At first, I spend about four hours a day writing. Toward the end of a book, I spend up to 16 hours a day on it, because all I want to do is make it good and get it done.

I can spend hours in a grocery store. I get so excited when I see food, I go crazy. I spend hours arranging my baskets so that everything fits in and nothing gets squashed. I'm really anal about it, actually.

Green Grow the Rashes
Green grow the rashes, O
Green grow the rashes, O
The sweetest hours that e'er I spend,
Are spent among the lasses, O
There's nought but care on ev'ry han',
In every hour that passes, O
What signifies the life o' man,
An' 'twere na for the lasses, O.
Green grow the rashes, O
Green grow the rashes, O
The sweetest hours that e'er I spend,
Are spent among the lasses, O
The warl'y race may riches chase,
An' riches still may fly them, O
An' tho' at last they catch them fast,
Their hearts can ne'er enjoy them, O.
Green grow the rashes, O
Green grow the rashes, O
The sweetest hours that e'er I spend,
Are spent among the lasses, O
But gie me a cannie hour at e'en,
My arms about my dearie, O,
An' warl'y cares an' war'ly men
May a' gae tapsalteerie, O!
Green grow the rashes, O
Green grow the rashes, O
The sweetest hours that e'er I spend,
Are spent among the lasses, O
For you sae douce, ye sneer at this
Ye're nought but senseless asses, O
The wisest man the warl' e'er saw,
He dearly lov'd the lasses, O.
Green grow the rashes, O
Green grow the rashes, O
The sweetest hours that e'er I spend,
Are spent among the lasses, O
Auld Nature swears, the lovely dears
Her noblest work she classes, O
Her prentice han' she try'd on man,
An' then she made the lasses, O.

The sweetest hours that e'er I spend,

Near You
There's just one place for me
Near you
It's like heaven to be
Near you
Times when we're apart
I can't face my heart
Say you'll never stray
More than just two lips away
*If my hours could be spent
Near you
I'd be more than content
Near you
Make my life worthwhile
By telling me that I'll
Spend the rest of my days
Near you
Repeat from *
I'll spend the rest of my days
Near you
Spend the rest of my days
Near you (and fade)

Why Should I Be That Optimistic?
If I was given the opportunity each day,
To seek a happiness with that on my mind to pursue...
Why would I spend twenty three hours of it,
Being negative and feeling as miserable as possible?
'That's a real good question.
Especially when one has been given twenty four.
To me...
That would be a wasted day.'
But...
You would still have one hour left.
'To do what?
It already takes me a full two hours,
To find someone to listen to my complaints.
And why should I be that optimistic? '

I'd like to spend long hours at home
I'd like to spend long hours at home
With a small child to bother me.
I'd take her out to see the shops
And fuss about my husband's tea.
Instead of this I spend my days
In noisy schoolrooms, harsh and bare.
Unloved am I, since people give
Too many children to my care.

Is All About You
1 hour unity,
2 hours peace,
3 hours playing,
4 hours sleeping,
5 hours smiling,
6 hours living,
7 hours trusting in your muse!
For this river is mine and yours foeevers;
And, i want to be close to you always.
1 hour smiling,
2 hours learning,
3 hours thinking,
4 hours with your muse,
5 hours teaching,
6 hours working,
But, the 7th hour comes for me to sleep with you;
Because, this love is all about you! !
And, i want to be with you always.

Lets Spend The Night Together
Well, dont you worry bout whats been on my mind
Im in no hurry I can take my time
Im going red and my tongues getting tired
Out of my head and my mouths getting dry
Im hi-hi-hi-high
Lets spend the night together
Now I need you more than ever
Lets spend the night together now
I feel so strong that I cant disguise, oh my
Well, I just cant apologise, no
Dont hang me up but dont let me down
We could have fun just by fooling around, and around and around and a
Lets spend the night together
Now I need you more than ever
Lets spend the night together now
Oh
You know Im smiling baby
You need some guide baby
Im just deciding baby
Lets spend the night together
Now I need you more than ever
Lets spend the night together now
This doesnt happen to me every day
No excuses Ive got anyway, heh
Ill satisfy your every need
And Ill know youll satisfy me, oh my-my-my my-my
Lets spend the night together
Now I need you more than ever
Lets spend the night together
Now I need you more than ever
Lets spend the night together
Now I need you more than ever
Lets spend the night together
They said we were too young
Our kind of love was no fun
But our love comes from above
Do it!
Lets make love
Hoo
Lets spend the night together
Now I need you more than ever
Lets spend the night together, now

Rock Me, Roll Me
Have you ever been in love before
With a beautiful woman?
Does she have insecurities?
And have you ever been in love before
With a needy woman?
Is she too controlling?
She only wants you to
Rock me (she only wants you to)
Roll me (she only needs you to)
Spend a little more time
Spend a little more time
Rock me (she only wants you to)
Roll me (she only needs you to)
Spend a little more time
Spend a little more time with me
I need ya babe
I need ya babe
Have you ever been in love before with a cheatin woman?
Is she always lying?
Now, you ever been in love before with a crazy woman?
Does she make you crazy?
She only wants you to
Rock me (she only wants you to)
Roll me (she only needs you to)
Spend a little more time
Spend a little more time
Rock me (she only wants you to)
Roll me (she only needs you to)
Spend a little more time
Spend a little more time with me
Thats all I wanrt you to do with me, baby
Love me
Spend a little more time
Spend a little more time
Oh yeah, yeah
Spend a little more time
Spend a little more time
And I only wanna know
I only want to know your loves for real
Be your only girl in this whole wide world, yeah
All of these things are just a part of me
So that you can see what women really need
And I need to be loved
Rock me (she only wants you to)
Roll me (she only needs you to)
Spend a little more time
Spend a little more time
Rock me (she only wants you to)
Roll me (she only needs you to)
Spend a little more time
Spend a little more time with me

7 Hours
Today's a sunny day
And there's a lot of time to go with it
For me
I want to celebrate and have fun for 7 hours
So ladies and gentlemen
Make the food
Fill up the drinks
It's going to be a fun 7 hours
I'll bring my poems
Maybe my photos
Perhaps even show the ladies a dance I know
7 hours
And the time is ours
Full of nice memories
Full of good times
Full of new friendships
Full of whatever we want to make of it
These 7 hours
These 7 hours of perhaps stress free and
drama free
These 7 hours to be what we want it to be

I Know You Are There
i let you stay there
i know you have been there
before i arrived
i can't give a reason why
i am late again
traffic is a silly excuse
there will be more hours
waiting for more of the
coming hours
there are no moments to share
you look at me
as though i am a sick man
i am famished
i like to go back home
and better spend
my time
with the refrigerator.

Head In The Clouds
You don't know,
how much time I spend,
thinking of you,
and of you're love.
It's unbelievable,
how many times,
I've said I was done,
but realized I can't be.
Think about it,
I've spent hours listening,
just to the simple sound,
of your voice.
I've spent hours dreaming,
my head in the clouds,
with hopes of seeing,
us together.
I really can't imagine,
how far I'd be,
without knowing you,
were right beside me.
I know that it,
will never be,
however a,
girl can dream.
