There are people who claim to be instinctive cooks, who never follow recipes or weigh anything at all. All I can say is they're not very fussy about what they eat. For me, cooking is an exact art and not some casual game.

Too many cooks, cooking at the same time makes the day take long to break.
Greedy poem Gannet
I stuff my face with poems here
The meals served up in reams
I indulge in wordy gluttony
I'm bursting at the seams
But still you serve me more and more
Just like a pushing Aunt
I eat and eat all that I can
But finish? I just can't
You cook and bake and fry and grill

I want to at least try it all

Standing On Their Own Two Feet
Estimating a number from observations seen,
It would be too difficult to produce the exact figure.
Of the ones complaining,
About environments they wish to be in.
To do those things,
They claim they mean to do.
If in another scene.
Look they do for a climate,
With a certain energy that allows them.
To be themselves.
Look they do for other people,
Who are doing those things they claim.
For them they can not do,
Because being who they are.
They feel that to be restricted too.
Yet,
Excuses they make.
And this is all they wish.
A seeking for an environment...
With people doing what they do,
So a continuation of excuses can be made...
Hoping to critique,
With more reasons why...
Standing on their own two feet,
Is not as easy as those who are 'lucky'.

They started cooking food
A very long time ago

An inept man is a man who really swears,
The horde of men who really swear carry flags;
This age is vast to deliver a thought of wishfulness,
May the ages of a finicky man be sworn to him,
So that years and more years appear on him.
This inefficient man or woman is ready,
Fulfilling demands and fretting, filling.
The worries of an era of disorder are against us,

What's that smell?
It's delicious.
What is it you're cooking?
'Oh...
That's not coming from here.
That's coming from our neighbor.
I 'wish' it was me!
When he first moved in,
Many years ago.
People around here disliked him.'
Why?
'We thought him to be too arrogant.
Too sure of himself.
And...
He even told me,
He was the 'cheese' AND the chips...
We'd come to like WITH his dip!
