It is almost universally felt that when we call a country democratic we are praising it; consequently, the defenders of every kind of regime claim that it is a democracy, and fear that they might have to stop using the word if it were tied down to any one meaning.

As the Iraqi people better understand that Saddam Hussein and his regime are history, it is my hope that they will get behind the coalition effort to help them create a democratic government and rebuild their country.

A country which proposes to make use of modern war as an instrument of policy must possess a highly centralized, all-powerful executive, hence the absurdity of talking about the defense of democracy by force of arms. A democracy which makes or effectively prepares for modern scientific war must necessarily cease to be democratic.

Those helpless
I cry for those helpless
Bruises can be seen on their face
No greed but only one wish
The drive for only fight to finish
How may have committed suicide?
What does it speak of or confide?
Where are we heading for future?
No one can say it for sure
Like me many more may be bleeding with sound
Their cry may never be heard or look sound
It may be heard by vultures and hungry animals
Their entry may be noticed only after arrivals
We are democratic country with all the statutory provisions
Everything is written and prevails no confusion
Anybody can lay a hand on anything they like
Prices can be sky rocketed with exorbitant hike
What a common man will do to survive?
Where from will he manage to live?
Nothing is within reach for square meal
The big fishes have hand on everything to steal
Farmers are ending their life
Situation is not normal and torn with strife
Not a single day is passing off without any scandal
This is danger situation and may turn suicidal
Country may face near bankruptcy
Whole national wealth may look empty
It may lie in foreign banks to destabilize economy
To whom we may call friends or enemy?
Can we prefer such system where people have no faith?
Unarmed people beaten and pushed to near death
How long the country may witness upheaval?
Who will volunteer to sacrifice his life for bringing heaven?
No forces, democratic or autocratic, can muffle the voice
You have commitment and pledge to fulfill the promises
History may not pardon you for commitment of sacrilege?
You can’t claim immunity in democracy as previlage

Democracy in Yemen did not stop, instead it is in a continuous development, there is no other way to follow rather than democracy, it is our national way for building up our country, it was not imposed on us by others.

What is democracy?
They said that the government of the people,
By the people and for the people, remarkable,
Democracy in many countries of third world,
Derived from aimless policies and controversies untold,
People on the street hope for the better tomorrow,
As the tomorrow, their hope never comes true,
Is Painting the finger once in a few years the democracy?
Is carrying the placards with empty stomach a liberty?
Are the indebted human tied with the voiceless economical stump?
When people having nothing, they have the voice,
When people everything, they have a voice with no noise.
Human are made dump for they not want to lose their properties,
Human are made to be tolerant, when they are kept vertical,
Human are confused with capitalistic democracy,
Human are not comfortable with socialistic democracy,
What is the meaning for democracy,
when the mind and the body are controlled?

Damned Canadian Democracy Sept 17th,2012
Democracy involves elections in case you didn't know,
So appointing unknowns to the Senate is nothing but a floorshow,
And why can't this democratic illusion be altered or changed?
Ask anyone and everyone and it cannot be rearranged.
So Canadians are caught between a rock and a hard place,
And we can't change Trudeau's Charter of Rights or have it displaced,
And then it gets worse because no one seems to know what to do,
We need strong democratic leadership to push our way through.
We need referendums and death with dignity very soon,
To even mention these changes, is considered inopportune,
I can only imagine what separatists say about this,
But I don't understand a word in French so I have to miss.

Orbiting goes On
what kind of society
can't providework for all,
what kind of commuinty,
can't find places for the homeless,
what kind of society has no obligation
for all the sick, crippled and infirm,
what kind of community agrees
to let some have so much more than they can use
while others not enough to live on,
what kind of society does not honor its agreements
with old aged, one parent children and orphans,
because of bad planning
what kind of community lets its neighbors starve
while others have more than enough,
what kind of family is not involved in education
to stamp out ethnic and gender discrimination,
what kind of society thrives on unemployment,
what kind of society is indifferebt to suicide,
what kind of family lets their children use and sell dope,
what kind of society lets pollution destroy the atmospheres
what kind of planet can survive this way,
and goes in search for other life
and still calls it self a democracy and democratic

To my mind, there is a solution which has to do with democracy, because democratic governments are subject to the will of the people. So, if the people will it, you can actually create international institutions through the democratic states.

Friends
What is a friend
Could it be that it's just a word
Or something in your life that you've heard
Or just another one of those big fat lies
Because many nights this word has made me cry
So hard my stomach hurts deep down inside
[chorus]
uh oh there goes that word again
How do we let it end
I thought you were my friend
I can't believe my very eyes
Right to my face you lied
Cause you're my so-called friend
How could you call yourself a friend
Oh oh there goes that word again
That brings people together and tears them apart
It's always said by those who claim they love you
When all the while they want to fill your shoes
And never calling you up with no good news
They're always happy when your through
They never want the best for you
They're always trying to fill your shoes
(I don't understand this kind of friend)
[chorus]
uh oh there goes that word again
How do we let it end
I thought you were my friend
I can't believe my very eyes
Right to my face you lied
Cause you're my so-called friend
Opportunity's knocking here comes my friend
uh oh there goes that word again
(they only come around when they need something y'all)
They call you everyday 'til they reel you in
And they want to hang out so you can spend on them
(I don't understand, I don't understand this kind of friend)
[chorus]
uh oh there goes that word again
How do we let it end
I thought you were my friend
I can't believe my very eyes
Right to my face you lied
Cause you're my so-called friend
[repeat chorus til fade]

Riders Of The Storm
Sight a brand new horizon
Ascending from the hearts of those who couldnt see
The decline of man, the final stage of war
Spectral forces of mankind
Were all trapped inside the core of the machine
Our time has come to find a way back home
We seek our destiny in thee
In the eye of the storm
A genesis is born, reborn
Riders of the storm one with the wind, defenders of creation
Riders of the storm aligned with the sun
Phantom powers rule the earth
Descending down, controling you and me
What is left to see, is it all but a dream
On the inside looking out
Kept within a cage, behind a false facade
They cant keep us down cause our strenght is our will
We dream of a genesis reborn
Where our spirits fly free
Let us choose our own destiny
Riders of the storm one with the wind, defenders of creation
Riders of the storm aligned with the sun
Speak the word of Nemesis
Call for thunder call for rain
Let us meet our Genesis
Save us from the unholy pain
Solo: Oscar
Lead: both
Riders of the storm one with the wind, defenders of creation
Riders of the storm aligned with the sun

This Is Me
How can you just say that you love me yet to leave you alone
You said these walls were here to protect us, but it's still not a home
All these questions that are burning inside with answers I'll never know
'Cause you're the only one who knows how you feel, but you're not letting me know
What is it, love
Can I help you
I see where this has gone and what it's coming to
I look to you
Enough
Chorus:
I can't believe this is me
Where I can touch and not feel you
I feel I'm lost in a dream
Between what is and what seems
Having to face not to need you
You know you owe it to me
How can you think we don't need you
I'm tired of running away from my fear and the day
That our life has no meaning
Without a word or a reason
Like a coward, you're leaving
Sitting here inside an empty room that was filled with us
Only boxes to define what was left of what we used to call love
It's sad that after all of this time, you have nothing to say
Ooh, and the only thing that you could've done, you choose to walk away
I'm thankful, love
I don't hate you
'Cause I'd rather live and know than what you put me through
I needed you
Somehow
I can't believe this is me
Where I can touch and not feel you
I feel I'm lost in a dream
Between what is and what seems
Having to face not to need you
How could you do this to me
How could you think we don't need you
I'm tired of running away from the fear and the day
That our life has no meaning
Without a word or a reason
Like a coward, you're leaving
I can't believe this is me
I wasn't wont to believe you
I feel I'm lost in a dream
Between what is and what seems
Having to face not to need you
How could you do this to me
How could you think we don't need you
I'm tired of running away from my fear of the day
That our life has no meaning
Without a word or a reason
Like a coward, you're leaving

Praise Up
Keep on praising, keep on praising
Praise up praise up
Praise up your mind to find a way to live
Keep on praising, keep on praising, keep on praising
Praise up all you people living in your fantasy
Praise up all you people trapped in mental captivity
Gonna free your mind, gonna free your mind
Right now with this feeling, feeling
Keep on praising, keep on praising
Praise up, praise up
Praise up your mind to a fine fine way to live
Keep on praising, keep on praising, keep on praising
Its your expression, its your expression
Its your expression that is leading me to see
Open up your eyes, this aint no compromise
Praise up on lord with this feeling right now
Oh lord what a feeling
Keep on praising, keep on praising
