A Wordy Meal
A strange (learn ad) friend John
ate delicious dictionaries daily
for breakfast lunch and tea
at mourn noon and night.
A thesaurus is a ponderous meal
best not served at bedtime
a meal John spat out like hearty tacks
in sentences aimed at unsuspecting strangers.

A good breakfast cannot take the place of the evening meal.
Everyday Is A Special Occasion
with you
everyday is a special occasion
a celebration
so i wear my best polo shirt
and you serve me
the best breakfast in town
we hide nothing precious
you serve all the special things
for us
so when we die
no one laughs at us
for keeping things with
all dusts

Nearer To Trees
This is nearer to the trees, fully awkward,
An award has reshaped my mapped life;
Like the touch of breakfast, the forming meal
Of the paper-like day, rocky hills stagnate the time.
Away from wonder is the delight,
The sun stood in the sky of silver
To complain erroneously and abhorrently,
With a yellow shine and silvery line.
My forest beside the vegetables bends to the side,
My ripe path branches separately, to even worry
Like our souls that hurt due to presentations,
That heavily hang on the wrapped boxes, the breakfast.

What's so difficult...
What's so difficult,
About the word,
No.
What's so difficult,
About our,
Relationship.
What's so difficult,
About,
Us.
What's so difficult,
About the words,
Stay away.
What's so difficult,
About,
Don't talk to me.
What's so difficult...

The soldiers' last meal is generally served out about five o'clock in the afternoon, sometimes earlier; and a stretch of fourteen hours intervenes between then and breakfast.

The Seed
May my tears serve to nourish
The seed that is my dreams deferred-
May my life begin again, to flourish
As was, before I coffered my heart, now interred!
May my (now-feigned) smile serve to replenish
The jollity of the many years we have lost;
May the will of this Father's heartallow me to finish
What it is I started, no matter the cost!
May the hope I have for the future, in spite of it all,
Serve as the life force needed, to answer the call
Of my long-embattled, yet ever-resilient soul,
Which seeks the restoration of all that circumstance stole!
May the prayers that I pray, with dogged persistence,
Bring about long-sought aspiration that is my suffering's obsolescence!

For the Love of Swine
Breakfast without bacon,
Seems like no breakfast at all.
Without Italian sausage roasted or baked...
In spaghetti.
It would be like having a milkshake,
Without milk.
Or Easter without ham.
With leftover sandwiches to make.
And those porkchops are delicious.
Especially fried.
And if they are seasoned just right to eat...
Some can be cooked to bring tears to eyes.
Smoked shoulder, and pickled pigfeet.
Neckbones and hamhocks.
With hotsauce on pork rinds.
A meal with neither of these,
On many Southern tables...
Is worse than committing the most horrendous crime.
For the love of swine,
People the world over can not resist.
Some relationships have ended...
Over spareribs and chitterlings,
If they were not properly fixed.

Breakfast In Bed
(eddie hinton / donnie fritts)
Youve been cryin
Your face is a mess
Come in baby
You can dry the tears on my dress
Shes hurt you again
I can tell
Oh, I know that look so well
Dont be shy
Youve been here before
Pull your shoes off, lie down
And I will lock the door
And no-one has to know
Youve come here again
Darling it will be
Like its always been before
Come on over here
Breakfast in bed
And a kiss or three
You dont have to say you love me
Breakfast in bed
Nothing need be said
Aint no need
Whats your hurry?
Please dont eat and run
You can let her wait, my darling
Its been so long
Since Ive had you here
You will come again
Darling it will be
Like its always been before
Hey child
Breakfast in bed
And a kiss or three
You dont have to say you love me
Breakfast in bed
Nothing need be said
Breakfast in bed
And a kiss or three
You dont have to say you love me
Breakfast in bed
Nothing need be said, yeah
You dont have to

I have many memories of waking up to eat breakfast that my mother carefully prepared for us and her saying, what do y'all want for lunch, and as we're eating lunch, what do y'all want for dinner? It's always about the next meal.
Flourish
Flourish,
Dwell,
Unconditional,
Abject submission;
From coast to coast and from bed to bed!
And like the gold of Sheba,
But also like the showers which water the earth.
Flourish, flour, fish, his ours, hours, sour, soul, low, is row, howl;
From sea to sea and from bed to bed!
And like a starry frame afar off;
But i will flourish no matter what in the land of your sweet muse.

Easy and Difficult
Easy and Difficult
Easy to get a place in someone’s address book
Difficult is to get a place in someone’s heart
Easy is to judge the mistakes of others
Difficult is to recognize our own mistakes
Easy is to talk without thinking
Difficult is to control the tongue
Easy is to hurt someone who loves us
Difficult is to heal the wound
Easy is to forgive others
Difficult is to ask for forgiveness
Easy is to set rules
Difficult is to follow them
Easy is to dream every night
Difficult is to fight for a dream
Easy is to show victory
Difficult is to accommodate defeat with dignity
Easy is to admire a full moon
Difficult is to see the other side
Easy is to stumble on a stone
Difficult is to get up
Easy is to enjoy life every day
Difficult is to give its real value
Easy is to pray every night
Difficult is to find God in small things
Easy is to promise something to someone
Difficult is to fulfill the promise
Easy is to say we love
Difficult is to show it every day
Easy is to criticize others
Difficult is to improve oneself
Easy is to make mistakes
Difficult is to learn from them
Easy is to weep for lost love
Difficult is to take care of it so as not to lose it
Easy is to think about improving
Difficult is to stop thinking and putting it into action
Easy is to think bad of others
Difficult is to give them the benefit of doubt
Easy is to receive
Difficult is to give

Go far - too far you cannot, still the farther. The more experience finds you: and go sparing. One meal a week will serve you, and one suit, through all your travels; for you'll find it certain.

Do You Really Like A Free Meal?
you like free meals
they taste so well
nothing is bitter
everything is sweet
why do you like a free meal?
you save much for yourself.
why do you save much and not
spend anything for yourself?
you are into the vice of misery.
You are the miser storing much
and still beg for more
hence the free meal.
there is no such thing as a free meal
if you only know the real score
you could not have eaten that free meal on the table.
everyday you eat this unnecessary gratitude
tomorrow you shall pay it
with what? your dignity,
even your whole life.

Fortunes
Every morning a woman comes and hand picks her rubbish -
Gems discarded by the elite of the city.
She takes them to an interesting shop;
There she exchanges them for a meal ticket (money)
She chooses her meal as if fine combing a menu in elegant Paris,
In the finest eatery, along the finest strip.
Her meal is that of which they (the elite)
would never consider to chew.
Her enjoyment in consuming such a meal is one which
They can never realise.
