What is inherently wrong with the word 'politician' if the fellow has devoted his life to holding public office and trying to do something for his people?

Chorus
Mr. politician please dont deceive us.
Mr. politician youre there to relieve us.
Just how can we tell, mister,
When to believe in you.
Oh wont you tell me oh who were lookin out for?
Mr. politician could be perfect but people its doubtful.
We want a leader wholl fight for the people.
We want somebody to take us to the steeple.
Wed like to point him out to you people,
But dont look now.

We want him honest, not deceitful.

And we wont give it up lord until we die.

For The Rest Of My Life
for the rest of my life
i will take the same routine
home, office, school,
home office, school,
a straight life confined
in a certain space
too confined and too
tight for my soul
and too boring
for my body
home, office, school,
school, home, office,
you ask me if there is
something wrong with
my life? there is nothing
right in it, everything has
always been wrong
and everyday has always
been an attempt to correct
it, but nothing
nothing has fit into it
to cut the routine to
break me from the
chains of everyday
nothing comes and nothing
goes, i think, that is how
it is meant to be,
i think, i simply have
to imagine, make some
figments of stars, and moon
and sun and mountains
and seas and valleys
and castles and princesses
and kings and queens
and too they become routine
too, some poems and stories
some people that do not
actually exist, some imaginary
earth, imaginary creatures
they are all here, in this routine
of imaginations, of poetics
of illusions and allusions,
these lines, my life, these routine
and all my excuses, you and I.

Societal Solution
Is there a societal solution
To my loneliness?
After all, society has caused the situation.
I am friendly enough I guess,
But people are too scared and under duress
To repond to my friendliness.
Do we form societies
Because we are not dieties?
Are we inherently crude?
Or inherently good?
I do not care about society's trends,
As long I can make friends!

Merit is not correctly measured.
An actress decries her fellow artist in secret.
A leader criticizes his rival in public.
A painter probes his fellow painters’.
But the public admire theirs without reservation.

Well, I think that those of us in public life that are trying to do a good job, and that are faced with this popular new game that the media has of being critical of everything that anybody in public office does probably are thin-skinned.

The Golf Writer (To Kevin)
The golf writer has become famous for a while the toast of the town
But a few locals with him not happy they feel that he has put them down
It's that he has a humorous streak in him and with his words he does not mean offence
Some people in their feelings precious and they lack a bit in common sense,
The golf writer is a nice fellow he likes a good laugh and a beer
His humor comes out in his writing he is a creator of cheer
He never does take life too seriously devoted to family and wife
One might call him happy go lucky he does his best to enjoy life
There ought to be more people like him some do take life too seriously
So down to earth and so very witty and few are as generous as he
So many look forward to his golf column and such witty articles he write
Though always one to feel offended in humor some do feel some slight,
Around the town well known and well liked his best to please others he try
He is such a likeable fellow and he would not harm a fly.

Petulance
Quit the public office first
If you want to be petulant.
If you show your petulancy
It is dangerous for the country.
Public officers are on the chair
Only for the general public.
And adulation is to
Give aside.

Trying to stay one without you here in my life
I dont want to accept the fact that youre no longer mine
Just to know that somebody else is holding and kissing you
It makes a guy like me feel like Im a fool.......so
Chorus: Ill do anything, anything you want thats my word its bond baby I was
Wrong please forgive me for what Ive done Im sorry Ill do
Anything, anything you want thats my word its bond baby I was wrong please
Forgive me for what Ive done Im sorry

Is there something that I can do to reassure
That I wont hurt you like this anymore....so

Word life
Word word life life
word life life word.
Life has its own word
Word has its own life.
word life life word
Life life word word.
Are you ready to catch
The word in your life?
Has your word the strength
And power the bear the life?
Through the word
Is your life become happy?
Word word life life
Coining of words through life
Is the successful art
That is to cultvate.
You are here
I am here
Words are around us
Go and trace
Go go and crash.

Pieces Of A Dream (Roger Sanchez Seven Minutes Of Soul Mix)
J.P. Maunick/R. Bull)
(Oh, holding)
(Still holdin)
(Oh)
Before you go
I'd like to say
You give me so much satisfaction
Started up a chain reaction
Tryin' to work out in my mind
A way to let you know
Oh darling
You're asking me to be strong
But I can't see the wrong
In what I'm doing
Just want to hold you every day
Locked inside this feeling
I want you here to stay
Chorus:
(Holding)
Cause I'm holding (I'm holding)
I'm holding on
To the pieces of a dream
Holding
I'm holding on (Still holding)
Still holding on
To the pieces of a dream
What can I do
But to be true
I'm getting such a strong sensation
And it's not my imagination
It's not me to pretend
So try and understand
Oh darling
My heart is chosen to belong
And I don't see the wrong
In what I'm feeling
I know it's time to say goodbye
But I'm not living in a lie
I want you here to stay
Chorus x 2
Oh, baby
You're asking me to be strong
But I still can't see the wrong
In what I'm doing
Just want to hold you every day
Locked? inside this feeling
I want you here to stay
Chorus x 2

Politician
'Right is wrong and wrong is right, '
The gleeful politician said,
'This is where our policies have led:
It didn't happen overnight,
But now we've achieved what we worked at for so long:
Wrong is right and right is wrong
And Truth is dead.'
