It happened to me

It happened to me
that a car salesman,
or a policy vendor,
or even family or friends
just tell a part of the truth
about something.

At times I wonder to where
has people’s integrity gone,
when people talk
as it looks the most prosperous
for them and cut on the truth.

Still the truth
sets you free
and I want to gain
much more freedom.

[Reference: “Then Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in Him, “If you continue in my word, you are truly my disciples; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.” John 8: 31-32.]
