Before, being a model, it was just a job, and I was making fun of it. But today, I take my career more seriously. The fact that a reader may buy an Armani item because she'd seen it on me in a magazine is very important to me. So much so that I intend to launch my own label.

The fact must never be forgotten that no magazine publisher in the United States could give what it is giving to the reader each month if it were not for the revenue which the advertiser brings the magazine.

Actually I am very glad that people can buy Armani - even if it's a fake. I like the fact that I'm so popular around the world.

I began as a model, but that did not really hold my interest for too long! I believe I stood out from the parade of models trying to make it in Hollywood, which helped launch my career beyond the one-night-stand horror movie.

Label me Not
Label me not
because the color
of my skin.
Label me not
whether I'm fat
or thin.
Label me not
because of my
religious belief.
Label me not
whether I'm strong
or weak.
Label me not
because of
my disability.
Label me not
just except me
for me
It wasn't on my agenda, but the thing about getting important awards is it makes the adventure of your career have a little more possibility. I think just what's happened so far is already making the opportunities more interesting, even though I'm at the twilight of my career of like 48 years.

There's no one actor in particular that I want to model my career after, except for the people who have been able to keep their career varied and who choose things that interest them. That opportunity is all I really want.

Theres No Label In Me
I have no label,
I have a life to live,
I have a family that cares for me,
Why label yourself,
Why choose to be emo, goth, prep, or whatever,
Why,
Can you answer that yourself,
Can find the answers I seek in this poem,
I have no label,
I am me,
I have found me,
My life is a cycle,
It runs around in circles,
Theres no label in me,
Don't label yourself until you know what your are or who you are.

Positive Role Model
Here we are
where we were
back on everything
Went too far
now we're fine
back on everything
So much for making it day by day
Back on everything
Instead of taking another way
we're back on everything
I want a positive role model
I want a positive role model
My reflection on the street
Is that the way I walk?
Introspection as I speak
I need to change the way I talk
In a changing world
there's so much you could be
Why can't you choose your self
like your enemy?
Have you ever imagined
a new you?
I could be someone else
Somebody new
Reinvention:
my intention
I want a positive role model
I want a positive role model
I want a positive role model
I want a positive role model

Nada Mas (only the poem)
Reader, your voice is the poem
you are the words; and
nothing more.
Reader, there is no poetry
unless you speak it.
Reader, there is no sound
you must find what it has to say.
Reader, seek the thought
rising from your soul.
Reader, look all about you, up and down
no one else has come this way.
Reader, there is no other poem
only you among the words of the word; and
nothing more.

Model Citizen
Be an Arab
Be a Jew
Be a boxing
Kangaroo
Beat yourself
All black and blue
I don't care
Be a bleeder
Be a Cancer
A hemophiliac
Romancer
Be a crippled disco
Dancer
Oooh... What a pair
He's a model citizen
I think I've got them fooled them again
He's an ultra-sweety guy
And a master of disguise
He's a model citizen
Just keep believing that my friends
I'm a model citizen
I'm a model citizen
I'm a model citizen
I'm a model citizen
I'm an all American!!!
I'm a hostage
In a city of creeps
They've got mercenary guards
That watch me sleep
They'd like to kill me slow
Bury me deep
In the heart of Texas
I'm a martyr
I'm a sadist
I might be the Saviour here to save us
I'm a friend of Sammy Davis, casually
He's a model citizen
I think I've got them fooled again
He's an ultra-sweety guy
I won't let down my disguise
He's a model citizen
Just keep believing that my friends
I'm a model citizen
I'm a model citizen
I'm a model citizen
I'm a model citizen
I'm an all American
I'm a model citizen
I'm a model citizen
I'm a model citizen
I'm an all American

Little Queenie
I got lumps in my throat
When I saw her comin down the aisle
I got the wiggles in my knees
When she looked at me and sweetly smiled
Well there she is again
Standin over by the record machine
Well she looks like a model
On the cover of a magazine
But she's too cute
To be a minute over seventeen
Meanwhile I was thinkin'
Well if she's in the mood
No need to break it
I got the chance and I oughta take it
If she can dance we can make it
C'mon queenie let's shake it
I said go, go, go, little queenie
I said go, go, go, little queenie
I said go, go, go, little queenie
Won't someone tell me
Who's the queen standin over by the record machine
Well she looks like a model
On the cover of a magazine
But she's too cute
To be a minute over seventeen
I said go, go, go, little queenie
I said go, go, go, little queenie
I said go, go, go, little queenie
Meanwhile, I was still thinkin, hmmmm,
Well if it's a slow one
We'll omit it
If it's a rocker, then we'll get it
If it's a good one, she'll admit it
C'mon queenie, let's get with it
I said go, go, go, little queenie
I said go, go, go, little queenie
I said go, go, go, little queenie
I said go, go, go, little queenie
I said go, go, go, little queenie
I said go, go, go, little queenie...

Not A Label… Poem, Prose or Thesis
Go out and get a name for…you…
Yes! Feminist if you must…
But a name of your own…
It's not a label…it's freedom for you…
Your will…your perspective…
Your personal therapy…
Men fine you(Ooo…Ahhh)
When you act(Ooo..Ahhh)
But a MAN…fines you Ooo..Ahh
When you show him Oooo..Ahh
Not a label but a feminist for sure…
That is the Oooo and the Ahhh is allowing…
Him to fly…invited of course…ha..ha…
A certain kind of mind for you…
That certain kind of woman…
Not a label…just free will…
And empowerment of steel…
That is what a mom is…
The sun holds nothing new…
But you as woman do…
God bless Amerika…
My home sweet home…
Not a label…born to a Willie lynch stable…
But did not silence Mom's Mable…
Still can't say what need to said…
Females put it into dreads…
Walking tall…and being free…was about being …YOU
Not a label…But the queen of the queen of the day…
Before the day …Woman was born…
You do not have to be top-less
To be law-less…
A free minded woman is top-less in mind
And law-less with time…
Her respect is now…before you wake…
Not a label…but a fact…
Her word is law…
Re-move your paw…
No means, no…not yes…
And those things you call gold
Don't make you bold…
But me cold…
The game is getting…old..
I…AM…YOUR…QUEEN…
BOW…wow…I'm in your view…
Move aside…coming thought …

There has been a day like today
But a fresh new day is today
It is a unique day today
It is wide open today
All the answers for our questions has today
Let us dream today
Let us laugh today
Let us share our love today
Let us express our greatness today
Let us trade many a yesterday for today
Let us perform our tasks today
Let us make it a magnificent today
Let us thank God for giving life today
Let us thank God for seeing His creations today
Let us love most about today
A golden day is today
For it is a fact today
