When we make the cerebral state the beginning of an action, and in no sense the condition of a perception, we place the perceived images of things outside the image of our body, and thus replace perception within the things themselves.

The glow of darkness
The glow of darkness
Darkness, in our normal understanding
Is bereft of the revealing light or perception
We are unable to make out or perceive
Things in darkness
And often prefer to blame it
And come out of it
Darkness is nothing new to you
You are in dark while you sleep
And you were in dark in your mother’s womb
Though you seem to be in light
More often you are in dark
As most of the things seen and perceived
Are in guise
So, darkness and your non-ability
To see are ever with you
Whether you know it or not
But, darkness by itself is perceived
And realized instantly with no aid
Even the visually challenged person
Can perceive darkness and understand it
While in darkness
At the same time, we try to
Perceive things so far you have
Never attempted to look for
Your inner vision in fact helps you
A great number of things
Which you might have seen
In bright light and broad daylight
You will agree darkness
Triggers the functioning of
Other sense organs and
They come to your rescue
In case you are in some trouble
Extending this understanding
Your wisdom comes to life
And you attempt to visualize
Less perceived things while being in dark
As an old Sanskrit script says
The person who sees inaction in action
And action in inaction is wise
And performs in totality
We end up with a corollary
That the person who sees light in darkness
And darkness in light
Sees things in totality
Your vision broadens
Your understanding widens
Your wisdom sees beyond
Your realization gets fine-tuned
When you feel you are in darkness
Darkness gives you an opportunity
To see the oft-unseen
To realize the oft-unrealized
To feel the oft-unfelt and
To perceivee the oft-unperceived
Attempt is not to eulogize darkness
Attempt is not to glorify ignorance
Attempt is to make you understand darkness
And to draw your attention that
While in darkness you keep yourself awake
And trigger your innovative initiatives
To see out-of-the-box possibilities
Do not curse darkness
And it will be wise to see a new light in it
And appreciate its glow

The musician - if he be a good one - finds his own perception prompted by the poet's perception, and he translates the expression of that perception from the terms of poetry into the terms of music.

Beliefs Forever Tricked
Marketing a perception,
Is only as good as the result.
If an anticipated result is achieved,
A perception fed can be said to be successful.
Hopefully the perception sold,
Does not become intercepted by the reality.
A clash with reality could leave some minds whacked.
To become entrapped with beliefs forever tricked to enslave.

Perception
Trust and faith
in what I believe
comes to me
through all I perceive.
If I perceive myself
as free,
then that is what
I always will be.
If I perceive
that everything's fine,
then my perception
is a grand design
that takes me above
the chaos and fear.
It becomes nothing
to which I adhere.
If I perceive
that I'm in control,
then my perception is
a midnight's stroll
that leads me to find
great peace within.
It completes the perception
my vision lets in.

Open Book's Monologue Part 4 Bookkeeping
Regular written books or a regular written novel
Could sell
But each copy would essentially be the same
And the words stagnant, unable to change, in a sense lame
Because they cannot move or rearrange
They just never change
But I guess even though I'm an open book that's where we differ
My words do change, and my past is rewritten
When my memories become hazy or hidden
Suddenly I've changed my past, said something different to her
Or him, or supposedly done an action that never did occur.
When witnesses balk and there is no vindication
Nor affirmation
It's hard to keep my memories truthfully
Call me a liar for changing them, but that's me
Bookkeeping is near impossible
Because rewriting my beginnings is possible
It's hard to remember what's fact or fiction
When this novel is just a fantastical rendition
Of what I think my life is or thought my life was
Not what it really is or really was
I think it's because
Those unhappy memories of the past ought
Just to be forgot
So I choose (o so subconsciously) to rewrite them
Only to find they've made my destiny
They've made me- me
It's funny that I write of bookkeeping
And changing the beginning of the book
When I feel so strongly
That such things are impossible for me
So in a sense this poem is a contradiction
But then maybe my changes are just my perception
Of my story because I cannot look back
So I guess I'm wrong... future and past are stained in black
Because as a book I could change what I think
Maybe even float not sink
But that's just my perception, because my story
Is actually
The Immutable tragedy
The tragedy of me
And past... present... future
They won't endure
One day pages will crumble to dust
But I think... I'll go first... Actually I think.... I think...
I must.

Strength to have extra perception
Extra perception to know
that evil is lurking inside my brain
Evil is making a home of my heart
Extra Sensory Perception...
If only I had the strength to
let go and not try to escape...

To perceive means to immobilize... we seize, in the act of perception, something which outruns perception itself.

Reality
The lights are on but you're not home
You've drifted off somewhere alone
Somewhere that's safe, no questions here
A quite place to hide from your fears
Sometimes when your out of rope
The way to climb back up is unclear
The walls you build around yourself
I guess they keep you here
Are you afraid of what they think?
Whoever "they" happen to be
Or are you hiding from the scars of your own reality?
So you sedate and drown in vain
You've got a pill for everyday
A suit and tie to mask the truth
It's ugly head is starting to show through
Sometimes when your out of rope
The way to climb back up is unclear
The walls you build around yourself
I guess they keep you here
Are you afraid of what they think?
Whoever "they" happen to be
Or are you hiding from the scars of your own reality?
The monster you're feeding, your lack of perception
The things that you do to fulfill addictions
The light at the end of your tunnel is closing
What is it that your so afraid of exposing
You'd give it all up for what there for the taking
Whatever it takes to keep your hands from shaking
The same things you're thinking might make you feel better
The same things that probably got you here
Sometimes when your out of rope
The way to climb back up is unclear
The walls you build around yourself
I guess they keep you here
Are you afraid of what they think?
Whoever "they" happen to be
Or are you hiding from the scars of your own reality?
The monster you're feeding, your lack of perception
The things that you do to fulfill addictions
The light at the end of your tunnel is closing
What is it that your so afraid of exposing
You'd give it all up for what there for the taking
Whatever it takes to keep your hands from shaking
The same things you're thinking might make you feel better
The same things that probably got you here

You must consider, when reading this treatise, that mental perception, because connected with matter, is subject to conditions similar to those to which physical perception is subject.

Now of first principles we see some by induction, some by perception, some by a certain habituation, and others too in other ways. But each set of principles we must try to investigate in the natural way, and we must take pains to state them definitely, since they have a great influence on what follows. For the beginning is thought to be more than half of the whole, and many of the questions we ask are cleared up by it.

The Latest One Looks Better
I read to my son a story
I heard read when I was a child.
I read it to my grandson
Each time my perception grew.
I visited the Taj Mahal
As a child, an adult and
An old one and each time
My perception got better view.
She was my teenage girlfriend.
I met her as a young mother
And later as a grand mother.
My perception underwent changes.
Partly my accumulated knowledge
And partly the impact on them
Of time and space are the causes.
The latest beat the formers..
