You are my opium
Is it a mystery to love you so,
Is it a myth that i cant forget you,
Is it a joke that i cry at times,
Is it a spell that im addicted
I search answers but reach none,
I search thought and reach some,
Its true, you are my opium
Did i forget to say bye,
Did i just shed a tear,
Did i just walk away,
Manhood and bravity,
Just to prove im a gentleman
Kiss me again and again
Just to prove you are my opium
I tell you i love you,
Just to prove im a gentleman,
You tell me i can go far,
Just to prove you are my opium
I tell you im sorry,
But you tell me otherwise
Just to prove you are my opium
Where are the stars,
Where is my old life,
You made me new,
You shuffled my life,
Just to prove you are my opium

There's probably a little greater case for pessimism than optimism. But I do not rule out optimism.
The President wishes the Japanese to be very prudent about the introduction of opium, and if a treaty is made, he wishes that opium may be strictly prohibited.

There is only one optimist. He has been here since man has been on this earth, and that is man himself. If we hadn't had such a magnificent optimism to carry us through all these things, we wouldn't be here. We have survived it on our optimism.

A poppycocktail from the Taliban
And soon defeat the Taliban?
An opium dream! Why, no-one can!
It's all world trade: their export crop is
in high demand - it's opium poppies,
passed via equivocal Pakistan,
who somehow fail to impose a ban
on this corruption, which is wider
than any doings of Al Quaeda:
the most effective tool, the best,
for the moral self-destruction of the West.

The opium pen
The opium pen
~
I get high off this write
inhaling each word
which gives me a hunger
to bite into another verse
ingest further prose
I'm reeling onto the next line
and seeing things on my own
things few others see
that they find strange
but I'm addicted to this
there's ink in my soul now
its as much a part of me
as it is to the pen
I score with this ink
a trip of the mind
I found my opium
in the freedom of expression

Can We Ever Feel And Care
If it is then I am sick
I burn in the night like a wick
Will it ever end
Wake me with a prick
Can you cure me my friend
Can you provide sanctuary
Can you be my opium
Can you cure me of my sleeplessness
Can't you hear them telling me there is no cure
Can my cure be opium
Could I ever get to much
Would you ever be my crutch
Can we ever feel each other's touch
Can you withstand the grip of my clutch
Can it ever be as such
Can I ever awake from this nightmare
Can we ever feel and care

It is not possible, given any degree of optimism and generosity in regard to people in general, to set a time limit on creative reflection or a limitation on the number of people involved in the creation.

Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of a heartless world, and the soul of soulless conditions. It is the opium of the people.
Addiction of a poet
Addiction of a poet
~
The dull ache persists
a disquiet longing
the opium of my words
knowing only silence
leaves me feverish
the addiction of it
draws every breath
anxiety, confusion
eyes lost into a gaze
the urge, desire to write
to feed upon again
the opium of my words
to satisfy this hunger
and break down the wall
which blocks creation
still the ache lingers
unnecessary
I must write

The Opium Den
(..dahinter schimmern die sterne)
may i introduce myself
i'm your poison
i'm gonna kill you tonite
i do it slowly, you gonna like it
you remember me for the rest of your life
but it won't last very long, hang on
it won't last very long, so hang on
to the opium den
i hang out here every nite
i'm just waiting, i'm just waiting for you
you gonna like what i..., you gonna like it
you gonna like what i do
but it won't last very long, hang on
it won't last very long, so hang on
to the opium den...
may i introduce myself
i'm your poison, i'm gonna kill you tonite
i do it slowly, you gonna like it
you remember me for the rest of your life
but it won't last very long, hang on
it won't last very long, so hang on
to the opium den...
it offers you comfort
as everything about it
it is mild, without reason
and for all it is perfect
and it is there, where i go now
and it is there, where i now go
and it is there, where i now go
it is there... where i... now... go..

Faith is an axiom
Faith is an axiom which is beyond proof.
Faith is a self-evident fact, a conviction, a belief which exists without a reason.
You put it to test, you fail. You cannot show the faith but you can certainly have one.
Hence, it is said to always “have faith” or to “keep faith”.
The more faith you have, the more hopes grow. The more hopes grow, the more optimism flows. The more optimism flows, the more confidence grows........so.....
Have faith in goodness and the good will soon follow.
Have faith in abundance and the riches will soon follow.

Chasing Pessimists Away
Pessimists would say that optimism is a gag,
But...
Being optimistic is a good thing to have.
Those who look for troubles got them carried in a bag,
'Cause...
They would rather carry all their troubles that they've had.
Carrying their troubles seeking more of them to nab.
Pessimists would say that optimism is a gag,
But...
Being optimistic is a good thing to have.
Being optimistic is a feeling that could last.
Those who look for troubles got them carried in a bag,
'Cause...
They would rather carry all their troubles that they've had.
And carrying their troubles seeking more of them to nab.
Pessimists would say that optimism is a gag,
But...
Being optimistic is a good thing to have.
Being optimistic is a feeling that could last.
And being optimistic makes those pessimists mad.
And chasing pessimists away should make somebody glad.
Pessimists would say that optimism is a gag,
But...
Being optimistic is a good thing to have.
And being optimistic is much better than the bad.
Being optimistic makes a better day had.
Being optimistic makes a better day had.

Jasmine & Rose
The air tastes just like you, its the smell of june
A sensory shock that jolts my spirit, I slowly swallow you
A spray of little droplets, a fragrance so refined
The spirit of nostalgia is passing me by
Opium and poison, jasmine and rose
Dream of ambrosia, all flavours glow, its sensual, its sensual, sensual
It all began so easy, with you on the floor
Against your willing flanks and knocking down your door
Until the day it crumbled, no game of win and lose
You told me nothing, you left me confused
Expelled like poison, a trim of the dose,
A limb disposed of, in a whim she chose,so rigorous, shes vigorous
Shes vigorous,
Heart of the hardest world, its just the thought of you
All those variations, the air is full of you
The smell of summer rain, once more the scent of june
This sweet concentration ,brings me back to you
Opium and poison
My taste of june, my taste of you
Inhale, inhale your trail
Opium and poison, jasmine and rose, dream of escape with me, all flavours go,
Its sensual, its sensual, its sensual
What was ours will drift away, a simple breeze on a humid day
Oh, nothing lasts, nothing lasts, forever

Religious suffering is at once the expression of real suffering and a protest against real suffering. Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the sentiment of the heartless world, as it is the soul of soulless condition. It is the opium of the people.
