I was shortly again at the castle, and the Princess gave me her hand to kiss and then brought her children, the young princes and princesses, and we played together, as if we had known each other for years.

Princes Familiar
Please be philosophical
Please be tapped into your femininity
Please be able to take the wheel from me
Please be crazy and curious
Papa love your princess so that she will find loving princes familiar
Papa cry for your princess so that she will find gentle princes familiar
Please be a sexaholic
Please be unpredictably miserable
Please be self absorbed much (not the good kind)
Please be addicted to some substance
Papa listen to your princess so that she will find attentive princes familiar
Papa hear your princess so that she will find curious princes familiar
Please be the jerk of my knee Ive fit you always
You finish my sentences I think I love you
What is your name again no matter Im guessing your thoughts again correctly and I love the way
You press my buttons so much sometimes I could strangle you

Radio King Dom
A few days later the king and queen of the castle were invited to a ball
As they were leaving that evening the queen said to the young prince
Who was the eldest of the children
Take care of the other ones tonight
And dont try to find that radio
We have it hidden away
Well be home by midnight
And then she said goodbye
The childrens mother left
And the party had begun
And the children looked everywhere
High and low
Checking to see if they could find that transistor radio
They couldnt find it they couldnt find it
They looked upstairs and downstairs
All through the castle and finally
All of a sudden they heard a sound
What is that sound is it possible
Could it be the pied piper himself
Coming out of the magic transistor radio
Or was it just the wind whistling by the castle window
No one knows if the mysterious pied piper of night
Was the one who came back to visit the princes and princesses again
But if you have a transistor radio and the lights are all out some night
Dont be very surprised if it turns to light green
And the whirling magic sound of the pied piper comes to visit you
(bow bow)
(Im the pied piper)
(bow bow bow bow bow)
(in the radio)
(bow bow)
(Im the pied piper)
(bow bow bow bow bow)
(in the radio)
(bow bow)
(Im the pied piper)
(bow bow bow bow bow)

A Virtuous Frog Is No More.
Once upon a time in a land far away,
in the great vast wilderness I wander,
with full assurance a beautiful princess,
she was dressed in scarlet velvet fine.
Dwelling on the shores a pondering,
The skylarks on the wing were singing,
the gay warbling sounds of the brook,
happened upon a frog as she there sat.
A verdant flowing meadow near her castle,
the sunshine cascading of her yellow hair,
into the princess's lap the frog did bound,
Hi! I was once a handsome young prince.
Until an evil witch cast a spell upon me,
One kiss from you, will my youth restore,
and I will turn back into a young prince,
then oh! my sweetest, I can marry thee.
With my old mother in your castle stay,
where you can prepare all my meals,
launder my clothes, bear my children,
feel forever grateful and happy doing so.
Later That night, as the princess dined,
sumptuously on lightly sauteed frog legs,
A white wine pepper and onion cream sauce,
Finished with the best Camembert cheese.
She had a chuckle and thought to herself,
Rather have mushrooms than toadstools,
giggling loudly I don't hardly think so frog,
The witch I thee drink a wee dram or two.

For All Princesses
Of being a fairytale princess; every little girl has dreams
So real to them, it all really seems
By her mean stepmother, Cinderella was made to work so hard every day
Her fairy godmother helped her out in the best possible way
She met her handsome prince charming at the ball
Losing her glass slipper; on the ladies of the land; he had to call
Everyone of them tried it on their foot
She became a princess without her soot
Snow White cleaned the house for the seven dwarfs in the wood
The wicked queen tried the poison apple trick to kill her; if she could
Into a deep sleep Snow White drifted
From her side the loyal little men; never shifted
Along came her prince; with a kiss awakened her
Living happily ever after; they all were
To prick her finger on a spinning wheel, an evil fairy made
Princess Aurora for one hundred years; asleep, stayed
To break the spell; a good fairy tried
After a great length of time; her prince was by her side
He had broken through the tanglement of branches; that did surround
The castle everywhere
Then he saw sleeping beauty lying there
A princess in a long white gown
On his knee and bending down
Her lips with his; the prince did touch softly
He stepped back; awake, was she
Rejoicement went throughout the land
The prince and princess together did stand
All these fairytale princesses had so many trials to go through
Before their wishes came true
Even the princess who on a mountain of mattresses had to sleep
Her awake all night, this did keep
She proved that she was a princess with a delicate skin; absolutely
As under all the heap of foam was a little pea
My daughter Sarah is a princess to me
That's how it will always be

The Memory Of The Kiss! ! !
This was the memory.
The memory kissed had played with the heart.
The memory kissed through fast the heartbeat.
The memory kissed made thoughts simply played with the feeling.
The kiss was the feeling of coming tempted promised heaven.
The feeling kiss appreciated each other.
The feeling kiss loved each other.
The feeling kiss gave each other.
It was the kiss through perfection.
The memory kissed had brought the wound.
The memory kissed came with yearning.
The memory kissed flirted.
A kiss not only played with the lips.
Because the kiss was destiny.
Because the kiss was to fill up the world was full of the colour.
This the kiss was the nature song.
This the kiss accompanied the prayer.
This the kiss accompanied the love.
And more significant the kiss always brought yearning.
The memory of the kiss had felt.
Shared the love shared yearning.
The memory kissed still was felt on the perfect lips through perfection.
The cost of a new life
In millions, Princes
Into deep sea plunged
For their solitary Princess,
In their do or die game
And were swimming in a race
Across the sea to the Arc,
Where she had waited with grace,
All the way to reach their monarch
In millions the Princes
In their struggle sank
On the march to the Princess,
Save a few hundreds in rank,
Who maneuvered through the gulf
Neck to neck; the fittest,
Past the rest, broke the nest
And shot the Princess; the rest dead.

Kingdom of Make-believe
Read my book at work: “The Ordinary Princess”
by M.M. Kaye – the best combination of fairy tales
“The Ugly Duckling” and “Cinderella”- that’s
ever been – or ever will be
Six princesses were born as beautiful as the sun,
golden hair, cornflower-eyes, a rosy complexion;
a seventh princess was born and was expected to
have the same beauty – sevenfold
But an old fairy, Crustacea, invited to her christening
promptly declared the princess would be ordinary –
as she grew up, her many gifts – Wit, Health, Charm,
Courage and Cheerfulness
Were all missed in her being plain. When the King
decreed a Dragon would lay waste to the land until a
courageous Prince would slay the Dragon and thus win
the princess’ hand
She could not abide such childishness, being plain
she enjoyed life so much more than her beautiful
sisters - they had to be careful never to spoil their
lovely complexions
The Ordinary Princess had mouse-coloured hair and
freckles – when she was to be locked up in a tower
she ran away to the forest and started work as a
kitchen-maid in another kingdom
She befriended some kind of page – the King in
Disguise – and they fell in love; she was unmasked
by her old nurse - he by the Lord Chamberlain;
they decided on a royal wedding
Both hating princesses and boring princes who
never learnt to enjoy life, they ran off to the forest;
each other’s identity still a mystery; they
recognised the same noble stuff
In each other before they knew their identities, he
was make-believe angry at her deceit when she was
unmasked; she also make-believe angry at him
when he was recognised –
I’m sorry to admit; I read at work, my eyes went out
of focus, my mind all confused; I could not continue
to do what was expected – some boring routine,
because I was no longer there
Being on the Planet of Fairy Tales – a special place that
I can’t transcend, it makes me too happy and joyous
so I forsake reality and dream in the Kingdom
of Make-believe…

Hangin Round
Harry was a rich young man
Who would become a priest
He dug up his dear father
Who was recently deceased
He did it with tarot cards
And a mystically attuned mind
And shortly there
And after he did find
Jeanie was a spoiled young brat
She thought she knew it all
She smoked mentholated cigarettes
And she had sex in the hall
But she was not my kind
Or even of my sigh
The kind of animal
That I would be about
Woh-woh-woh, you keep hangin round me
And Im not so glad you found me
Youre still doing things that I gave up years ago
Oh-woh-woh-woh, you keep hangin round me
And Im not so glad you found me
Youre still doing things that I gave up years ago
All right now
Ah-huh-huh
Kathy was a bit surreal
She painted all her toes
And on her face she wore dentures
Clamped tightly to her nose
And when she finally spoke
Her twang her glasses broke
And no one else could smoke
While she was in the room
Hark the herald angels sang
And reached out for a phone
And plucking it with a knife in hand
Dialed long distance home
But it was all too much
Sprinkling angel dust
To at and t
Who didnt wish you well
Oh, but you keep hangin round me
And Im not so glad you found me
Youre still doing things that I gave up years ago
Ho-ho-ho-ho, you keep hangin round me
And Im not so glad you found me
Youre still doing things that I gave up years ago
Hangin round
Hangin round, thats all youre doing baby
Hangin round
Hangin round, ooohhh
Hangin round
Hangin round
Hangin round
Hangin round

Princess Worthless
Your princess worthless on the sand
Dreams of charming to her hand,
To slate the dragon on her path
Slender silver and of wrath.
Her lonely heart and wonder mind
On the spit of sand shes confined,
No wealth or castle to deny
But an empty world alone to cry.
These lost tears fall on rainy days
Princess worthless in her gaze,
A prince of silver and dragon slays
The perfect prince but nervous says.
'The castle it wilts without a rose
Would you be the heart to which it grows'.

A Zombie Encounter
oh thought the princess
can a girl not walk alone
if she's got secret protection
if careful not to lose direction
then you should all be aware
for demons are a real scare
for he maybe a vampire
or she maybe a monster
if they should all be zombies
you alone could win the battle
if you have a sword of magic
if not run toward the light
for the stranger in the night
could be danger in the day
when walking from the castle
she came upon some dark rays
the princess faced the zombie
with her sword laced with magic
he said, 'so rad a princess for me'
oh this is so to bad for him
when he flashed his teeth
she slashed her magic sword
with a wink and a big smile
he ran and ran for a mile
oh he was lucky she did miss
for all he wanted was a kiss

And they are killing children
I dreamt
That I was a princess
In the Holy Land
A little young princess
Playing with little angels
Today
I saw her on TV
4 years old palesteenian girl
Drowned in blood
I stopped to dream
My lovely dream
Because
In the'' Holy Land''
They are killing dreams
And they are killing children....

Vines Collide
Looking out my castle window and what do I see,
bright green vines growing up a tree.
Vines are now climbing up my screens,
they form a web to protect me.
From the Troll that lurks outside,
He lives under a bridge is where he does resides.
Now Troll was forbidden to enter the castle once again,
He did not keep his word so he lost his princess friend,
Princess Melodie who does stay inside,
looking out her window where all vines collide,
Collide into each other so they will hide,
the princess’s magic castle where you will find.
Find all sorts of magic books that she has written,
Troll wants to be in one, for he is smitten.
Yes, troll you will know,
that soon it will be sold,
the Story of how the vines did grow,
to keep you out with your Big Stubby toe.

The Day Old Shep Died
it's been thirty years,
that he's been gone,
the day he died, brought tears,
all day, i played his song.
for nine long years,
i loved him and he loved me,
the day he died, broght tears,
toward the end, he could barely see.
when he died, i was seventeen years,
my child hood died that day,
the day he died, brought tears,
during his youth, we were always at play.
him and i was, so close in years,
when i got shep he was five and i eight,
the day he died brought tears,
he always ate his meals, off our plate.
he died at eighty-four in human years,
he lived to a ripe old age,
the day he died brought tears,
for this poem, he set the stage.
i can't believe, its been so many years,
i think about him, all the time,
the day he died, brought tears,
but old shep, was all mind.
of all these many years,
no dog has taken the place of old shep,
the day he died, brought tears,
i'll always remember, that dog with pep
in memory of old shep 1946-1960 written june 21,1990
Frog Or Is It A Toad (Fun Poem 22)
The fairy tale says,
that every time you kiss
a frog or is it a toad,
it turns into a prince or a princess,
depending on which story you have heard.
I thought that I would test the theory.
First on a frog, I tried,
but nothing happened there.
Then I grabbed the biggest toad,
gave it a great big kiss as you know.
All I ended up with was a big wart
on the end of my nose.
So if you are looking for a prince or princess,
do not kiss a frog or toad,
because you might end up like me,
with a big wart on the end of your nose.

A Song For Suzanne

Im just a man
Please let me
Sing my song
Its been ten years
Since I met you
And I first held your hand
My suzanne
That summer night
We dreamed of
Days to come
I held you there
Beside me
We carved the wishing tree
And then
We played the part of lovers
On that summer night
We played the part of lovers
You gave all your love and you made it seem right
You made me a man oh so young in my life
One simple verse
Like the words in a play
You spoke your lines
And I knew I must stay
Oh I must stay
Now we are free
And we are growing old
The wishing tree still stands there
And shades our memories
Of when
We played the part of lovers
On that summer night
We played the part of lovers
You gave all your love and you made it seem right
You made me a man oh so young in my life

Little Bombadier
War made him a soldier
Little Frankie Mear
Peace left him a loser
The little bombardier
Lines of worry appeared with age
Unskilled hands that knew no trade
Spent his time in the picture house
The little bombardier
Frankie drank his money
The little that he made
Told his woes to no man
Friendless, lonely days
Then one day, in the ABC
Four bright eyes gazed longinly
At the ice-cream in the hand of
The little bombardier
Sunshine entered our Frankie's days
Gone his worries, his hopeless maze
His life was fun and his life was full of joy
Two young children had changed his aims
He gave them toffees and played their games
He brought them presents with every coins he made
Then two gentlemen called him
Asked him for his name
Why was he friends with the children
Were they just a game?
Leave them alone or we'll get sore
We've had blokes like you in the station before
The hand of authority said "no more" to
The little bombardier
Packed his bags, his heart in pain
Wiped a tear, caught a train
Not to be seen in the town again

The Thistle’s Offer
...........A Fairytale
The King and Queen were sad, they had
no children, so the willow tree, led by a
thistle, weaved a crib in which the thistle
buried herself and died, the King and Queen
found a baby within – who became their
heart’s delight, they closed off the garden
from all outside, keeping the princess safe
from other children until thistles took over
the garden, children were called in to pick
them – and the princess disappeared, her
job done, the King and Queen loved all the
children of their kingdom instead – But
why, I cried, did the princess have to
disappear?
