I acknowledge the privilege of being alive in a human body at this moment, endowed with senses, memories, emotions, thoughts, and the space of mind in its wisdom aspect.

Body Mine

This solar system mobile
slowly rotates
moved by a tiny breeze
I imagined just might
come from me below
breathing.

This was the silence of me.

The blank day was still
as the inside of a deep vault
no sound outside
no sound from within.

I sank into the moment;
my breathing muting itself
wanting to see
how comfortable
I was with the me
lying there.

Stillness is a severe test.

Then a quiet shudder
as I allowed an exhale longer
and deeper than usual,
this first shudder then
followed by another.
And another.

Breathing seemed to direct
my very being to another space
and my Body Being
in this circumstance
roused itself
came out
and displayed
its secret existence
which I
I realized
I ignore most of my life.

Startling to feel
Startling to realize
my thoughts leapt
to the idea
that this body was alive
separate from my mind
and had it own needs
goals and direction.

Startling to realize
that this my body
is alive in its own
right, separate from
me or my mind
but had separate Being.

I'd always thought that
aliveness was somehow
seated in my mind.

It and I talked.
It and I conversed
but what I thought
in that moment
did my body have to say?

What language does it speak?

I realized
had regarded it as a machine
to be feed or fueled
but not an entity
with its own Ideas.
For example,
does insecurity
lie in the mind
in the brain
or in the body?

What is a body idea
anyway, separate from
my head?

Can a body dream?

All of this was startling
and to this day
I'm still seeking answers
to questions

with more questions still.

Where does my mind start
and my body end?
Not sure.
but one thing is clear
bodies domain
is sexual;
and it wants to live.

Set Your Own Republic!

shun all Funs
Then life itself a fun,
when all pains shun
yourself done!

Perusal of senses
make you a slave,
Be dictator of none
but your own,
Tune the mind,
Rule the senses
and body,

Be the body is your land,
Mind is government,
Intelligence is security force,
Wisdom is parliament,
Let your republic have no flag or emblem!

Never water desires,
Let sensualities burnt
in the flame
Of Sensibilities
In the furnace of
indifference!

Saint Augustine cries from his heart

Brothers – sisters – do our years last?
Day by day, they slip away…
those which were, no longer are;
those to come are not yet here.
The former days are past;
the future days are yet to come…
but only to pass away in their turn..

Today exists.. but only in this moment
in which we speak, this moment now…
already, its first hours have passed;
the hours that remain do not yet exist;
they will come, only to fall away
into nothingness…Nothing contains
constancy in itself.

The body does not possess being,
it has no permanence; it changes with age,
it changes with time and place,
it changes with illness and accident..

The bright stars
have as little constancy;
they change in hidden ways,
they go whirling through space…
they are not steady, being is not theirs..

Nor is the human heart any more as constant:
how many thoughts disturb it?
how many ambitions now besiege it!
How many pleasures pull it
this way and that, tearing it apart!

The human spirit itself, although
endowed with reason, changes..
it does not possess being:
it wills and does not will;
it knows and does not know;
it remembers and forgets.

No one has in themselves, the unity of being…
so, after so many sufferings, diseases,
troubles and pains, let us return
to seeking that One Being;
seek out, join, those who dwell
in that city where Being itself is shared..

for a life without the sense, the sensing,
the living-out of eternal Being, is unworthy
of the name of life; only the changeless
gives us meaning in and for our change…

only the boundless frees our minds of bonds.

and his Sermon 346]

Moment To Moment

Too many nights of isolation
Too many echoes in my head
Too many fires left burning
In this bed
Too many thoughts of desperation
So much pain deep down below
So mych a slave to my senses
I cant let go
From moment to moment
I live and I die
This cant go on anymore
Another day, another lie
From moment to moment
I stand and I fall
This cant go on anymore
Unless we both give it all
I ask you how can a man keep his distance
How can he reason with his heart
How can you hold me so near
Yet keep me so far
From moment to moment
I live and I die
This cant go on anymore
Another day, another lie
From moment to moment
I stand and I fall
This cant go on anymore
Unless we both give it all
Sometimes Id like to break you down
To see if theres a trace of woman in you that could be found
But I just keep prayin youll come around
And live from moment to moment
I live from moment to moment
I live from moment to moment
So much a slave to my senses
I cant let go
From moment to moment
I live and I die
This cant go on anymore
Another day, another lie
From moment to moment
I stand and I fall
This cant go on anymore
Unless we both give it all
You know I want to give it all
I live from moment to moment
Everyday of my life
I live from moment to moment

Guru's Amrit

1. May Thee open Thy august mouth of wisdom
To make me drink the Amrit of knowledge:
My Sat Guru, take me out of
Darkness into light !

2. To begin with, mayst Thee make me
Contemplate on my Sat Guru !
Moment after moment, would I
Pine to kneel before Thee !
Day and night, not for a moment
Would I suffer separation from Thee
May Thee open Thy august mouth of wisdom
And make me drink the Amrit of Thy knowledge !

3. My Guru, solve the problems of my life
Now that I am born !
Humble me not among saints;
Subdue the thieves of
My emotive senses by
Strengthening the power of my will !
May Thee open Thy august mouth of wisdom
And make me drink the Amrit of Thy knowledge !

3. Subduing my emotions, break the lustful elephant
Of my pugnacious conceit
Guide me, only on one
............ of the eleven paths !
Keep me not off from
The word, SUHUM
(I m Thee).
May Thee open Thy august mouth of wisdom
And make me drink the Amrit of Thy knowledge

5. Make me wash myself clean
In the Sheshrum Nag lake;
Look not at my sinful life !
Ferry me too across, as Thou did
Mohini Sada Guru.
May Thee open Thy august mouth of wisdom
And make me drink the Amrit of Thy knowledge !

6. Moment by moment, let me
Meditate on Thee
Make me think of and do, only that
Which's right to think and do !
O, Kamadeva, Shyam Sundara
Let me not come and go
Come and go (Shuttle between life and death)
May Thee open Thy august mouth of wisdom
And make me drink the Amrit of Thy knowledge !

7. O, Bishambara, grace me with Thy presence
Stay awhile.
isten to my tale:
Revive my old memories !
May Thee open Thy august mouth of wisdom
And make me drink the Amrit of Thy knowledge !

8. Grace me with Thy presence in graceful garlands
And, show me Thy haloed aura, luster light !
My day has passed by, mayst Thee not
Make me wait any longer !
Mayst Thee open Thy august mouth of wisdom
And make me drink the Amrit of Thy knowledge.

It Was Only Yesterday When I Said I Want Your Body

yesterday i may have been high with my
testosterone
i wanted your body to satisfy me
i was so hard on
myself demanding what may kill me
at the end,
but then i jacked off
then i turned weak and flaccid in my thoughts
the heat is over
and time to cool off from our senselessness
and hard

headedness our unreasonableness to the demands of the hard
flesh,

now i sit calm like a lotus pure around this mud
i take back my mind
i put my senses intact

i still need your love, your mind, your care, your thoughts,
and your body to just sit beside me

i do not have even the courage to touch you.

Just Us.

As she got off
the school bus

she’d look back
to see if you

were following
her large blue eyes

searching each
aspect of you

having the wisdom
to take every moment

like some precious gem
and not let go of them

and as you descended
from the steps

of the bus
she was there

waiting
and an aura

of anticipation
about her

and that moment
stuck in your mind

the photo in your brain
without music

without words
just her standing there

by the school bus
the winter sky

drawing in
no one else

in the world
nothing mattering

just you and her
what she called us.

Cry of a Soul

What passion it was
anger or lust
who knows what
that turned him into a beast.
Stifling her throat, lest she cry
he infringed her modesty.
With her senses numbed
she sank into oblivion.
Like a loath, she lies ever since
vegetative she has been since:
she- who chose
to nurse our wounds and soak our tears
with tender smile and hands of care.
Now like a loath there she lies.
She cannot stand or even stir
neither eat nor even drink,
speechlessly, in space she stares
it's all hollow, nothing is there.
' She is in coma' doctors announce.
' Alive, she is' judges pronounce.
But, let me ponder:
is she alive though not dead.
Benumbed, she is
her senses do not work.
But what of soul,
doesn't it suffer?
Wasn't it hurt when she was raped?
Doesn't it hurt even now,
as her colleagues
under the cloak of sympathy
daily transgress her privacy.
Hush hush talk all around
and looks of pity that abound,
mercilessly they hurt the soul.
'Human right' that we pride
is all sham
a matter of shame!
Soul in her body still resides
in agony it still does cry;
when will it all end?

Note the difference between a right and a privilege. A right, in the abstract, is a fact; it is not a thing to be given, established, or conferred; it is. Of the exercise of a right power may deprive me; of the right itself, never. Privilege, in the abstract, does not exist; there is no such thing. Rights recognized, privilege is destroyed. But, in the practical, the moment you admit a supreme authority, you have denied rights. Practically the supremacy has all the rights, and no matter what the human race possesses, it does so merely at the caprice of that authority.

Painting dreams...

Gazing at an empty page,
Thoughts and emotions run wild.
A portrait of words come to life,
Like dreams of emotions dancing.
Images of us live on in written words,
Stirring my mind and emotions.
A world of dreams built within the mind,
Forever floating upon the emotions of fantasy...

Spread the love... The peace will follow...

The human mind evolved always in the company of the human body, and of the animal body before it was human. The intricate connections of mind and body must exceed our imagination, as from our point of view we are peculiarly prevented from observing them.

Laughing Sight

A laughing star gathers ground in the sky,
My sky of thoughts and shooting ones,
My apology to God, the ever-beckoner!
Well-versed sages reside in the sky with words
To dash and amuse you, out of their mind.
A laughable body of light is seen tonight
In the heavens as a great widening sight,
Ever-closer to the heap of tissue and blood
We call the human body.
My faith is clear:
You must attain the fame of a god that realises us
And not the aliens in space.

Human Body And The Soul

the LORD made the human body
and all its frailties
and that is what he gave, to you and me.
our bodies go through so many aches and pains
and not one, is ever really the same.

the body is just a shell that holds everything inside
and it is hard to protect it
no matter how we try.

unlike a turtle that can climb into its shell.
unfortunatly! we don't do that very well.
emotions and feelings is hard for us to hide
for it is seen by every eye.

humans are the most complex animal
on the face of the earth.
with so many emotions down this two way street.
our brain can not distinguish which one to meet.

everything has an opposite that much we know
and we don't always know, which way to go.
love, hate **rich, poor ** skinny, fat
how do we get through all that?

but! when we are called and told it's our time.

the only thing we leave behind
is a shell of you and i.

the soul is the only thing that is not taken away
for it is met, on this your judgement day.
all human frailties are left behind.

and argue as you might.
the life you led, is in his plain sight.

souls are like spects of dust
that you can not see.

and it takes up no space.
it leaves no marks
not even a trace.

The Recipe

To the basic mix add
a brain and a mind.
The ability to think
and the gift of being kind.

Add all the human senses,
and don't forget a voice.
A smile and sense of humour
depending on your choice.

A conscience for guidance,
in deciding right or wrong.
Feelings to stir emotions,
which could be put to song.

A soul to comfort the body.
a spirit to create and inspire.
A character to rely on
when times appear dire.

Sympathy and consideration,
and strength to stand tall.
Finally a huge capacity for love,
the most important of all.

Golden Autumn

The soft sunlight bathes
the last of the flowers.
The gentle sea breeze
kisses the branches,
releasing the sensual
scent of the lavender bush.

I'm drinking in the
moment - savouring it.
It spills over into
pleasant past memories:
People whom I've known
and warmly loved.

I reach out to an illusion
of strong emotions conjured
by the senses. Knowing it
will be lost as soon as
I try to capture it again.
Standing still now. Satisfied.

Autumn is slowing me down
to an enforced slower pace.
It is nature's way to ensure
that I savour every moment
left to me - no rush.
My life golden like the leaves.

Sonnet: Word of God

The special grace endowed in me by God,
Goads me to write to men about the Word,
Through pow’r of wisdom coming from the Lord,
So that, more flock can hear the Good Shepherd!

The Holy Spirit writes these wonder-words,
So that ev’n atheists may believe the Lord,
Who feeds and cares for human beings, birds –
And they abide and accept Him as God.

The words can pierce through hearts of stone and clay,
And give it love that flows from God above;
Even the dragon in them, Word can slay:
They acknowledge the one true God and bow!

The Word of God has power eternal,
And fills the soul with God’s grace cardinal!

Atma

Atma is the Self,
made of Prana, Mana and Vak:
Motion, Consciousness, and mater.

Intellect sheaths Atma;
Mind sheaths Intellect;
Senses sheath Mind;
Body sheaths Senses;
Aura sheaths Body.

Thus,
Rig, Yajur, Sama and Atherwa sum up.

Body includes brain.
Brain includes intellect,
And Consciousness.
So Body and Energy
Are the two parts
That join to make Life.

Thus,
Science approves of.

We deny not both statements,
one by subconscious mind
and the other by conscious mind.

That is why
Religion and Science coexist.

Searching Inner Space

Searching now for inner space
Sure one day to find the place
What means of travel does one face
This journey from the human race

Listen sounds to tell the way
Or wait the stars to show way
Doth the soul to body say
Suppress all fears felt today

If it's thought that moves the man
Act as if your thoughts still can
God designed this travel well
So we can move through heav'n or hell

Take a trip a different kind
Open channels in your mind
Inner space you soon will find
Is god and you intertwined

The choice is yours all's been planned
You can move through thought command
Meditate and learn first hand
Your mind controls this world so grand
