Our essential differences from the norm are both huge and deeply offensive to those among us who wish to be quietly integrated into society without particular reference to our nature.

Differences are scarier now. The dollar isn't so guaranteed if you don't follow what they see as the norm. But I don't moan about it. I just keep working.

C.S. Lewis

If the "natural" means that which can be fitted into a class, that which obeys a norm, that which can be paralleled, that which can be explained by reference to other events, then Nature herself as a whole is not natural. If a miracle means that which must simply be accepted, the unanswerable actuality which gives no account of itself but simply is, then the universe is one great miracle!!!

In a repressive society, a writer can be deeply influential, but in a society that's filled with glut and repetition and endless consumption, the act of terror may be the only meaningful act.

Carl Sagan

We have held the peculiar notion that a person or society that is a little different from us, whoever we are, is somehow strange or bizarre, to be distrusted or loathed. Think of the negative connotations of words like alien or outlandish. And yet the monuments and cultures of each of our civilizations merely represent different ways of being human. An extraterrestrial visitor, looking at the differences among human beings and their societies, would find those differences trivial compared to the similarities.

My Beautiful Nature

Nature is the beauty of the earth
The essential part of life,
It is the existence of humanity
Although there is constant strife.
Nature is rather appealing
The image of its green,
The human eye can testify
Its a gracious sight to be seen
Nature gives us fruit and water
Our blessings from the holy king,
It purifies and cleanses the body and soul
Its amazing what nature can bring.
Nature is sometimes downgraded
By the evils of mankind,
But nature brings herself back up
And she will not be left behind!
I love nature and appreciate everything it gives us...you should too!

A Tolerant Society

A tolerant society we've heard it all before
That fellow he is different he is from a distant shore
He never will be my friend so him i will ignore
I will only tolerate him just that and nothing more.

A tolerant society those words often used of late
By the leaders of the Government in a so called egalatarian State
Yet his birthday or successes we will never celebrate
We will only tolerate him he will never be our mate.

A tolerant society words best used to describe
That we will put up with others but we'll stick by our own tribe
Them we shall not acknowledge or to them say hello
And about them and their culture we do not wish to know.

In a tolerant society we only tolerate
And closer ties or friendships with them we do not wish to cultivate
He is from a different culture and our differences are great
And we only tolerate him he will never be our mate.

The broadest pattern of history - namely, the differences between human societies on different continents - seems to me to be attributable to differences among continental environments, and not to biological differences among peoples themselves.

Listen (A Prayerful-Poem)

No more words.
Only listen.
It's the holiest thing we can ever do.
Hear the breathing,
Of yourself... nature... the world.
Listen.
That sound, is Life.
Life is Holy.
Pay attention.
Listen.
It speaks
So quietly, yet so deeply.
... listen;
It has much to tell.

In Our Society Torn

After being blinded
Bye so much hate
You see only colours
Of homies and crypts

You learn to hate red
It's what you see every day
On the bloody splattered walls
Of your friends home and yours

What's sad for today?
Is that this is the norm
Of children who live
In our society torn

I wish I could break
The cycle of death
That haunts the child
That never knew to love

I offer a hand
To those in need
To learn how to love
To learn how to be free

What you see, what you learn
In our society torn
Makes' you stronger and better
Then those in CONTROL

Break free from the cycle
Learn to be free
Show the children colours
Mother Nature give's to thee

Indiscriminate Violence

Our society is getting sicker,
More conservative, more liberal,
More outrageous, more difficult to handle,
And more ravaged by an elusive cancer.

Everyone is a suspect, no one is exempt,
And the system can only attempt
To cosmetically apply a bandage
To a critically wounded adage.

Our frustrations get the very best of us,
We found ourselves deep in an abysmal mess.
We are incessantly racing toward the deluge,
Where everyone is flashy, dead and huge.

The authorities cannot unilaterally
Spew out a solution to this madness.
This is a fallacious epidemic, a global malady
Deeply buried in our sub-consciousness.

Our violent mind can go beyond the imagination;
One wonders: why the surreptitious surprise,
And why anyone should be hiding behind lies,
Deceits and unfortunate crazed malefactions?

Calmness, prayer and meditation
Can improve our current situation;
However, it is forbidden to do so in our zoos,
By the so called experts and the mad gurus.

Dogs have to cease eating dogs
Many have to stop behaving like dirty frogs.
Our society needs to be more civilized,
More forthcoming and more fraternized.

Our society yearns for immediate healing,
Constant and daily blessing.
Our society needs to be more attentive,
More passionate and more receptive.

All Are Precious

Every child’s, a precious one!
Every spouse, a precious one;
Every sibling, a precious one;
For, most have small, a family norm!

Every parent’s, a precious one!
Every student’s, a precious one!
Every teacher, a precious one;
For, most have small, a family norm!

Every worker’s, a precious one!
Every inmate, a precious one;
Every colleague, a precious one;
For, most have small, a family norm!

Every person’s, a precious one!
Every life, a precious one;
Every soul, a precious one;
For, most have small, a family norm!

So, take all care of every life,
And don’t take undue risks at all;
Life’s most precious thing on earth;
For, most have small, a family norm!

Low Society

A judge a dentist or physician
In this low society
Trade ambition for position
In this low society
Have you heard its in the stars
Next july we collide with mars
Have you heard it in the bars
In this low society
No more pay and lots of leisure
In this low society
Low society
Im just doing what I can
In this low society
But Im an incidental man
In this low society
I give away what others sell
The secrets yours so never tell
cos if you do youll go to hell
Low society
Side by side and always tired
All for one and no-one hired
All thats left is love inspired
Low society
And when the party is complete
And youre still standing on your feet
The taste of victory is sweet
Low society
And darling dont forget
In this low society
To turn off your t.v. set
In this low society
The most important thing at all
In this low society
Is not to stand too tall
In this low society
In this world that never learns
I can see rome as it burns
All the passion and the power
Turns to ash within an hour
No more play and no more pleasure
In this low society
