
Many get this twisted.
To stir up for themselves,
Endless conflict.

When Good People Become Friends
Things work better.
Things work together
Things work out.

Generosity becomes sharing
Sacrifices become pleasures
Rightful obedience becomes an uncommon delight.

Joys become happiness

Acquaintances become friendships
Concern becomes caring
Likenesses become divine love.
When Good People Become Friends
Traveling becomes a journey
Endeavors come into fruition
Living becomes Life.
When Good People Become Friends
Gifts become blessings
Blessings become anointings
Anointings become endowments.

Weaknesses become strength
And death, Death becomes a new birth.

As you begin your tour of the United States, you may as well know that one American national trait which irritates many Americans and must be convenient for our critics is that we relentlessly advertise our imperfections.

Attitude Dancing
(carly simon/jacob brackman)
Theres a new kind of dancing
Thats gonna be the rage
You just leave yourself behind
Like an actor on a stage
Cop a different pose
>from the pose youre in
Shine a different attitude
>from underneath your skin
Attitude dancing
Strut around the floor in a different attitide
Attitude dancing
Any attitude is the proper attitude
Attitude dancing
Dont be afraid to change your attitude
Attitude dancing
Free up your spirit with a new attitude
It dont even matter
If you stretch or shake
And it dont really matter
What moves your body makes
And it dont really matter
What steps you choose to do
Only one thing matters:
Thats your attitude
Your attitude, attitude dancing
Attitude dancing
Strut around the floor in a different attitide
Attitude dancing
Learn to move in another attitude
Attitude dancing
Find the groove in a new attitude
Attitude dancing
Dont be afraid of a new attitude
It dont really matter
What steps you choose to do
Only one thing matters:
Is your attitude
Your attitude, attitude dancing
Strut around the floor in a new attitude
Do the locomotion in a new attitude
Do the mashed potato in a new attitude
Do the hully gully in a new attitude
Find a role you like
Capture it and freeze
Then turn it around
A hundred and eighty degrees
Or if youre at a loss
Observe some natural dude
And turn into a mirror of his attitude
Attitude, attitude, attitude

Enamored
I can understand,
Someone being enamored...
By the effects of the 'after'.
But it is always the 'before',
People choose to ignore...
Without knowing what it takes,
To get to that place...
Where the 'after' has acceptance.
I've been there and too aware,
What I must do to protect...
That which I respect.
Since the awaiting for it to happen,
Has taken too long to materialize...
For me not to acknowledge or realize,
My blessings.
And from 'Whom' they came to be bestowed.

Sonnet: Choose The Things in Your Life
0 choose your friend who must be good as you;
And choose your spouse better than you; make sure;
And choose the one best as your Teacher too;
And choose ambitions that suit your nature.
0 choose the profession thats truly best;
And choose the hobbies that ne'er interfere;
And choose your Time to begin work, take rest;
And choose your enemies, you surely fear.
0 choose your food that gives extended health;
And choose your garments -comfortable wear;
And choose the honest way to added wealth;
And choose the burden right, body can bear.
0 choose the people who deserve help most;
And choose good principles, yet never boast.

Wishing Well
A well of good water confidently acquires blessings,
From authority of most high, the exact manufacturer;
In this present hour the legionaries attain new goals,
Good wishes are sent to the awed and the awkward.
You describe a felony to a man of confident attitude,
And he withdraws from his own well to spoil one.
The waters of the energetic variety connect with each other,
Forming pools small and big as well, to concern us all.
Let wishful people continue with their blessings,
Actuating their promises for all who speak of gains.

Gertrude Stein is interviewed on American poetry
and there was the knocking on the door
that we were expecting
and it was the man
that we were expecting
with the questions we were expecting
to which answers were expected
by those who expect answers
as if life were like that
which for writers it is not
yes, tea was drunk
and after tea the tape recorder set up
so that what I said
I would continue to say
somewhere else
even when I changed my mind
here and nowhere else
and he said Ms Stein
what do you think of American poetry
and we said well it's American
and it's poetry
that's as it should be
and really that's all there is to say
and the man looked disappointed
so we asked him did he read poetry
and he said poetry no I dont read poetry
but my editor does
so I said it's really about Americans
living their lives
that's what American poetry is really about
because Americans move around
and so their words move around and
words in English have lost their intensity
but American words are always on the move
and they are more intense
yes, Americans living among Americans
and talking to their neighbours
if it's not about that
it's not really American poetry at all is it
if it's not about that
then why bother writing poetry
and the man was asking about a rose
being a rose being a rose and we said
for a hundred years the rose
has not been red in poetry
but now for the first time in a hundred years
the rose is red again
and the man looked at his watch
and said thank you Ms Stein
and was switching off his tape recorder
and a month later that
was what we said
in a magazine much read
by Americans who mostly
are not poets no very few but we said it
we know that this is so
because we read it there
and we think that really
that was all there was to say
because that was all we think
is really important
about American Poetry
that the words move like Americans move
and that is exciting for a writer
and that is the important thing about
American Poetry

American Dream
American dream
American dream
American dream
I must surrender to my American dream
Please do not call me
There is a wedding ring on my ring
And I am building my American dream
I found an American soul mate to love
And to share my life and my American dream
I am getting married and settling down
Good bye single life
Love is the best thing I can give to the people who also share my American dream
Soul mate give me a kiss
And let's dream the American dream
I want my self, you, and every body else to be a part of this American
Dream
We are starting over with an American dream
What I lost before
It is not of any value to me any more
I can't replace it
But you are a part of me
And that is what matters the most
This American dream belong to us and every body else
My heart belongs to you my soul mate
Days will come and go
But I am here for you
We can make a difference when we claim the American dream
Maybe tommorow we will sail on a moon beam
My soul mate has blue eyes
Soul mate I ask no more than this
Please give me a warm kiss
Somewhere in the American dream roses will bloom
And ships will sail across the sea
Poets will write their poetry
Singers will sing in the boulevard cafes some love songs that touch Every body's heart
Flower girls will sell flowers in the streets of the American dream so
The man can buy some
Flowers for there girl friends and lovers if they have any
I can't let any body else steal our American dream
We must save this American dream for us and every body else
If you want to be a part of the American dream
You will have to be a good citizen of the American dream

For Those Who Are Gifted
These gifts to me have not been given,
To let sit and observe their rust.
But to constantly polish and share their lustre.
And I perceive this mission as a must.
For those who are gifted,
With talents they let drift away.
Seem too quick to earn a dollar from them...
Only to quit to say,
The worth of their gifts...
Did not return to them any profit!
These gifts to me have not been given,
To let sit and observe their rust.
But to constantly polish and share their lustre.
And I perceive this mission as a must.
One blessed by God...
Should first serve His purpose.
With a gratefulness to prove,
A decision God has made...
Was done to shine forth a light!
To move where He chooses,
Whether day or night.
Not to smother in unthankfulness.
To offer God one's attititude.
Why do people do this?
Take for granted what God does...
Then choose to dismiss it?
To satify egos others should solicit.
To flaunt and cherish,
As if one merits the attention.
To take and celebrate...
Without a word of God to mention!

stop the bombing...
just stop the bombing!
murder is murder!
violence never brings peace.
there is no 'God'
who ever justified
one group of people
killing everyone
that is different.
no one people are superior...
hell, no one is superior
to anyone else...
nobody ever has the right
to own anybody!
quit stacking bodies
in the ditches...
stop digging the ditches!
stop the bombing!

With A Doing To Prove
Either choose to take a leap.
Or fall back to sleep,
Because...
Trumpets will be blaring,
From those who dared...
To eliminate their troubles,
And a stopping to share!
Hello...
Tell me what is your name?
You are here so bright and early,
With a doing to prove...
There is something that you wish to do,
And get done too!
Tell me hello...
What is it that you do?
'I'm here to claim that I'm awake,
My sleeping is through.
I'm here to do what I must do without attitude! '
Either choose to take a leap.
Or fall back to sleep,
Because...
Trumpets will be blaring,

And a stopping to share!
Tell me hello...
What is it that you do?
'I'm here to claim that I'm awake,
My sleeping is through.
I'm here to do what I must do without attitude! '
I like your 'hello'...
Tell me what is your name?
You are here so bright and early,
With a doing to prove...
There is something that you wish to do,
And get done too!
'I'm here to claim that I'm awake,

The People Want Peace
Got to land those war planes....,
Bury the guns....,
Hold back the subs...,
All the missles and bombs...,
Raise your voices high...,
And start singin' with me....,
Let's do what's right....,
I know you'll agree....,
The People Want Peace....,
There's no other way...,
The People Want Peace....,
Startin' today....,
From the south to the north....,
West to the east....,
There's no doubt in my mind....,
The People Want Peace....! ! !
We worked and we slaved....,
For so many years....,
Let's share some laughter....,
Forget all the tears....,
I know we can live....,
Without envy and greed....,
With freedom to choose....,
That's why I believe....,
The People Want Peace....,
There's no other way...,
The People Want Peace....,
Startin' today....,
From the south to the north....,
West to the east....,
There's no doubt in my mind....,
The People Want Peace....! ! !
