It is time to end the discrimination against people who need treatment for chemical addiction. It is time for Congress to deal with our Nation's number one public health problem.

Public Animal #9
Me and G.B.
We ain't never gonna confess
We cheated at the math test
We carved some dirty words in our desk
Well now it's time for recess
Old man waitin by the monkey bars
Tradin all his ball cards
And they promised him a gold star
And they told him he could go far
Hey Mr. Bluelegs
Where are you takin me?
I'm like a lifer
In the state penitentiary
If I keep my nose clean
I won't get my eyes shined
But I'm proud to be
Public Animal Number Nine
License plates are runnin
Out of my ears
I'd give a month of cigarettes
For just a couple of lousy beers
Or even a bottle of
Real cheap wi-hine
But that's the price you pay to be
Public Animal Number Nine, Number Nine
Hey Mrs. Cranston
Where are you takin me?
I feel like a lifer
In the state penitentiary
She wanted an Einstein
But she got a Frankenstein
Yeah, I'm proud to be
Public Animal Number Niiiirrrrrgh
Public Animal Number Nine
Public Animal Number Nine
Public Animal Number Nine Nine
Public Animal Number Nine Number Nine
Number Nine Number Nine
Number, Number Nine Animal Number Nine
Public Animal Number Nine Nine
Public Animal Numbergh Niiiirrrrrgh
Public Animal Nurrrgh Nirrrgh

M.E. Time
This is me time
To do what I gotta do
So please just let me be
I've always been there for you
Yes it's me time
I owe you no apology
You've had nearly all I've got
Now I must be on my way
Because it's me time
I just wanna be on my own
I'll do what's best for me
So I need to be left alone
Yes this is me time
I just need to do some thinking
Some peace and tranquility
You know I won't be drinking
For it's me time
Can you see it in my eyes
I need some time for me
I've always hated goodbyes
This is me time
I can deal with the physical pain
It can't really hurt me
I think I'm just staying sane
This is just me time
I've gotta think of number one
Instead of everyone else
To undo all the knots I've done
I just need some me time
Do things I feel I need to do
I've nothing left to give
It isn't me this time it's you.
I need my me time
I am trying to make you understand
That it's not easy being me
So with a virtual wave of my hand
this is me time,
time for just myself
I'll be in touch some day
when I'm in better health

Chemical Love
People goin round
Tellin others they are square
Around and round in circles
Is a ride that goes somewhere
All you need to fly
Is a heart dying to try
A chemical love
Its a chemical love
Aint nothin to it
Gettin cash when you are broke
Doin lots of time
Is worth a little snort of coke
Infected needles
Can aid you in no time
Through chemical love
Youve got a chemical love
Some people crave for physical love
Some people crave material love
Yet fewer crave for spiritual love
Youve got a chemical jones
Youve got a chemical love
Yeah, a chemical love
Youve got chemical love
Some people find themselves hooked on the
Weirdest things
That have nothing to do with living
Gods gift to us is our life whats ours to him
If its not our love, then nothings given, given
Some people crave for physical love
Some people crave material love
Yet fewer crave for spiritual love
Youve got a chemical jones
For a chemical love
Yes its true
The best things in life are free
Not material
Chemical or physically
Try it for yourself
Youll get a guaranteed high
From spiritual love, natural miracle drug
Some people crave for physical love
Some people crave material love
Yet fewer crave for spiritual love
Youve got a chemical jones
Youve got a chemical love
Youve got a chemical love
For a chemical drug
Some people crave for physical love
Some people crave material love
Yet fewer crave for spiritual love
You need a spiritual jones
For that spiritual love
Im talking to you
We all could do with spiritual jones
For some spiritual love

In coming to the Congress as a new Member and becoming a fellow Blue Dog, we have had an opportunity to share and really spend a great deal of time in examining the challenges that our Nation finds itself in in getting its fiscal house in order.
We need strong public health institutions to respond to any challenge. We need to deal with critical infrastructure. The reality is that very little money has flowed to communities to help our first responders; to help our hospitals; to help the public health infrastructure.

Addiction should never be treated as a crime. It has to be treated as a health problem. We do not send alcoholics to jail in this country. Over 500,000 people are in our jails who are nonviolent drug users.

Thus far
I took treatment;
The body-ache was gone; with it the winter too.
I took treatment;
The allergy was gone; with it the spring too.
I took treatment;
The acnes were gone; with it the summer too.
I took treatment;
The gastric was gone; with it the autumn too.
Sometimes I got fortunes.
Sometimes I was spared.
Sometimes I was rescued.
Sometimes I got miseries reduced.
I ascribed all to my God I believe.
With time I have grown thus far.
With faith I have stood thus far.

Warren Buffett, in a recent interview with CNBC, offers one of the best
quotes about the debt ceiling:
'I could end the deficit in 5 minutes, ' he told CNBC. 'You just pass a law
that says that anytime there is a deficit of more than 3% of GDP, all
sitting members of Congress are ineligible for re-election. The 26th
amendment (granting the right to vote for 18 year-olds) took only 3 months
& 8 days to be ratified! Why? Simple! The people demanded it. That was in
1971...before computers, e-mail, cell phones, etc. Of the 27 amendments to
the Constitution, seven (7) took 1 year or less to become the law of the
land...all because of public pressure.
Warren Buffet is asking each addressee to forward this email to a minimum of
twenty people on their address list; in turn ask each of those to do
likewise.
In three days, most people in The United States of America will have the
message. This is one idea that really should be passed around.
*Congressional Reform Act of 2011*
1. No Tenure / No Pension. A Congressman collects a salary while in office
and receives no pay when they are out of office.
2. Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social Security. All
funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security
system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system,
and Congress participates with the American people. It may not be used for
any other purpose.
3. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans
do.
4. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay
will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.
5. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the
same health care system as the American people.
6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American
people.
7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen are void effective
1/1/12.
The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen. Congressmen
made all these contracts for themselves. Serving in Congress is an honor,
not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, so ours
should serve their term(s) , then go home and back to work.
If each person contacts a minimum of twenty people then it will only take
three days for most people (in the U.S.) to receive the message. Maybe it is
time.
THIS IS HOW YOU FIX CONGRESS! ! ! ! ! If you agree with the above, pass it on.
If not, just delete. You are one of my 20. Please keep it going.

The End of Grace
The end of an age, an era of time, an age of grace, by God's Design,
A time when The Law was fulfilled, through Christ, as God had willed,
To deal with nations as a whole, a time of God's Grace for every soul,
For all to embrace His Revelation; the time to accept God's Salvation.
Are we now at the end of an age, when God's ready to turn the page?
To turn the present page of history, in a way which all people will see!
A time, when all nations in this world, shall see a darker time unfurled,
The change appearing subtle at first, shall go down as history's worst.
With Christ's True Church removed, all the nations become behooved,
To deal with the changing time, not through God's, but of their design,
By exalting one leader over all, the nations and peoples big and small,
Forcing all who dwell on the earth, to honor that man with divine worth.
This, while God continues His Plan, to deal with every nation and man,
As a world leader promises peace, God deals with Israel and enemies,
While Eternal God divinely wages war, from Heaven, like never before,
To rescue Israel from every nation, as prophesied in God's Revelation.
So, are you really ready dear friend, when this Age comes to and end?
Are you ready for what comes before, God on grace, closes the door?
As The Lord God raptures everyone, who belongs to His Beloved Son,
Saved, through God's only Salvation, from the wrath of the Tribulation.
When I came to Congress, like our first panel, small business people, 64 percent of the people had health insurance. We'd buy it. Now, we're down to about 34 percent. That's why we have to do something on health care in this country because the cost is killing us.

May become minister
Today anybody may become minister
As he has to play only role of sinister
Knowledge or no knowledge he will be our boss
Fate will be decided by only toss
Their world is limited
Only public is cheated
Their well (deep dug hole) is limited to grabbing
People around them stand and start clapping
Collect as much as possible
Public life is just gamble
You may be out of grace soon
Dark clouds may cover the moon
You will amass enormous wealth
This may sometime deteriorate your health
Yet you will have no satisfaction
Everything is done at the cost of the nation
It is not your concern if poor die
You will be pioneer in life with untold lies
The life has changed your status in public domain
Even though you know the consequences of pain
People may reject you at any time
You may survive little longer sometimes
Only good people may survive in long battle
It takes lots of time to settle
You will never weep over millions death
You will worry about corning the wealth
Nothing appeals you as mark of commitment
You have no remorse or corner for resentment
Religious heads too have mastered the art
Gain the confidence of people and slowly start
Someone should have mastery in art of convincing
People can be made simply into believing
Love not and feel happy about today
It might have given you an easy way
If your ride on the winds' wing
Fortune can swing in favor and can bring

On Clinical Trial
Prednisone, Deltazone
Coumadine, Compazine
Bactrim, Cytoxin
VP 16
costly cocktail of chemical war
remedial armies
seeking to engineer
the nauseous statistics
the kindness of treatment
the allure of cure
the punctures in the catheter
switches just beneath the skin
short scars spreading
where tissue is taken out and entered in
the routine challenge for significance
in an open and diverted time
of search for long remission -
a term of judgement and science
a treatment I consent to choose
and tactically look to use
but did not allow to become mine
do not agree by this to be defined
the claims of remission:
disappearance of symptoms
forgiveness of debt
a last release from sins -
and further kind regimes
so caught the while
in a crude philosophy of treatment
that is placed
with me
on clinical trial.
