I was looking at making a shift in my career. I've been so blessed I'd like to be able to give that back. If I could find young artists, young performers I can nurture to have a career I would really like that.

On the loss of a young man
On the loss of a young man
~
A young man
With a steady career
Promising future
Highly rated
Close circle of friends
A young family
Well provided for
The kind of life
Many wish to have
All too suddenly gone
Leaving repeated questions
None will ever understand
Those silent tears
He wept and kept alone
Till they became to much
An obituary in a newspaper
Reads praise from many
The ending of his story
Sad and sadly unknown
Another young man
Gone too soon

First Encounter - Young Maggie Cheung
young maggie cheung
putting her at ease
the paparazzi and fans
Maggie Cheung was a young star when she came to Kuala Lumpur to promote one of her slaptick movies with Jackie Chan 20 years ago.
I felt back then, the Press and fans were those who put her at ease.
Of course, now that she is a much accomplished international star she has taken on a more sophisticated personality. She has learnt to avoid the press nowadays preferring to spend time travelling around the world especially Paris.
The below lifted from Wikipedia:
On 7 February 2007, The New York Times rated aggie Cheung as one of the 22 Great Performers in 2006 for her Cannes winning role Emily in Clean. After 25 years of making movies, Cheung is deciding to retire from acting and pursue a career as a film composer. She allows that there might be room for an occasional comedic role, but she would like to paint and compose music, after fulfilling her acting potential.

The sad news is, nobody owes you a career. Your career is literally your business. You own it as a sole proprietor. You have one employee: yourself. You need to accept ownership of your career, your skills and the timing of your moves.

It wasn't on my agenda, but the thing about getting important awards is it makes the adventure of your career have a little more possibility. I think just what's happened so far is already making the opportunities more interesting, even though I'm at the twilight of my career of like 48 years.

Carlos' In the Middle of the Road, Plagiarized by Me
in the middle of my writing career there was you
you were in the middle of my writing career
there was you
in the middle of my writing career there was you
never should i forget this incident
in the life of my broken eyelashes
never should i forget that in the middle of my writing career
there was you
there was you in the middle of my writing career
in the middle of my writing career
there was you
you were that stone.

And in my own life, in my own small way, I've tried to give back to this country that has given me so much. That's why I left a job at a law firm for a career in public service, working to empower young people to volunteer in their communities. Because I believe that each of us - no matter what our age or background or walk of life - each of us has something to contribute to the life of this nation.

I have friends, African American actors, who've had more of a struggle; hopefully they're starting to see some air and light now. But in my directing career, in my acting career, in my producing career, I haven't been bound by a lot of limitations. When I first started doing these kinds of unique characters, these diverse characters, there was hardly anybody doing them. So I had this open road.

What Are Best Choices?
At present I work
under my own direction
and financial freedom.
This may change after June
2011 world politics will soon
go through an oiled polar shift
illuminati is cause and effect.
At present
both my daughters
are very young
both my sons
have attained degrees?
financially sprung?
Even had they failed
I would be proud
if they had persevered
with genuine effort.
Perceive many choices
opportunities in oyster life
our abilities suit us to
irritation different pursuits?
Change is possible
and desirable
until we find
where our abilities
are best applied.
Youth flux young
have siren abilities
conflict difficulty
of being a teenager
is often complicated
by awareness
of economic life
pressures to succeed
in a career
to gain status
and enjoy
an asset better
lifestyle.
Where in truth
does real happiness lie
what are best choices?

Forever Young
May God bless and keep you always
May your wishes all come true
May you always do for others
And let others do for you
May you build a ladder to the stars
And climb on every rung
May you stay forever young
Forever young, forever young
May you stay forever young
May you grow up to be righteous,
May you grow up to be true
May you always know the truth
And see the lights surrounding you
May you always be courageous
Stand upright and be strong
May you stay forever young
Forever young, forever young
May you stay forever young
May your hands always be busy
May your feet always be swift
May you have a strong foundation
When the winds of changes shift
May your heart always be joyful
May your song always be sung
May you stay forever young

Careers
A career has overtaken me for it is easier than me,
You fight more than this to satisfy, to push the other.
Pulling a nail out of the wall means too much strength,
It entails the right career to be followed, and the real coin.
A professional is a man or woman in headaches,
The career is a job of brilliance that helped me further
And aided others, for my wallet is gone,
My purse is spent on the real conversation of thoughts.
