God Bless Canada
This land strong and free
God bless Canada
While the sun shine across the sea
God bless Canada as we sing this song
God bless Canada
We stand together united as one
God bless Canada
Our hopes have never died for you
God bless Canada
We carry the flame with us in a long journey
God bless Canada
The eagles will soar high above the sky
God bless Canada
We show our true colors

A War Over There
It seems they are always having a war somewhere over there,
And the loosing side is calling the UN to come and take care,
Sometimes it’s religion, sometimes it’s national or even tribal,
And the UN makes an announcement as though they are liable.
Certain UN members are then expected to go forth and win,
Otherwise it could be a UN diabolical sin,
Canada is among those states that they are inclined to choose,
No referendums, plebiscites, propositions or reviews.
They refused to let Canada in Security Council place,
Not politically correct enough though right in our face,
Has the UN became more trouble than we deserve?
Could we pull out of the UN or do we have the nerve?

Human Rights Violations
Human rights violations continue to plague the UN,
But their Human Rights Council is not bothered now, nor was it then,
As they publish serious distortion of actual events,
Their gang rapes goings on over there were people live in tents.
Despite some of their friends being involved in genocide - no report,
Even after being indicted by the International Criminal Court,
The whole UN and their Human Rights Council seem corrupt,
Canada’s forbidden entry to their Council was fierce and abrupt.
Their bent press releases are unadulterated propaganda,
We should pull out of their glass building, their wars, and their agenda,
These suggestions are unacceptable at the UN, I know,
But why should our democracy receive blow after blow?

The Un Security Council Club
I remember when the UN was considered good and great,
But something strange has happened and now they are extremely irate,
And why are we so disliked in that very strange NY place?
Why were we banned from their Security Council rat race?
Their Durban III anti Israeli stance is a global disgrace,
Has the UN ran it’s course or is this only a test case?
Or has it become a hindrance and likely to cause more trouble?
Is it possible that someone somehow could burst their bubble?
Or has it turned into an exclusive inner circle club?
Where Canada is likely to get a daily or frequent snub?
Should we tell them to shove it and quickly march out the door?
Or should we take the insult and wait and see if there’s more?

Surprises 2
Life is filled with surprises
and I have had my fair share of them.
Imagine going to a friend’s funeral
and months down the line,
you end up marrying his widow.
Yes, that has happened to me.
Imagine after fifty-six years
discovering you had a brother
you never knew you had.
Yes, that has happened to me.
Imagine going to school with someone
you never remember speaking to
and then fifty-one years later
they become your best friend.
Yes, that has happened to me.
Imagine this friend
introducing you to a friend of theirs
and between them both
turn your life around.
Yes, that has happened to me.
Surprises happen when you least expect them,
they can happen anytime anywhere.
You can never predict when they will occur,
they just happen for a reason,
a reason for which we are never sure.
However, never turn your back on them;
count them as a blessing
that might never come again.

Get A Life
Ive been wondering whats eating at your head?
The cheap way you handle things, the slander that you spread.
Making misery is the way you spend your time.
I think its safe to say when it comes to truth youre blind
Whatever happened is over now for you.
With you theres nothing, that you wouldnt do.
Nothing you wouldnt do.
Now its time to get a life, you gotta get a life.
Now its time to get a life, you gotta get a life, gotta get a life.
This is my life
The faces that you show have everyone concerned.
But if they turn their backs to you, trust in you,
Theyll learn.
Whatever happened is over now for you.
With you theres nothing, that you wouldnt do.
Nothing you wouldnt do.
Now its time to get a life, you gotta get a life.
Now its time to get a life, you gotta get a life, gotta get a life.
This is my life
Whatever happened is over now for you.
With you theres nothing, that you wouldnt do.
Nothing you wouldnt do.
Now its time to get a life, you gotta get a life.
Now its time to get a life, you gotta get a life, gotta get a life.
This is my life

Canadian born
We first saw light in Canada, the land beloved of God;
We are the pulse of Canada, its marrow and its blood:
And we, the men of Canada, can face the world and brag
That we were born in Canada beneath the British flag.
Few of us have the blood of kings, few are of courtly birth,
But few are vagabonds or rogues of doubtful name and worth;
And all have one credential that entitles us to brag--
That we were born in Canada beneath the British flag.
We've yet to make our money, we've yet to make our fame,
But we have gold and glory in our clean colonial name;
And every man's a millionaire if only he can brag
That he was born in Canada beneath the British flag.
No title and no coronet is half so proudly worn
As that which we inherited as men Canadian born.
We count no man so noble as the one who makes the brag
That he was born in Canada beneath the British flag.
The Dutch may have their Holland, the Spaniard have his Spain,
The Yankee to the south of us must south of us remain;
For not a man dare lift a hand against the men who brag
That they were born in Canada beneath the British flag.

To You
Well if the same thing happened to you
Would you still put me through what you put me through?
If it happened to you. what if it happened to you?
What if it happened a man kept shaking you down
But you cant get a ride to his side of town?
If it happened to you. what if it happened to you?
What if happened to you? keep it out of my shoes.
And if youre stepping on toes, keep it outta my nose.
cos if the same thing happened to me
Well, it wont be as bad as it used to be.
If it happened toyou. what if it happened to you?
What if it happened to you?
What if it happened to you?
What if it happened to you, too?
What if it happens to you?
What if it happens to you?
What if happens to you? keep it out of my shoes.
And if youre stepping on toes, keep it outta my nose.
cos if the same thing happened to me
Well, it wont be as bad as it used to be.
If it happened to you. what if it happened to you?
What if it happened to you?
What am I going to do?
What if it happened to you?
Well, what if happened to you?
* repeat until fade: what if happened to you?

Something Happened
Something happened
I just don't understand
Something happened
It's making me feel mad
Something happened, you don't hear about
Oh, please that never did before
Something happened
I just don't understand
Something happened
I just don't understand
Something happened
It's making me feel mad, oh
I never saw this on TV
I never read it in no book
ahh
Something happened
I just don't understand
hey, baby, something happened
I just don't understand
something happened
I just don't understand
something happened
I just don't understand
something happened
I just don't understand
something happened
Something happened
I just don't understand
Something happened
It's making me feel mad
I thought I knew a lot of things
but I don't know a thing, oh, oh, oh
Something happened
I just don't understand
The things I hear and see
don't seem the same
The things I touch and feel
are forever changed
I've never felt this way before
and I hope I never do again
Something happened
I don't know why or when
oh, something happened
I just don't understand
something happened
I just don't understand
Doo, doo-doo, doo-doo, doo-doo-doo-doo
something happened
Doo, doo-doo, doo-doo, doo-doo-doo-doo
something happened
Doo, doo-doo, doo-doo, doo-doo-doo-doo
something happened
Doo, doo-doo, doo-doo, doo-doo-doo-doo

Look What Has Happened To Me
In the morning when I wake,
And my feet can find the floor,
I stumble down the hall,
And I open up the door,
Then I look into the mirror,
Just like I know you do.
Stopping for a moment,
I can feel my mind go through,
The boundries of time,
Back to a heart without his
Love inside.
I was more than just alone;
I was dying on my own,
Thinking that nothing was ever gonna
Save my life.
Look what has happened to me,
I find it hard to believe.
His love has taken my life
This far, so far....
Looking what has happened to me,
My mind can hardly conceive
What Im beginning to be,
Look what, look what....
When you stop and think it over,
Do you think youre doing well?
Are you getting stronger?
Can you really tell?
If youre truthful with your feelings,
Then you see theres room to grow,
Though you may have found the answer,
There is so much more to know....
More to this life.
You can never stop growing, or youll
Start to die.
I can not survive alone.
I am nothing on my own.
But seeings believing, and if you
Need to see,
Look at me.
Ahhhh....
Look what has happened to me,
I find it hard to believe.
His love has taken my life
This far, so far....
Look what has happened to me,
My mind can hardly conceive.
Look what has happened,
Look what, look what....
Look what has happened to me,
I find it hard to believe.
His love has taken my life
This far, so far....
Look what has happened to me,
My mind can hardly conceive
What Im beginning to be,
Look what, look what....
Look what has happened to me, (look what has happened to me,)
I find it hard to believe.
His love has taken my life
This far, so far....
Look what has happened to me,
My mind can hardly conceive
What Im beginning to be,
Look what, look what....

It Happened
(four shots)
Noooooooo!
It happened at a time of my life when i least expected,
It happened at a time of my life when i least expected,
I don't even remember how it happened,
I don't even remember the day it happened.
But it happened,
Yes, it happened,
Ooh, it happened,
And i know there's no return, no way.

A Canadian Rose
For Victoria Clarke
Where ever you are
Where ever you live
there is always a rose
that will steal your heart away.
When I grew up in Canada
there was a rose there.
I remember to this day
and her name was Victoria.
However, I was never the apple of her eye.
She didn’t really want to know me.
I wasn’t all that popular, so why should she.
Years have come and gone
and I often wonder whatever happened
to that Canadian rose.
I suspect I will never know,
but I hope she’s had a happy life
the way lives should be.
