The sound of fresh rain run-off splashing from the roof reminded me of the sound of urine splashing into a filthy Texaco latrine.

The Weeping Garden

It’s terrible! – all drip and listening.
Whether, as ever, it’s loneliness,
splashing a branch, like lace, on the window,
or whether perhaps there’s a witness.

Choked there beneath its swollen
burden – earth’s nostrils, and audibly,
like August, far off in the distance,
midnight, ripening slow with the fields.

No sound. No one’s in hiding.
Confirming its pure desolation,
it returns to its game – slipping
from roof, to gutter, slides on.

I’ll moisten my lips, listening:
whether, as ever, I’m loneliness,
and ready maybe for weeping,
or whether perhaps there’s a witness.

But, silence. No leaves trembling.
Nothing to see: sobs, and cries
being swallowed, slippers splashing,
between them, tears and sighs.

In water tray (dectina refrain)

Look
at the
bird splashing
in the water,
in clear rainwater,
bathing while slapping wings,
chattering telling others
how nice it is to be washing,
inviting them nearer, splashing them wet.
Look at the bird splashing in the water.

Sounds that should not be missed

Sound of blossom of a flower,
I desire to hear,
the sound of nature.

Sound of rain's glassy water drop,
over a roof's top,
the sound of joy.

Sound of beat of our heart,
through our ears caught,
the sound of wonder.

Sound of delicious supper in boil,
after a great day's toil,
the sound of hunger.

Sound of a mother's loving ballad,
hearing the cry of her toddler,
the sound of love! ! !

The Sun & The Rain

Its raining again,
Im hearing its pitter patter down.
Its wet in the street
Reflecting the lights and splashing feet,
Nowhere to go,
And nothing I have to do, have to do.
Its raining again,
I follow the christmas lights down town.
Im leaving the flow
Of people walking all around,
Round and round,
I hear the sound of rain falling in my ears
Washing away the weariness like tears.
I can feel my troubles running down,
Disappear into the silent sound.
Just walking along,
My clothes are soaked right through to the skin,
I havent a doubt, that this is what life is all about,
The sun and the rain.
Scraps of paper(? ? ? ) washing down the drain.
I feel the rain falling on my face
I can say there is no better place
Than standing up in the falling down
In so much rain I could almost drown.
Its raining again
A crack in the clouds reveals blue skies
Ive been feeling so low(low)
But now everything is on my side
The sun and the rain.
Walk with me fill my heart again
I hear the rain falling in my ears
Washing away the weariness like tears.
I can feel my troubles running down,
Disappear into the silent sound.
I feel the rain falling on my face
I can say there is no better place
Than standing up in the falling down
In so much rain I could almost drown.
Do de do do de do do do
Do de do de do de do do do

Rainy Skies

Listen to the soothing rain
Touch against the window pane
Steady drops are what I see
As if falling down on me
Torrent of rain so steady
Looking at clouds hang heavy
This rain to us is a pleasant sound
Cool water music splashing down
This rain looks like teardrops
We're wondering when it will stop
Safe, secure in my lover's arms am I
Cocooned in love like the dark sky
Watching the fire slowly burn
Enchanted lovers not wanting to turn
It's not just another rainy night
Cares and worries all take flight
No words need be spoken
For our love is not an empty token

Mirror

Swimming in a Cornish sea -
Porpoises! (not Cornish) . a little way from me.
How far?
How far from splashing foot to streamlined tail?

Following the brain down its mazy trail -
thirty yards? a million years?
Too far? Not far enough?

But eye to eye
(inner eye to inner eye)
it's not so far
from grain of sand to spinning star.

Here wave is sea
and sea is wave once more,
no them no me,
a timeless beating on a timeless shore.

What a place to be alone
(alone with one's friends)
in such a busy, splashing sea;
alone with all the world
(and you and me) .

Rain on my window

I hear thunder in the distance
the sky turns darker black
a smile forms upon my lips
the rain is coming back

I walk to my balcony door
a cool breeze washes through
its refreshing and cleansing
I can taste the alluring dew

The rain spatters on my roof
lightining flashes in the sky
goosebumps erupt on my skin
and my body relaxes with a sigh

Splashing in puddles
making all things wet
catching rain on my tongue
its something I won't regret

I see rain on my window
as I stroll back inside
why are so many afriad
they avoid this and hide

The rain ends quickly
lightining and thunder ensue
this night would only be better
if I could have shared it with you

Dead Dreams

Falling stars
Dead dreams
Litter the ground
Howling winds
Shift the sand
Silent cries
Fading screams
Fill the air with a hollow sound
Still they don't see
Drifting slowly
Glittering tears slide down
Splashing as they hit the ground

Contrasting Sounds Of Sunday Morning

rain is pit pattering
on the roof

the wind is as gentle
as a whisper
of a new lover

when the rain stops
the footfalls pass by

the church bell rings
on a call to prayer

the sound of motorcycles
get louder towards the flea market

the cock crows and
jumps to the ground from a tree

here i am
writing another poem for you

it is the sound of silence again
words hugging like a friend's reunion

Purpose of the seed

How about closing my eyes. Imagining things in any size. Tears are coming between my eye lie. Yell i see my heart here not being fit. Stretching guitar telling me your not belong here. Earth too small, seven skies is up there. Sound of guitar in my gloomy space. Parting my heart to pieces in this place. Here is me imagining the red light. Telling me to stand up for your true right. Sound of stretching guitar in my room. Taking me so above right on top of the doom. Dance splashing out of my restless body. All this burning years thats all i study. Now doesnt matter what i want or i need. Just like to talk, talk about the purpose of the seed. 25/09/06 birmingham.

The Sound Of The Rain

do not mislead me with the
point-of-view of the frog
you croak and you say this
is how something beautiful
sounds, how ugliness feigns
i tell you i like the rain and
the frog likes it too, i am
one of those frogs bathing
and jumping on the pond,
but do not mislead me with
your sound, it does not sound
like the hush of the wind,
it has no color of the moon,
i am one of the frogs of this
pond, but i do not wish to
sound like you: i am in love
with the sound of the rain,
and this is the one that makes
me stay. It is not you, your
sound is not gentle, it is
rough like the skin of the
teething toad. I love the
rain, the way it sounds,
and that is enough
for my suffering.

Dripping.

The Wonders That I Feel

How can one explain
the wonders that I feel
after years of uncertainty
And miseries back then
but now my eyes are open
To all the splendor that life gives
Just to feel the cool grass again
treading underfoot

The smell of summer flowers
Blowing in the breeze
Sunrays reflecting off
blue lagoons, lakes and seas
The soft sound of raindrops
splashing all around
Children's laughter, birds singing
Oh what a wonderful sound

I smile in appreciation
at the wonder of their sound
I now can feel the sunshine
Warmly on my face
and soft rippling sands
Running through my hands
as I listen to waves lapping on the beach
Leaning back in appreciation
for all that mother nature gives

soaking up the beauty
that lives outside our door
But what catches my breath
what makes my heart beat with joy
are the colours that shine
Each time mother nature
paints a rainbow in the sky

Not Waving but Drowning

I was to far out further than anyone should be, I screamed for help but they were silenced by the waves so no one could hear my cries

I was to far out further than anyone should be, and I looked to you for help but you didn't see that, you thought I was splashing and having fun but I wasn't I was drowning and you didn't even notice

I was to far out further than anyone should be, I started to become restless as the waves toppled over me and as the sun beat down I realized the end was near and I was tired of fighting, so I closed my eyes and let the waves take me away but by the time you realized something was wrong it was already to late, I was already gone

I was to far out further than anyone should be, not waving but drowning, looking back on it all you finaly seen that I wasn't splashing and having fun but that I needed help

Sadly by the time you realized all of this you were laying a rose on my coffin

Wonderful Bath Bubbles

Sitting in a bath tub, filled with bubbles
Soaking and erasing all my troubles
Staying in the water till your skin gets wrinkled
Spraying your hair you are getting sprinkled
The water so warm and so inviting
With candles lit, they're your only lighting
Such a pleasure I have found
Just me splashing, not another sound
So if you need a moment of paradise
Fill your bath with bubbles, I'd advise!

When I walk om Margate’s beach

When I walk om Margate’s beach
something is caught,
in the sound of the breaking waves
and it echoes there forever more.

The beach is wiped clear
by the rushing waters
of the high tide,
but somehow footprints
walk the beach
as if they were just set there.

In the pleasant summer
golden bodies spreads
right around me
and the waves,
are filled with children
splashing and laughing
at the joy of living.

Even As

Even as the sun
remembers to rise,
My body is reminded
to open up my eyes.
I find it easier to do this
when the clouds
don't cover the sun.
Gloomy days depress me
even before the day's begun.

Even as the rain
remembers to fall,
My body is reminded
to listen to it all.
For the sound gives me time
to think of what it means
to give the earth its drink.
Rainy days caress me
like teardrops make me blink.

Even as the moon
remembers to shine,
My body is reminded
to relax and unwind.
The day has been too busy
to appreciate how I
am connected to the moon
and connected to the sky
Even as I breathe.

In The Rain

I wanna go outside, go outside, go outside, in the rain.
Verse one (tiny):
I wanna go outside, in the rain,
Oh, I said I wanna, I wanna go outside, in the rain.
Cause i, I think Im gonna cry,
Cause i, I dont want you to see me cry,
No, no, no, no.
I wanna go outside, oh I wanna go, in the rain,
It may sound crazy, but I wanna,
I wanna go outside, yes I do, in the rain.
Hear me out,
Hey, hey, hey.
Verse two (kandi):
Once the rain starts falling on my face,
Then you wont to see, a single trace.
Right now I think Im cryin,
Because of you Im dying.
Dont want you to see me cry,
Let me go, let me go, let me go.
I just wanna go outside, in the rain,
Oh, baby, oh I just wanna,
Oh, dont want you to see me this way,
In the rain,
Oh, thats why, Ive gotta go.
Verse three (tiny):
Once the sun comes out,
And the rain is gone away,
I know Im gonna see a better day.
Right now, I think Im dyin,
Because of you, Im cryin,
Dont want you to see me cry,
Let me go, let me go, let me go.
Hey hey hey hey.
In the rain,
I wanna go, I wanna go, I wanna go,
(may sound crazy, may sound crazy).
I wanna go outside, go outside, go outside, in the rain,
(oh I just wanna go),
Ive gotta go outside, yeah,
Ive just gotta hide the tears,
In the rain.
I dont want you to know,
(may sound crazy, may sound crazy)
Oh, yeah.
I wanna go outside, go outside, go outside, in the rain,
Cant let you see me like this,
No baby, I dont want you to know,
I dont want you to know, that Im cryin,
Crying, over you.
In the rain,
I dont want you to know,
(may sound crazy, my sound crazy)
Cant let you see me, I cant let you see me cryin,
I wanna go outside, go outside, go outside, in the rain.
No no, no no, oh, yeah,
I gotta go, yeah,
Ive gotta go,
I, i, i, Ive gotta go, outside,
In the rain.
Baby, you wouldnt understand if I told you.
