Most of these pictures, taken while travelling, were developed on the mantelpiece of a hotel room, which proves that the method is easy enough to carry out.

Love Hotel
If you travel with
Those who know you well
I can recommend
Stay at love hotel.
Every room a hallway
Softly sell
Dont get stranded on the lift
Of the love hotel
Love hotel, love hotel, love hotel.
Dont deny yourself
It wants simple truth
Ring for give and take
As the floor and room.
Every room a hallway
Who can tell
Dont get stranded by the lift
Of the love hotel
Love hotel, love hotel, love hotel.
Every room a hallway
Softly sell
Dont get stranded by the lift
Of the love hotel
Love hotel, love hotel.

Why Was It So Easy
The light from your star is glowing
Yeah, I see you in the magazine
Your face seems older now, more knowing
But I prefer a woman to a teenage queen
The wine and the confusion
Its your game and you play it so cool
That night seems like an illusion
In your hotel room
German eyes, blonde disguise
Never really knew who I was talking to
But if youre supposed to be such a mystery
Why was it so easy for me to be with you
Why was it so easy for me to be with you
Too much time has come between us
And the sad words that I hear you say
Must mean you dont hold me inside you
But I guess it couldnt go any other way
That night is so far behind us
The words are changed and so is the time
I only hope that you think of me
In a hotel room
Oh those eyes, blonde disguise
Never really knew who I was talking to
But if youre supposed to be such a mystery
Why was it so easy for me to be with you
Why was it so easy for me to be with you

Hotel
[R Kelly:]
Ladies and gentlemen, you are listening to the sounds of swiss beats.
We got cassidy in here. Kels! We in our throwbacks.
This is for the ladies, we got room keys.
[Chorus (R Kelly)]
Girl you wanna come to my hotel, baby I will leave you my room key.
I'm feelin' te way you carry yourslf gir.
And I wanna get with you 'cuz you's a cutie.
So if you wanna come to my hotel, all you gotta do is holler at me.
'Cuz we're havingan after party, checkin' ut 6 in the mornin'
[Cassidy:]
I'm staying in the hotel, not the motel or the holi-day inn.
If that girl don't participate, well then I'ma take her friend.
Well if, mami is with it then, mami can give it then, mami a rider, I'ma, slide up beside her.
I got a suite, you can creep on through, I know you tryin' to get your freak on too,
I'll do it all for that, yeah I ball for that, hit the mall for that,
keep it fly for them, keep my eye on them, hot tub for them, pop bub' for them, I got love for ma, yeeah!
[Chorus (R Kelly)]
Girl you wanna come to my hotel, baby I will leave you my room key.
I'm feelin' the way you carry yourself girl.
And I wanna get with you 'cuz you's a cutie.
So if you wanna come to my hotel, all you gotta do is holler at me.
'Cuz we're having an after party, checkin' out 6 in the mornin'
[Cassidy:]
We're the new Car-tel, R.Kel with the kid Cass-idy.
Girl if you man start actin' up, ask for him or ask for me.
'Cuz see, we could go get it crackin, but you know what'll happen,
we be under the covers, makin' love to each other.
I got a double bed, one's to sleep on, other one's to get my freak on, it's all for them.
Yeah I ball for that, hit the mall for that, keep
it fly for them, keep my eye on them, hot tub for them, pop bub' for them

A Room At The Heartbreak Hotel
From where I stand
I can see thrugh you
From where youre sitting, pretty one
I know it got to you
I see the stars in your eyes
You want the truth, but you need the lies
Like judy garland, like valentino
You give your life for rock n roll
Uh huh
Stand, were on a landslide of love
You got everything you want
But what you need you give away
For primitive love
And a ride on the mistery train
A primitive love
A room at the heart...
The heartbreak hotel
A room at the heartbreak
Heartbreak hotel
A room at the heartbreak
Heartbreak hotel
You say its love, its not the money
You let them suck your life out like honey
Turning tricks, youre on the street
Selling your kisses so bittersweet
[gospel voices]
A primitive love
A and a ride on the mistery train
A primitive love
A room at the heart
The heartbreak hotel
A room at the heartbreak, the heartbreak,
The heartbreak hotel, hotel
[repeat until end]

I Made No Sound
deep in the thoughts I thought
I should be travelling
I should be travelling
travelling for long
but I made no sound
deep in my heart I knew
I should be travelling
I should be travelling
travelling far
but I made no sound
deep in the feet each move there moved
I should be travelling
I should be travelling
travelling forever
but I made no sound

Sitting In My Hotel
If my friends could see me now, driving round just like a film star,
In a chauffeur driven jam jar, they would laugh.
They would all be saying that its not really me,
They would all be asking who Im trying to be.
If my friends could see me now,
Looking out my hotel window,
Dressed in satin strides and two-tone daisy roots,
If my friends could see me now I know they would smile.
Sitting in my hotel, hiding from the dramas of this great big world,
Seven stories high, looking at the world go by-y.
Sitting in my hotel room, thinking about the countryside and sunny days in june.
Trying to hide the gloom, sitting in my hotel room.
If my friends could see me now, dressing up in my bow-tie,
Prancing round the room like some outrageous poove,
They would tell me that Im just being used
They would ask me what Im trying to prove.
They would see me in my hotel,
Watching late shows till the morning,
Writing songs for old time vaudeville revues.
All my friends would ask me what its all leading to.
Sitting in my hotel, looking through the window at the people in the street,
Seven stories high looking at the world go by,
Sitting in my hotel, looking at the world outside.
If my friends could see me now they would try to understand me,
They would ask me what on earth Im trying to prove.
All my friends would ask me what its all leading to.

(She Was A) Hotel Detective (single Mix)
She's got her ear to the walls and she's tappin' the calls
If you've got a secret boy, forget about it, 'cause she's a
Hotel Detective
my little
Hotel Detective
yeah she's a
Hotel Detective
Why don't you check her out
Well the bellhop is funky
The dumbwaiter's a monkey
If there's a knock at the door, boy, forget about it, 'cause she's a
Hotel Detective
my little
Hotel Detective
yeah
Hotel Detective
Cone on and check her out
She says she likes my face
She says she owns the place
Forget about it, 'cause she's a
Hotel Detective
my little
Hotel Detective
come on her
Hotel Detective
Why don't you check her out
Hotel Detective
Come on and swing with me
Hotel Detective
From the top of a tree
Hotel Detective
And make me feel like a bee
Hotel Detective
That's where I want to know you

Pictures
Whoa oh yeah
I've seen pictures
Well i saw you just the other day
And i could not help but look your way
I say you've just got this special look
That has got me completely hooked
Ow
Pictures on the wall
Pictures everywhere
Pictures on the wall
Everywhere i stare
Pictures on the wall
The ceiling and the floor
I'm in a metal room
And i cannot find the door
Will this feeling ever go away?
Or will this feeling stay?
Will this feeling ever go away?
'cause i can't live the rest of my life this way
Pictures on the wall
[c'mon]
Pictures everywhere
Pictures on the wall
[c'mon c'mon]
Everywhere i stare
Pictures on the wall
[c'mon c'mon]
The ceiling and the floor
I'm in a metal room and i cannot find the door
I see your face in the clouds in the sky
I see your face before my eyes, yeah
I see your face everywhere
And now i don't know what to do
Oh oh
Pictures on the wall
Pictures everywhere
Pictures on the wall
Everywhere i stare
Pictures on the wall
The ceiling and the floor
I'm in a metal room
And i cannot find the door
Whoa pictures...

Shes On The Zoom
Well she got up every morning and she waited in the cold
Got on the stinking yellow school bus and did what she was told
And she stared out the window, all the way down to high school.
She went to home economics just like all the other girls
Making chicken a la king and peanut butter swirls
But she knew in her heart there had to be something better somewhere.
Well the boys in the school, they were just a bunch of fools
And they acted like a bunch of bad bumpkins.
But she went out with this guy cause she knew a girls gotta do something.
He showed her pictures of his car (pictures of his car!),
Pictures of his room (pictures of his room!)
Ohhhh, shes on the zoom, shes on the zoom.
She wasnt meant to stick around here, and be some quarterbacks wife
She wasnt meant to stick around here, be barefoot and pregnant the rest
Of her life...
Well she got up every morning and she waited in the cold
Got on the stinking yellow cab, put the money through the hole
And she stared out the window, all the way down fifth avenue.
She went on all the cattle calls just like all the other girls
And she waited by the phone in her rollers and her curls
But she knew in her heart there had to be something better.
Well she ran into this guy who was down at 54
Had a lot of gold and chains and he got her in the door,
And he knew so many people, and he made her lots of pretty promises.
He showed her pictures of his car (pictures of his car!),
Pictures of his room (pictures of his room!)
Ohhhh, shes on the zoom, shes on the zoom.
He showed her pictures of his car (pictures of his car!),
Pictures of his room (pictures of his room!)
Ohhhh, shes on the zoom, shes on the zoom.
Ohhhh, shes on the zoom, shes on the zoom.

Hangdog Hotel Room
I go in for singing, I do it for my pay
But the kind of gig I can really dig is swiggin at the break of day
With a few good friends and neighbors into playin the nighttime tunes
So pass the jar and that old guitar in this hangdog hotel room
I believe in magic, a little monkeyshines
But the kind of row I can really hoe is playin in tune on time
With rhythms all around us were like weavers at the loom
So pass the jar and that old guitar in this hangdog hotel room
Oh lord it feels so good to play a nighttime tune
So pass the jar and that old guitar in this hangdog hotel room
When it comes to mornin and goin out at night
Well the kind of test that I like the best is rubbin the wrong girl right
And a few good friends and neighbors in to playin the nighttime tunes
So pass the jar and that old guitar in this hangdog hotel room
Oh lord it feels so good to play a nighttime tune
So pass the jar and that old guitar in this hangdog hotel room
With rhythms all around us were like weavers at the loom
So pass the jar and that old guitar in this hangdog hotel room

Trvelling down the memory lane
Travelling down the memory lane
is not all black 'n white.
Travelling down the memory lane
is not all lacking light.
Travelling down the memory lane
is not eye filled with tears.
Travelling down the memory lane
brings fresh and soothing air.
Travelling down the memory lane
is college, fun and friend.
Travelling down the memory lane
is full of curves and bends.
Travelling down the memory lane
is a test of time and mind
Travelling down the memory lane
is a joy of it's kind.

Carry On
It's easy to fight when everything's right,
And you're mad with the thrill and the glory;
It's easy to cheer when victory's near,
And wallow in fields that are gory.
It's a different song when everything's wrong,
When you're feeling infernally mortal;
When it's ten against one, and hope there is none,
Buck up, little soldier, and chortle:
Carry on! Carry on!
There isn't much punch in your blow.
You're glaring and staring and hitting out blind;
You're muddy and bloody, but never you mind.
Carry on! Carry on!
You haven't the ghost of a show.
It's looking like death, but while you've a breath,
Carry on, my son! Carry on!
And so in the strife of the battle of life
It's easy to fight when you're winning;
It's easy to slave, and starve and be brave,
When the dawn of success is beginning.
But the man who can meet despair and defeat
With a cheer, there's the man of God's choosing;
The man who can fight to Heaven's own height
Is the man who can fight when he's losing.
Carry on! Carry on!
Things never were looming so black.
But show that you haven't a cowardly streak,
And though you're unlucky you never are weak.
Carry on! Carry on!
Brace up for another attack.
It's looking like hell, but -- you never can tell:
Carry on, old man! Carry on!
There are some who drift out in the deserts of doubt,
And some who in brutishness wallow;
There are others, I know, who in piety go
Because of a Heaven to follow.
But to labour with zest, and to give of your best,
For the sweetness and joy of the giving;
To help folks along with a hand and a song;
Why, there's the real sunshine of living.
Carry on! Carry on!
Fight the good fight and true;
Believe in your mission, greet life with a cheer;
There's big work to do, and that's why you are here.
Carry on! Carry on!
Let the world be the better for you;
And at last when you die, let this be your cry:
Carry on, my soul! Carry on!

Hotel Rooms
'Hotel rooms constitute a separate moral universe.'
-Tom Stoppard
A bed, a telephone, the cord
to the world
beyond the womb . . .
Here lovers meet, have met,
will meet again behind different faces
while the icy picures
look on,
seeing nothing.
Hotel rooms see nothing.
Business transacted,
prostitutes killed,
marriages silently shaken;
what happens here
is off the record;
there is no record
when the sheets
are changed
every night
for other guests.
& you my darling
my lover, my reader,
ultimately
myself,
why are you hungering so,
why are you opening
abysses in yourself
before you rush off
to the next appointment?
Eternity is just
a hotel room-
deluxe or seedy
as the fates allow,
lonely as the loneliest
one-night stand,
& with no telephone.
Or is it the body?
Is the body the hotel room after all?
O let us inhabit it amply, crying
& screaming & embracing
before we
check out.

Hotel Room
Hotel room
In London
in my hotel room,
how sad, how sad I am here.
where is my best lover?
I put my hands on my head,
I try to set in my bed,
I do not know what words to say.
I try to catch my breath,
My lungs does not obey,
How sad I am here.
Outside there is a rain,
I hear a crossing train.
the pain hits me as hammer.
I dream to see you soon,
I dream about my moon,
How nice if you are here.
How fool I am my love.
to be far from beautiful love,
Alone, and sad, here.

Inside The Hotel Room In Hongkong
IF YOU SEE me here inside my hotel room
in Hongkong
you will not perhaps believe
that in such a short time of our separation
I am now looking
at our pictures
the one where we simply sit on the train
going to Baclaran
on the busy day
where we were looking at the other side of the window
taken by that stranger
upon our request
still strikes me
there was something in your eyes
that gives the premonition
something in the misty window
speaks about the unexpected twist
of a sad story
a plot that i have not mastered well
perhaps because
i was too trusting
the stupid man falls in love again
with a woman still possessing the full senses
of her world
i have decided to tear this picture
into tiny pieces of paper
my hands like a shredding machine
i open the window of this hotel
and let the tiny shreds of your face
be blown by the wintry wind
from the 13th floor.

The Lonely Room
Tiptoe around the room.
What is it that is found?
Silence, except for the clock that's ticking
nothing else is around.
An empty room with nothing in it,
only the clock that ticks the minute
in this lonely room.
Why was the clock left behind
with not a soul to tell the time?
It was on the mantelpiece
with nobody to hear it chime.
Was it left as a reminder?
I think it would have been kinder
to remove it from the room.
Left alone, it had no purpose.
Who could hear it now?
Ghosts from the past that once lived here
that have taken a vow
to listen to the clock's every minute
in the room with nothing in it
but the ghosts and the time.

Hell Hotel
Salutations paint his karma, bend joints in fighting words
Got his mean streak from his mother, ha ha ha
Now love boats paint his liver, with eyes on the city lights
Collapsin on the upbeats or relaxin for the night
He steps into a crazy hotel, the desk clerk hands him soap-on-a-rope
What does he mean by this?
Bellhop takes his flashlight, takes john up to his room
Va-va-va-voom this is a sweet life, anthrax on the couch
Were here to entertain you, or have you seen this episode
Were the ancient order of robot dolls, were putting you at the controls
Well, well, well welcome to hell hotel
Well, well, well welcome to hell hotel
Sports cars and the gamblin, johns winning every night
Well theres certain smells john cant repel, but momma it cant be right
He bolts awake laughing, but no ones in his room
And the big boss man doesnt understand why john cant smile no more
Were here to make you happy, thats all that we are programmed for
But you say this pleasures a pain for you
Sebastian c. could tell you more
Well, well, well welcome to hell hotel
Well, well, well welcome to hell hotel

I've always thought a hotel ought to offer optional small animals. I mean a cat to sleep on your bed at night, or a dog of some kind to act pleased when you come in. You ever notice how a hotel room feels so lifeless?
