She Misses Him On Sunday The Most

They were quite a pair
The way that love should be
They still held hands
For the world to see
Shes thankful that she had him all those years
But she still has days she cant hold back the tears
She misses their monday night bowling league
When theyd wear their matching shirts

Every life is filled with

until we wonder if

Pepper Spray
would you pepper spray your children?
you've fouled the air they will breathe
for the rest of their lives.....
you've fouled their drinking water,
or sold away the rights.
you've cut down their forests,
driven their animal friends to extinction....
carbon, smoke filled, oil spilled,
coal dust, radiation leaked.....
you've taken away their chances for education....
taken back the aid... left them on the streets,
or worse, sent them off to fight your greed wars...
let them get strung out on dope,
sent them to prison... let them fall
between the cracks....
you taught them your morality....
but your actions have taught them hatred,
fear, prejudice, take what you can get....
you've piled up debt that you're leaving for them....
you sold their chances for employment....
you've fed them lies until...
their eyes open, they just say no,
they've had enough.....

Dialogue On Non-death
Drowning her children
back in her womb,
a big tear rolls down the cheek of earth.
She was sitting on broken bones
to watch the terror,
ear for ear to listen,
eye for eye to see.
Hope was becoming ephemeral.
Nostalgia for breathing in,
the scented grains of death’s fruit,
no analogue, no relics of blood
and a ceremony of water, soil and wood.
All gone. It is a battered rubble
back to back, autoclaved, clean.
We walk back, heads bowed, shaven,
absolutely fouled with no immediate answer.

His early mornin' attitude
You have to drag him out of bed
Only Frosted Flakes will do
He gets that from me

His curly hair and his knobby knees
The way the sun brings those freckles out
