Aristotle was once asked what those who tell lies gain by it. Said he, That when they speak truth they are not believed.

Liars when they speak the truth are not believed.
Here Lie's The truth
“Here Lies the truth”,
On Her tombstone this will be wrote.
It was never spoke when She was living,
So also in death, it will be unspoke.
By Her it was never said
it was as though pulling out Her soul,
So here lies the truth and herself dead
Both has died in sadness and woe.
Here lies the truth,
Not once by her was it cried,
Not in the days that she was living,
Not even in the day that She had died.
She must of believed that it was a sin
To open Her heart and listen to the word
So She closed her heart and locked it shut,
And She never believed in no one but Her.
Here lies the truth,
It lived but a very short life,
Though the Woman died of years of age
The truth though, never had a chance to try.
Everyone She knew had learned Her lie
They never believed a word that she said
So when She finally tried to speak the truth,
Her heart stopped; and She laid dead.
Here lies the truth
It lived but a very short life,
It was loved by neither Child or Man,
For they believe its living was but a lie.
So here in the grave it will lay dead
As it had lived in this woman's soul,
Never again will it be uttered or thought of,
Never till the end of time will it be thought of or known.

Truth and Lies
Is the truth beyond our lies,
Say what you want,
Watch what you say,
For our hidden lies, we must pay.
In the darkness of the night,
In the brightness of the day,
Truth and lies have gone astray.
Does your truth contain a lie?
Black as coal, the midnight sky.
Truth will shine,
It is the light,
To tell the truth,
With a soul so bright.
Is truth defined just in the mind?
In the Prince of Darkenss lies defined.
Love of the truth will scorn the Devil,
Our truth must stay at our highest level.
Of these shortcomings,
Are we aware?
That we speak of lies so unaware!
Every lie turns the truth aside,
Our secret truths, we sometimes hide.

Never Believed Me
Feelings just want to dance here and there
Nothing is permanent, even if feelings want to rest still
Nothing seems to be lasting forever in this world
Life, I am not able to understand
Not even true love is ever understood
Only lies are believed, as truth always remains unnoticed
How should I live my life?
My love has even taken her shadow away from me
I wish that if you actually believed, then now we would have been one
Truth, my truth you never believed
Pain of my crying heart, you never believed
Never ever you believed me
Tell me please my love, did I treat you this bad?
Only you ruled my life, while I was with you
Never did I claim to be a perfect person.
Feelings, my feelings only wanted to dance with you
Love you I truly did, my twinkling star I really did want to make you mine
Sadly you are not mine anymore, because you thought I will hurt you and use you
Truth, my truth you were.

The Truth It Can Be Hurtful
I may not like what you say of me but if of me you speak the truth
Though the truth it can be hurtful if it is not spoken without ruth
The truth cannot defame me if of me the truth you say
And if the truth taints my character well that too is okay.
But if you tell lies about someone and know them to be lies
Then the dislike I'd feel for one like you i barely could disguise
For lies can be defamatory when used in such a way
Any respect to a malicious liar i would find hard to pay.
The truth it can be hurtful as we all ought to know
But out of the truth it can be said respect for one does grow
And though you may not like what's said about you at least what's said is true
And to the one who speaks the truth credit is always due.
The truth it can be hurtful but the truth is never wrong
And those who cannot accept the truth mentally cannot grow strong
And though for some the truth is poison they'd rather live a lie
The truth lives on forever and the truth will never die.

Routines Refurbished
I 'use' to feel reluctant,
To speak the truth to those seduced...
By their own deluded foolishness.
Those who believed anything they do,
In their own defense...
Should not offend.
Even if lies told,
Protected them...
Within revealing embellishments.
But tired I became,
Being part of an audience.
And one seeking to be entertained.
By the same act sustaining without gain.
Especially when I heard my name connected...
To routines refurbished at my expense.
And to later discover,
How quick and cheap these acts were dispensed.
I had to stop finding,
Humor from such minds unwinding...
Slowly,
Detaching.
And clearly improvising sanity.

The Truth: : Humour, Inspiration
Tell the truth, are you crazy, the truth is for fools
In my clever world it’s lying which rules
Why opt for something as silly as sincerity
When you can easily choose dishonesty
Then you can tell lies upon lies upon lies
So many out there for you to devise
And believe them yourself, very nearly, why not
You weaved such an interesting, exciting plot
The truth, big deal, the truth is nothing but lies
My truth’s so much better, at least in my eyes
My lies versus the truth, so easy to win
Because I can keep lying ad nauseum
I’ll just spout out a lie, how easy was that
Don’t look for the truth in my kind of chat
You think I’ll be discovered, I’m way too smart
I’ll never say what’s there in my heart
My heart was stunted a long time ago
All this lying stopped any chance it could grow
When you don’t speak from your heart, it’s hard to see
The difference between truth and dishonesty

A Fact of Life
To say a thing and doing it is good;
To do a thing: keep telling it, is bad;
To mince one’s words and speak big lies is worst!
To talk one’s heart out does not suit this world.
Some think something and talk a different thing;
Some say something and do things opposite;
A few talk truth, no matter what it costs;
The liar gets accolades for long time!
Yet, human beings ought to be quite frank;
One lie will lead to bigger lies in life;
One has to be dependable most times;
Nothing can progress without talking truth.
’Tis tough to speak the truth always in life;
But talking lies is habit-forming soon;
Accountable is man to God some day!
’Tis better therefore to always speak truth.

Truth Are Lies.. Lies Are Truth..
speak your truth from your quivering lips
but also your lies comes through them..
your half lies are also your half truths
yet your half truths are also your half lies
what shall you talk about them if your thruth are your lies
and your lieas are your truths
then this world would be filled of noise
being lies and being the truth
until all of us will be lost
what to believe and follow
will it be the half lies
or the half truths?
which one is to choice
the truth is yours but also are the lies..
so let us all live with he truths and the lies
within our hearts within our minds
till we are lost in a maze of half lies and half truths

Truth & Lies
Truth stands to last
Lies fall so fast
Truth shows the light
Lies bring the blight
Truth makes a way
Lies spoil the day
Truth makes life groom
Lies give life doom
Truth leads to gains
Lies lead to pains
Truth you cherish
Lies you don’t fish
Truth gives one thrill
Lies make one ill

Lie Versus Truth
I always
Speak the truth
But
How can I lie?
Since I speak truth
I admit
Sometimes
I also speak lies
Unable to decide
I am truthful
Or a liar
I expressed
My dilemma
To an old saint
Who replied?
A liar is a liar
Similar to a sinner
All said and done
A truth
Which can take a life?
Is worse than a lie
A lie
Which can save a life?
Is better than
Any truth

The lies
Crawling into my bed, with innocent eyes,
hunting my fantasies, Why? 'I ask myself'
Why? the lies. The barbarous lies, coming
out of your mouth; I pity myself, but even
more the depths of your soul.That holds a
deep sharp tongue; the lies have spoken
your hazarding thoughts. Shame will hunt
you down, when the Angel's of heaven
manifest their anguish. The lies I believed
in; will speak back to you. And torment you
like a prison sentence, the angels of heaven
will never entwine, with hell and fire. I am the
heaven you are the fire that burns the pure
and holds the wicked.The lies that come from
the heart of evil. The lies will never conquer the
depths of my thoughts, nor the truth of my soul,
the lies will eat you alive, and keep you from
the bliss and joys, becoming like knives through
your tongue. The lies that grow in your twisted
mind.

The truth in you
I seek the truth in you
The weak lie is not you
So speak up, yes you
The truth hurts but it works
The truth simplifies and dignifies
The truth sooths preserving your youth
I ask the truth of you
Cry now, take a tissue
So speak up, yes you
The truth signifies and modifies
The truth is within and the best way to begin
The truth is a good start especially for sweethearts
I need the truth of you
Simply choose your venue
So speak up, yes you
The truth to any degree
Is a starting point to be free
Just like one and two make three
So speak up, yes you
If you agree

It happened to me
It happened to me
that a car salesman,
or a policy vendor,
or even family or friends
just tell a part of the truth
about something.
At times I wonder to where
has people’s integrity gone,
when people talk
as it looks the most prosperous
for them and cut on the truth.
Still the truth
sets you free
and I want to gain
much more freedom.

Lies That Need Beating
Lies said to hide the truth,
Lies said to to implicate others
And lies said for a wrongful gain
Are ones one must be ashamed of.

Eyes To See And Ears To Hear
My friend, you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink,
And so you can fill a man with wisdom, but he can't eternally think.
He can have eyes like both you and I and see colors of every kind,
But point him to the things above and he is often spiritually blind.
Many men listen to and even heed the advice given by a fellow peer,
But speak to them The Word of God and they will not be able to hear.
It seemed so easy for you and me, so why yet have they not believed?
Christ may seem obvious to you and me but friend they are deceived.
For the god of this world has blinded the minds of those perishing,
And unless we speak God's Truth Satan's lies will keep flourishing.
They perish because they refuse to embrace the Truth and be saved,
So God has given them over to their lusts to become utterly depraved.
But we can't be hasty and forget the life which we were saved from,
And how someone cared and pointed us to The Kingdom soon to come.
For we were all born into this world of sin where wrong seems right,
Led by our old nature we lived in darkness as children of the night.
But by God's Grace, The Spirit came upon us and gave us new sight.
And we were saved out of that darkness and brought into His Light.
For it is by the power of The Blood that we are no longer deceived,
And by His Grace we were then given ears to hear and truly believed.
Sonnet: Give Up Your Lies
How far can lies take you in life on earth?
The more you say, the more you can't avoid;
Nor lies can give a person real mirth;
And lies once said can't become 'null and void'.
Cut off the habit at the earliest,
Lest clouds dense-black of punishment still loom;
'Tis best to learn to be always honest;
Nip off the urge bud-like 'fore it can bloom.
Free is the mind that airs its heart by Truth;
The peace it gives is worth the efforts made;
Oh, learn to speak the Truth right from your youth;
The glory God bestows, can never fade.
The things that lies can win you- are for now;
When Truth is God, why don't men learn to love?

Truth
The truth about a truth is that
The truth can’t be concealed for long;
And when revealed, the truth appears
A bigger truth than what it was.
Truth is beautiful; splendid;
Truth is eternal; everlasting;
Truth is endearing to righteous hearts;
Truth is consoling, comforting;
Truth is perennial; evergreen;
Truth is God.
Truth is a virtue all yearn for;
Truth is global, heavenly;
Truth is uncompromising;
Truth is always encouraging;
Truth is desirable; exhilarating.
Truth is mankind’s ultimate search;
Truth is a great topic of research;
Truth is delighting; enchanting;
Truth is trust-worthy from
Beginning to the end.
No lies can hide a truth for long;
No lies can make a lie, a truth;
All lies will vanish leaving truth exposed,
As bright as ever any time.

I Forgive You
(Shut up)
For all the anguish,
And degradation
For every time I needed truth
And you were faithless
But disappointment, self-deprecation
But living a lie for fantasize and you could save me
I need my cross like a blanket
And misery is comfort
I can hardly stand to blame myself for filling prophecy on you
And in the end I decided
I guess I felt I deserved it
I should kiss your dirty lips for bringing me my clarity
And how did you just make me see?
How your lies have buried me
But I forgive you
Lord I must forgive you
So I
I feel so high
Just let it go we would
I forgive you
Lord I must forgive you
So I
(Shut up)
For all the torment
Loss of independence
For disrespect, carelessness with my emotions
For all the screams I swallow
How a soul is hollow
For giving into temptation
For making me feel like a cheap replacement
And how did you just make me see
How your lies have buried me
But I forgive you
Lord I must forgive you
Cos I
I feel so high
Just let it go we would
I forgive you
Lord I must forgive you
Cos I
All the lies that I believed
And all the guilt you make me feel
Cos I forgive you
Lord I must forgive you
Cos I
Ohh I feel so good just letting go
You know I feel good now you're gone
Getting stronger, letting go
Getting stronger, I'm moving on
Getting stronger, I'm letting go
Getting stronger, I'm getting stronger
No
This time
I forgive you
Lord I
And how the truth does make me see
And how your lies have buried me
I forgive you
Lord I
I must forgive you
Lord I
All the lies that I believed
And all the guilt you make me feel
I forgive you
Cos I forgive you
Lord I must forgive you
Cos I
And how the truth does make me see
How your lies have buried me
I forgive you
Cos I forgive you
Lord I
I must forgive you
(This time)
All the lies that I believed
Guilt you make me feel
This time
I must forgive you
I feel so high
I feel so high
Cos it feels so good just letting go
You know I feel good now you go
