Going to college helped me, because I had four years in the conservatory program, which is close as you can get to a professional environment. It's like all day.

A professional player is smarter than a college man. He uses his noodle. He knows what to do and when to do it. He rarely goes up in the air as is the case with most of our college players when they get in a tight place.

I started radio in 1950 on the Lone Ranger radio program, a dramatic show that emanated from Detroit when I was 18 years old and just beginning college. I did that for a couple of years.

Gave my heart and soul to her
I met her on my first day in college
She was my classmate
Wasn’t beautiful
Short in height and Normal looks
An average student, No extra talent,
Nothing to attract my desire for love
I was new to the city and the college
She helped me with books and notes
Took me to the doctor when I fell sick
Dropped me on her scooter
To and fro from to college
Always greeted me with a hearty smile
Helped me in my thesis and studies
Never asked for anything in return
Whether in the college or outside
It was the same with every person
I met with a severe accident
She took my care day and night
I never saw her loosing temper
Never did she refuse anybody for help
Meaning of beauty had changed for me
Physical beauty was not my concern
Her inner beauty had captured my heart
I couldn’t stop myself from loving her
Gave my heart and soul to her

I am here to give the American people some straight talk about higher education. Some have said we might have cut financial aid for college students. The truth is we have expanded access to college for our neediest students through the record growth of the Pell grant program.

I always knew where I was going eventually, so it helped me to stay at home for three years. It helped me to develop my game. But it also helped me off the ice. Life here is way different, and I was able to get older.

The Pell Grant is more than a financial aid program for college students in need. It is the right thing to do for America's college students, and it is the right thing to do for America's economy.

That professionalism comes from what I've watched people do on the set. I'm just trying to be as respectful to the environment, as they have been. I think I still act like a kid. I just try to be as professional as I can.

Caught In The Balance
What happened to me
Oh it seems so long ago
The cuts run deep
But the scars still show
I live in the shadows
Where its been so hard to grow
Im still a servant in a noblemans robes
You know my weakness girl you know my kind
You helped me see when I was blind
Chorus
Its a crime to live my life without you
Serve out my years in darkness
Inside these walls I die without you
And when I close my eyes
Im caught in the balance
Afraid of the hurricane
I hide in my domain
I need release from all this pain
Please dont forsake me
In these ruins of your home
I cant wait forever
Dont leave me alone
I have a secret if you want to learn
I will surrender in return
Chorus
Its a crime to live my life without you
Serve out my years in darkness
Inside these walls I die without you
And when I close my eyes
Im caught in the balance
You know my weakness girl you know my kind
You helped me see when I was blind
Chorus
Its a crime to live my life without you
Serve out my years in darkness
Inside these walls I die without you
And when I close my eyes
Im caught in the balance
Its a crime to live my life without you
Serve out my years in darkness
Inside these walls I die without you
And when I close my eyes
Im caught in the balance

Democrats have laid out a program that, if adopted, would make us independent of Middle Eastern oil in ten years, and create a new economy especially for those in rural America. Our program invests in clean energy alternatives and provides energy assistance for those in need.

For me it was perfect, because it wasn't a very competitive environment, and it was a studio program. They basically send you off, and say, bring us some work, and we'll help you improve it. It really rewarded self-discipline.

Farewell Beloved Madinah
My life in Madinah has been a great blessing,
It is the very place I will be greatly missing.
I've known some good fellows,
Who helped me with my sorrows.
To be a good teacher, or not to be so,
Has always rendered me a friend or a foe.
I like the place here, the Dean and the College,
They all helped me augment my knowledge.
I know for a fact I was sometimes unkind,
So please forgive me that I know you won't mind.
I wish I could say more,
I wish I were so sure,
That we shall stay together,
Happy, and true to each other.
