I've always recorded the same way. I put down as many ideas as I have, then strip them away at the mixdown. It's better to have too much music than not enough.

F.M. Doll
Take my doll put on her pretty clothes
Now don't you soil her dress
Brush her hair, paint her lips like a rose
Cover up your mess
Strip baby strip 'cause your daddy is watching
Strip baby strip just for me
Strip baby strip show your mother knows nothing
Strip baby strip Just for me, oh
Someone say doctor is my friend
Bruising is his cause
Behind closing doors
Strip baby strip for the soul of your brother
Strip baby strip for his wife
Strip baby strip 'cause you know she's not willing
Strip baby strip by the knife, Yeah
I lost my doll, put on my pretty clothes
I wont soil my dress
I brush my hair, paint my lips like a rose
I cover up my mess
Strip baby strip for the soul of your mother
Strip baby strip for her life
Strip baby strip 'cause you know you're worth nothing
Strip baby strip by the knife
Strip baby strip 'cause your daddy is watching
Strip baby strip just for me
Strip baby strip 'cause you know you're worth nothing
Strip baby strip for me, oh yeah

Sources of sexual pleasure
When you have a harlot,
You strip her of her clothes.
When you have your sweetheart,
You strip her of her modesty too.
When you have someone’s
You strip her of her guilt in addition.
When you have your wife,
You don’t strip her but remove her clothes..
Stripping is the pleasure
And the adultery is the foremost.

Some Music Can Inspire
It is strange how some music
can inspire more than others
and make you write and write.
Give you ideas, which
you quickly put down on paper
and turn into beautiful things.
Sometimes it is a whole collection,
sometimes it is a single tune.
Whatever it is the more it is played
the more ideas that come to you.
It is a love affair
that can go on forever
whenever that music is played.

Naked
Naked as a jaybird,
it feels so free.
Unclothed, unfettered
like a baby.
Not worn down
with clothes all around,
ashamed to be seen
but when no one's found
in your company
you strip.
Strip away your clothes,
strip away your shoes,
strip away the make-up
and anything you use
to give a false impression
for the entire world to see.
You're not naked as a jaybird
so you can't fly free.

Music To Burn
He writes so many sheets of music,
Ideas bouncing around his head,
But financial times are hard,
And he has music to burn,
He needs those keys just right,
He needs to know what he is doing,
And not just rely on blind instinct,
Because he needs this money,
That only a musical score can make,
And ideas are something that he will take,
So he starts writing,
Thinking about the stars who will sing,
His melody that will be in history,
That will be popular with the public,
For this is how he makes his living,
He can't afford not to have ideas,
So he needs his muse,
A muse that won't leave him,
Burning his music in frustration,
He just needs a key and the right note,
To make his song a song everyone will love,
So he puts down this pen,
And retreats to his piano,
Then he pictures a violin and plays,
The piano turns into magic beneath his fingers,
The melody flowing from his mind,
And intuition and instinct stop him being blind,
And he plays and plays, writing on his music sheet,
And knows his muse has not yet deserted him,
And will, at least, make this song a success,
With music he doesn't need to burn.

We took up the offer with the BBC, and that was Monty Python's Flying Circus. I didn't have to submit my ideas to the group. I used to turn up on the days we recorded with a can of film under my arm, and in it went.

The church was not merely a thermometer that recorded the ideas and principles of popular opinion; it was a thermostat that transformed the mores of society.

These are ideas. I could say that they just came to me, but it would be more accurate to say that I went to them. Ideas - and new connections between ideas - lead you away from commonly held perceptions of reality. Ideas lead you out here. Ideas lead you into the darkness.
Ideas For Walls
So many things in my head, Ive always had them before
No reason to be upset, theyre just ideas for walls
Now Im standing inside, outside, which is the right side
Im standing, demanding that the nightlife be called the right life
Like putting paint on my feet & walking sideways in rows
My walls could be so complete, complete with patterns of toes
Now Im standing inside, outside, which is the right side
Im standing the left side, right side, which is the right side
Now-ideas
Ideas for walls
Ideas for walls
Ideas for walls
A little m for the mirror, a double u for the wall
To make things perfectly clear, a great big h in the hall
Now Im standing inside, outside, which is the right side
Im standing, demanding that the nightlife be called the right life
Is everybody confused? (no) Im making no sense at all
You want a room with a view you need ideas for walls
Now Im standing inside, outside, which is the right side
Im standing inside, outside, outside, right side
Inside, outside, which is the right side
Now -- ideas
Ideas for walls
Ideas for walls
Ideas for walls
Ideas
Theyre just ideas for walls
Ideas for walls
Ideas for walls

I said to myself, I have things in my head that are not like what anyone has taught me - shapes and ideas so near to me - so natural to my way of being and thinking that it hasn't occurred to me to put them down. I decided to start anew, to strip away what I had been taught.

Lord of the Music
Lord of the Music
Some people tried to learn
the music they have heard
Others started to study its cord
but still it wouldn’t play
for their heads were so busy
rearranging the harmony
for their hearts were overwhelmed by the music
but they couldn’t get the melody
for they were preoccupied
adding notes and putting new words,
Some people are just too intelligent
directing the music and change its meaning;
Others put the music into category
to produce divided theory
of the Lord who started the legacy
of chorus who sung with him night and day;
of the Lord of the music himself played
to show the only way;
of the Lord who danced during
and the final performance on that day
Note:
(Cebu City, Philippines 2004)
The “Lord of the Music” is all about the story of Jesus’s life (refer to the four gospels recorded in the Bible) .

Explosions
We like explosions that leave you feeling good
We like ideas that change the world for good
Theres nothing past the stop n go
Theres nothing but the ebb and flow
Theres nothing like some in and out
Theres nothing more than what you know
We like new places that jets cant take you to
We do like music when it does what it should do
Yes oh yeah
Yes oh yeah
Yes (we like) oh yeah (explosions)
Yes (we like) oh yeah (explosions)
We like explosions its only right we should
We like ideas we thought you understood
We like new places until theyre overrun
We do like music -- loud shots from the big spudgun

There is no law against composing music when one has no ideas whatsoever. The music of Wagner, therefore, is perfectly legal.
Follow Me
verse 1:
so you're looking for answers,
and they're selling your choices
in the confort of your own tv
and the magazine covers,
they made you discover
beauty is all that you need
pre-chorus:
it's just a mean game
nothing but a mean game
nothing but lies
try to make you be things
tell you how to see things
why do you try
chorus:
if you're down on your money
down on your luck
if you get pushed over you can get
yourself back up
i said
down on respect
and down on belief
if you're sick of what they say
then come and follow me
ooh ooh, follow me
ooh, ooh, follow me
verse 2:
so you're man on a mission
who makes the decisions
to follow someone else's advice
cause deep down inside
you don't know what's
wrong from right
there's only so much
money can buy
repeat pre-chorus
repeat chorus
ooh ooh, follow me
ooh ooh, follow me
why don't you follow me down
repeat pre-chorus
repeat chorus (x2)
ooh ooh, follow me
ooh ooh, follow me
