I became, and remain, my characters' close and intent watcher: their director, never. Their creator I cannot feel that I was, or am.

The Watcher

Like a watcher I must listen and see.
But never intervene.
Death of the soul has come over me.
A conscience with a little less stress.
Secrets galore, one time, one place, a person is erased.
Like venom it eats at you inside.
To know and do nothing.
So powerless.
I've become the watcher.
A star collector,
A master of all and none.
What is wrong cant be undone.
With an erie sound and light.
Guidance should be forthright.
But still I hear the whispers of many clouded minds.
Dark are the times.
I've become the watcher.
Distant but so close that i can feel the auras of those who walk the path a little too fast.
An error in judgement call.
To proud to take a chance instead of the fall.
I've become the watcher and yet still I musn't make a move.
For my turns coming.
But till then I must be patient and use the indirect power suggestion.
For any act of aggression would just lead them astray.
And that will never be okay.
So I will be on the front line with my eyes and ears as a watcher.

The Watcher on the Tower

I
The Voice of a Man

WHAT of the Night, O Watcher?

The Voice of a Woman

Yea, what of it?

The Watcher

A star has risen; and a wind blows strong.

Voice of the Man

The Night is dark.

The Watcher

But God is there above it.

Voice of the Woman

The Night is dark; the Night is dark and long.

II
Voice of the Man

What of the Night, O Watcher?

Voice of the Woman

Night of sorrow!

The Watcher

Out of the East there comes a sound, like song.

Voice of the Man

The Night is dark.

The Watcher

Have courage! There’s To-morrow!

Voice of the Woman

The Night is dark; the Night is dark and long.

III
Voice of the Man

What of the Night, O Watcher?

Voice of the Woman

Is it other?

The Watcher

I see a gleam; a thorn of light; a thong.

Voice of the Man

The Night is dark.

The Watcher

The Morning comes, my Brother.

Voice of the Woman

The Night is dark; the Night is dark and long.

IV
Voice of the Man

What now, what now, O Watcher?

The Watcher

Red as slaughter
The Darkness dies. The Light comes swift and strong.

Voice of the Man

The Night was long.—What sayest thou, my Daughter?

Voice of the Woman

The Night was dark; the Night was dark and long.

I think it's definitely beneficial for these characters to have good acting voices behind them and it affects the characters in a way that people can feel like they're part of the game and that they know these characters.

Lovely friends

Very true but for not those reasons
As they are close and confident persons
They are very close and important
Though they remain away their absence is really felt

The position will always remain vacant
As we may feel helpless like infants
Continue to rule our vast heart kingdom
Such position is witnessed seldom

The friends may remain so in entire life
Whether it is easy, difficult or torn with strife
We value it high without any expectations
Lovely matching with very good combination

Fundamental of Liar Chapter CXIX: In Their Eyes

You don't intent to be modest
You don't mean to say those white lies
You just don't want to be judged bad in their eyes

You don't intent to be friendly
You don't mean to chat a long
You just don't want to look ugly in their eyes

You don't intent to be strong
You don't mean to show power
You just don't want to lose control in their eyes

You don't intent to be brave
You don't mean to take the role of hero
You just don't want to appear weak in their eyes

You don't intent to be obedient
You don't mean to do all the orders
You just don't want to be considered a threat in their eyes

You don't intent to be professional
You don't mean to follow the rules
You just don't want to be seen indifferent in their eyes

You don't intent to be kind
You don't mean to give a help
You just don't want to raise suspiciousness in their eyes

You don't intent to be generous
You don't mean to be involved in any relation
You just don't want to be outsider in their eyes

You don't intent to be honest
You don't mean to tell the truth
You just don't want to be the one who should be responsible in their eyes

You don't intent to be forgiving
You don't mean to forget every mistake
You just don't want to be called cruel in their eyes

A Mirror Image

How many times when reading a book,
do we identify with the characters within?
Their traits they have we share,
their loves and heartaches
their lives go through somehow mirror our own.
It’s as if the author was writing about us.
As though he has put us under a microscope
and then writing down everything, he saw.
However, we know this isn’t so
because he or she has written
segments of their own life
and by accident they happen to mirror ours.
Every writer will tell you
that they have their characters under control.
Having written numerous novels,
I know the characters take on a life of their own
and do what they want to do.
We become their instrument as they guide us on our way.
We end up writing what they want us to say.
To every writer his characters are real,
they live, breathe and feel.
The more you write about them,
the more alive they become.
So the next time you pick up a book
and the characters seem real,
they probably are to the author
who looks after them.

Is that creator in you?

Let their sun rise to them from our west,
Let the doubtful ignorance be cleared as the mist,
Let the program on every chip be our tips,
Let our people wake up in pleasant hand shake.

The old civilizations and new world in Pacific Ocean,
The same old genes of first generation peaceful human,
The chart of nomenclature with variant faith, dream and color,
under the great grand name of Human, the creator.

The creator of the fire for the food,
The creator of tools for the growth,
The creator of mechanics for the transport,
The creator of electricity for the comfort,
The creator of magnificent diodes,
The creator of tiny humble chips,
The creator of laptop and internet,
The creator of wars based on faith,
The creator of ignorance,
To destroy all these intelligence.

Let the creator of peace in you evolve,
to teach the destroyers who revolve,
to reach those hearts that tremble,
Let us have the peace that triumphs.

I consider melodrama to be a story or situation created artificially, with the sole purpose of attracting an audience’s attention. This is contrived very conveniently. If you want to depict a truthful drama, it is permissible to use any means available. Here I mean any possible dramatic situation, including the extreme examples you mentioned. However, this is the area in which true artists are separated from professional craftsmen. If the director, the “creator,” intends to produce a truly artistic work, he must carefully choose the most suitable dramatic situation from the many possibilities. This selection is in the director’s hands entirely, and the choice determines how fine an artist he is

Fernando Pessoa

Second Watcher: The country here is such a very cheerless place... Where I lived before it was less cheerless. In the evening I sat by the window spinning. The window looked out to the sea and at times there was an island in the distance... Many times, I stopped spinning; just looked out to the sea and forgot living. I don’t know if I was happy. Now I shall not be something that maybe I never was...
First Watcher: Apart from here, I had never seen the sea. There, from that window, is the only place where the sea can be seen and can be seen so little of it! Is the sea in other lands beautiful?
Second Watcher: Only the sea from other lands is beautiful. That one which we see always makes us miss the one we shall never see...
