The Papacy is not other than the Ghost of the deceased Roman Empire, sitting crowned upon the grave thereof.

Leading You Astray
Bad people,
Power cuts!
Aspire,
Inspire,
Milk and honey,
Sugar and tea,
Survival of the fittest! !
Strength,
Change, challenge!
And, it took place in her room twice.
The 4th Empire was the Roman Empire!
The 4th Beast was the Roman Empire! !
Drones, thrones, stone;
Like the great sword with eyes all over it,
but, your uncontrolled lust is leading you astray.

The dead citizen
A man went to get his identity document
and for a passport at the same time
and was found by the Department of Home Affairs
to be dead and buried
and they did not care that he was still living
and instead declared him deceased and past away
His accounts at the bank were frozen
as part of the estate
of a person deceased
and he couldn’t leave the country
or renew his driver’s license
and draw any money
and he was declared to be deceased and past away.
He went to the head office
of that great State Department
and declared his problem with them
and they were amused
that the dead citizen
had risen again,
but he was still a living man
with substance and form
and not a ghost
that had stepped from the grave
and he was declared to be deceased and past away.

This agglomeration which was called and which still calls itself the Holy Roman Empire was neither holy, nor Roman, nor an empire.
All comparisons between America's current place in the world and anything legitimately called an empire in the past reveal ignorance and confusion about any reasonable meaning of the concept empire, especially the comparison with the Roman Empire.

Taxation Beyond Death
A taxation beyond the grave
A bill without receipt
A rental disagreement
For the socially deceased
A thought of public space
The potential revenue made
To fill the coffers of government
Money from the grave
The subtle moves they placed
Not just a place of mourning
But prime advertising space
Then the service fees incurred
Maintenance and service
Cost too much to the public
It became in our own interest
Or that they would have us know
That the resting land taxation
Was as just and rightful
And so perfectly legal
The coffers filled by coffins
A taxation on the socially deceased
No longer a grave yard
But national rental space

The Modern Olympic Games,
Manifested through the routes of the Gods!
So brace yourself to the troubles ahead.
Brigitte my friend,
We have the Julian Calender hanging in our rooms;
But it is part of the Roman Empire handed over to us.
Instead of the Lunar Calender,
We have the Roman Calendar!
For the Spring Time which started the year is now,
Changed to to January which is still Winter! !
All the same, the just will live by the faith.

The Lack Thereof
Amid the mystic fields of dreams
I wandered, and came on a grave.
Breathlessly still was all around
Yet breathin' with an easy heart;
And there beyond, in wooded grove,
Were visions, all so much the same,
That they became one. A girl drew near,
And on me gazed with wanderin' eye,
And would have passed, but that I called,
Clappin' my hands above my head,
‘My time is now! ' and I followed
After the beautiful spirit
And bade her stop and look at me.
And so I called her lovelier
Than any else, only because
She only then before me was.
And, while we stood and gazed, a change,
Diversely strange, was seen in her:
She became ever more and more
The one I loved before, ago;
Could this be true, could this angel,
Such that I could no longer doubt,
Be the same, who was now to sight
My muse, as lovely as last seen,
As outer darkness starts to fall,
Is this her or the lack therof.
And what of, the abandoned grave,
The girl now walks slowly towards
And blindly circles, in half-turns,
Now dances she round the tomb site;
And, as the light of the moon glows
Illuminatin' her movements
Of diviner motion, she said,
"Come, come and see, see what awaits.
‘That which could not be kept or held,
Seekin' reason, aspires to die,
And, unspeakably, profoundly
Unrequited desire is crowned! "
From this exaltation I stir
As my eyes look at the marker
And comprehend the epitaph
Here Lies Love and the Lack Thereof!
To the same old tune, but softer
The maiden sang, ‘What did you do,
Then, for love and the lack thereof
Of such an ineffectual flame
As ill consumes the sacrifice! '

Empires
Empires
On the ancient road I hear roman soldiers’ footsteps, all roads lead back to an empire;
and nothing has changed the poor die in the service of their masters. The Romans took
the elites sons of country they wanted to dictate sent them to Rome trained and sent
them back and they had vassal state. It didn’t always work, loyalty became resentment
and uprising, the kept kings demanded more power. The new empire is doing the same,
sends sons and daughters of the elite, in countries they want to control, to Harvard, we
get the royal household of Jordan. Sometime it backfires and we get Osama Bin Laden.
All empires must fall it’s written in the stars, their outpost Israel, is a sacrilege, losing her
humanity. I hear tired Roman soldiers marching on roads their foes will take when they
come to crush them. Iraq is a civil war waiting to happen, Afghanistan is a lost cause and
Pakistan will never submit to foreign dominance. I hear the footsteps, the new empires’
soldiers, the urban poor, have been promised glory, and shiny medals, as always they die
for a dream not theirs. The ghosts of roman soldiers marches on through the centuries,
nothing has changed in two thousand years.

Time Rules Carved Out Empire Journeys
Darius I of Persia earlier standout stars;
having attacked conquered Ancient Egypt
built a canal linking his Persian Red Sea?
To the Mediterranean through desert sands;
Darius's canal wide enough for two triremes
to pass each other with all oars extended?
Required mere four days to canal traverse;
history turns Persian Roman Empires are extinct?
No Eastern Roman Empire now time rules?

Ghost
I'm like a ghost
Flying in the night
Im in the darkness of light
Im a ghost or at least thats how I feel
Im like a zombie
Things have taken over.
Im like a ghost
Hovering over myself
Looking down at the mess
Labelled with my name
I see the mess below me
The mess is me
Im a ghost of my formal self
Im a ghost that floats above
Im a ghost of life
A ghost of my old self
Half the person I used to be

Silly; Religion: Rich Man Vs. Ghost
honest 'scrooge':
The rich man said 'I care not to breed; time's too valuable to sow my ‘seed'.
Money's my own evil, like cotton has its weevil.
All I really care about is greed.'
rich man is warned:
To rich man one eve came a tall ghost. Said the foretelling ghost to his host:
'All money you can save you can take to your grave,
but in Hell you'll still be scorched toast.'
ooh! scary ghost (not) ! :
Rich man to ghost: 'You're not so clever. You'll find I have no panic lever.
L. R. Hubbard did say 'rich men, live for today;
Scientologists live forever'.'
ghost retorts:
Ghost to rich man: 'I have discovered what became of your L. R. Hubbard.
He told a mighty tale, but his beliefs did fail….
to keep him out of the Devil's cupboard.'
rich man retorts back:
Rich man to ghost: 'I believe you're a liar. I think your tail will be on fire.
I would not hire you …to fix the sole of my shoe, …
let alone 'my soul '. You conspire! ! '
ghost gives up! (almost) :
At that the poor ghost his head did scratch, thinking, perhaps, he'd met his match.
Then he saw the TV. He put on channel three,
and Hubbard's broadcast (from Hell) they did catch.
thankful (formerly-rich) man to ghost:
Rich man said: 'Ghost, I believe you indeed! ! You can leave now on your steed.
but first take my money and bring me a ‘honey',
for I've been long overdue to breed! ! '

The Dwellers Had Gone
Four dejected sons,
Shouldered a catafalque,
Of their deceased father,
Each propped the corner,
And went ahead sweating,
With prints of grief on the faces,
The Imam also move ahead
In their company, and the five
After having performed obsequies,
Stood with grave looks around
The fresh dug conic heap of earth,
And raised hands for the prayer
For the deceased mason,
Whose built houses of the village,
Still stood behind the banyan tree,
But with the silence prevailed lanes,
For the dwellers had gone,
To watch the annual dogs’ fight
Fight till death,
Death either of the one or of the both.

Above and beyond the call of duty for JT Ellison
Above and beyond the call of duty
Do Roman ghosts still guard the wall?
Far from their homelands in the sun.
I wonder if they thought at all.
They would remain their duty done.
As corpses in cold northern clay
or dreamt that they would return home.
In triumph on some distant day
to a well earned heroes welcome.
Sometimes when the blue twilight fall
I sit enrapt in reverie
and fancy that I hear their calls.
Although there’s nothing I can see.
Though one or two claim they can see
the roman sentries on patrol.
Along the wall quite frequently.
A sad parade of earth bound souls.
Who died too quick to understand
that they were dead their spirits free.
So they obey the last command
still do their duty faithfully.
Do Roman ghost still guard the walls?
I cannot answer honestly
I only know when twilight falls.
I think they might quite possibly
